The path even leads you to Laughlin Riverwalk. For meditation, contemplation, or just plain leisurely walking, it is really nice. It was terrific after a heavy lunch! There is access to restrooms, shade shelters, incredible natural wildlife and fauna are an incredible template for relaxing as well as getting your cardio moving. Right on the Colorado river gives you an incredible view of not only the glistening ripples of flow, but an incredible experience of changing colors of water and the nearby dam. Contemporary meets ancient. A truly soothing environment.

The marker is right in the side of the road so it's easy to spot. Super peaceful and kind of amazing that someone had the patience and artistry to create something like this. I enjoyed walking through the big spiral, there are a couple of them. I think others have made their own little ones nearby and the rock balancings. All the recent rain made for some pretty flowers scattered around. Good for a nice morning walk outside the smoky casino life across the way.

I especially enjoy it when they know nothing about Oakland and then they get up there and are surprised. It is a small compact two block town; of the residence and employees of all the little gift shops. I've always been very friendly and helpful. They are always welcoming. There are meals and snacks to be bought while visiting. Oh and of course, I forgot the gun fight acting in the street. Out of all the times we've been there there's only been one time we have not seen a donkey. We just went this week and we have seen more donkeys this time that we have ever seen there including about 20 welcoming us into town right on the road as we entered You want to visit this town at least once not a bad drive there either.

We spent time exploring the Oatman Jail and the Oatman Mine, both of which were really interesting and added to the town's old-west history. Of course, the highlight was making friends with the many donkeys roaming the streets--they are everywhere and make the visit even more special. The shops, people, and overall atmosphere were welcoming and unique, with something interesting around every corner. Oatman has a way of slowing you down and making you want to take it all in. On our way back home to Vegas, we took Route 66, and the drive was absolutely beautiful. The scenery alone made the trip worth it. If you're looking for a fun day trip, love history, or just want a unique experience, Oatman is definitely worth the visit. We'll absolutely be back!

A well placed tribute to the service men and women of all branches of the military. Located on the…read moreLaughlin, NV side of the Colorado river. This Hwy is a spur off of Veterans Memorial Highway also know as US 95. Several US flags are placed at this memorial as well as each flag of the US military including Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines. Located nearby are piers and docks that will bring you to the waters edge of the Colorado River. On this day we were able to see many duck species that were playing in the water. The flags were also standing tall with the desert wind gusting.

Just know it doesn't connect to Harrah's, so getting there means walking out to the street and up a steep road. It's a nice nighttime stroll, but watch your step--I almost ran into a huge tarantula near the Riverside Casino . You can also hear parakeets in the palm trees by Riverside, and there are some areas where employees take smoke breaks. Overall, a scenic and easy way to get around with a few quirks.

I booked this casino for our first…read morefamily trip to Laughlin, one of the main reasons we booked this casino was to use the pool during extremely hot weather, only to find it closed on the second-to-last day of our stay with no prior notification to guests. When I inquired about alternative arrangements or compensation, Assistant Manager Lisa Krueger questioned why we hadn't used the pool earlier in our trip instead of addressing the inconvenience. I found her response dismissive and unprofessional, and she attempted to end the conversation before I had finished expressing my concerns. The issues didn't stop there. The coffee maker in one of our rooms was not working, I didn't want to complain about it because we ended up getting McDonalds coffee at the food court. Another room didn't have a properly working phone, making it difficult to reach hotel services. Housekeeping also refused to provide the amount of toilet paper requested because "we only had one day remaining in our stay". I've never experienced a hotel limiting basic necessities for paying guests. The lack of communication, poor customer service, and subpar accommodations made this a frustrating experience for my family. We expected much better from a resort property.

Blair was absolutely amazing--friendly, knowledgeable, and just one of those people who makes you feel at ease right away. And Wolfe (his adorable dog!) completely stole my heart. It honestly added such a fun, personal touch to the whole experience. The rest of the staff were just as fantastic--super attentive, upbeat, and clearly passionate about what they do. The trip itself? Unreal. The water at Willow Beach is stunning, and paddling into the Emerald Caves felt like something out of a dream. The views, the calmness, the whole atmosphere--it was the perfect mix of adventure and peace. What really stood out to me was how safe and comfortable they made me feel the entire time. They took the time to make sure I understood everything, checked in along the way, and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. The park has improved since our first visit about 3 summers ago. We come here at least once and we all enjoy it, we get there early morning and leave right before closing. I may add, if you go during the summer, you MUST wear sun protection and bring lots of water, the heat is no joke. The water is really cold which is refreshing on a hot summer day. The staff is very friendly and informative, also very helpful!! My tent blew away during a little windy moment and they helped me bring it back while also providing tips to prevent it from happening again. In the past, we had to get there before the park opened to secure a spot and once capacity was met they didn't allow anyone to enter. This was tough since there were a couple times we didn't make it on time and had to go elsewhere. Now, things have changed, which is a lot more convenient. They only allow the people that have reserved online go in from 7am-11:30am. If you DO NOT have reservations, you will NOT be allowed in before 11:30. At 11:30 they will only allow you in if they haven't reached capacity and it's first come first serve. If you did RSVP and make it after 11:30am, you risk losing your spot since general people will be allowed in at that time.
