If you're interested in photos with the princesses, this is the stop! There are two sides and each has two princesses to meet and greet with, and photos to take! Which princess is out is shown on the banner outside. They do swap them from time to time so be sure to check if you're wanting to meet someone specific. Normally it's Cinderella and Snow White or Belle on one side and Rapunzel or Tiana and Elena on the other side. Occasionally they have Aurora or Merida but it's more rare. The lines are usually between thirty and forty five minutes, so I'd consider fast passes if available. This cuts it down to max ten minutes. If you have the premium or Platinum pass, digital photos are free! The line is pretty much all indoors and air-conditioned. Overall: A A guaranteed way to meet royalty. ;)

What an amazing experience.... and I'm an adult! I can only imagine what a magical experience it must be for a little one! Big tip: Get a fast pass! I know you hear this time and time again for many of the attractions, but when meeting these characters, you could be looking at a 2+ hour wait without that fast pass. With the fast pass, they usher you right in. When I met Anna and Elsa, I had about a 5 minute wait with the fast pass. When I met Rapunzel and Cinderella I had zero wait with my fast pass. That's where they will get you too. Fairytale Hall is divided up into two sections. They do switch which Princesses are there from time to time, but there are always two sections. If you want to meet the Princesses on one side, you get to wait 2 hours or so. Then if you want to meet the Princess on the other side, you get to wait all over again. If you want to meet the Princesses on both sides, you'll need two fast passes. I got a fast pass for one night and met Anna and Elsa. I got a fast pass for the next night to meet Rapunzel and Cinderella. Once you step inside, everything is so elegant. You really feel like you are in a castle. Take a look up at the lighting fixtures which are in the shape of crowns and see if you can spot the hidden mickeys. I can see why the line moves so slowly. Each Princess really takes her time with you and the entire family. It's not just a quick photo snap. They actually take the time to talk to you and have a conversation; albeit, it's a short conversation, but a conversation nonetheless. I'm sure they are tired of standing and smiling, but you'd never know it. They seem genuinely interested in you. So, it's really impossible for Disney to get a good queue time because a Princess may be with one little girl for two minutes, then she may spend 5 minutes or so with the next family because they have several children and mom & dad want to get in on the action too. Of the four I met last week: Anna, Elsa, Cinderella, and Rapunzel, I have so say Elsa was my absolute favourite. She was just beautiful and oh so sweet. Her dress was also the most gorgeous, as were the crystals in her hair. Anna and Rapunzel were both fun, made a lot of jokes, and laughed a lot. Cinderella was the most regal and proper. I also think Cinderella was a bit tired, but she was still very kind and had a beautiful smile. I can't wait to do this again. I think I'll skip Cinderella and Raunzel and go meet Anna and Elsa again. Besides, at present, I'm fascinated with all things Frozen anyway! =) If you have a little one, please make sure to do this experience. Just please make sure to get fast passes. Otherwise, by the time you get inside, your little one is going to be so grumpy from waiting in line so long they may no longer care about meeting the Princesses!

The inside of this hall was beautiful! Perfect place to meet four princesses at once. They have two on each side! We got to meet tiana, rapunzel, Cinderella and Elena. The lines weren't that long when we went. They didn't a good job making the inside look elegant! All the princesses were nice and friendly!

It's the same princess meet and greet that was up front, just new home/location. Being able to fast pass this is a life saver. And, it's new location in fantasy land makes it more convenient to incorporate that fast pass into your day. Having to go back to the front of the park was time wasting. Regardless of location, the little extra time the princesses spend trying to coax your little one to get over her shyness/shock and actually speak to the person she'd been waiting months to speak to is appreciated.

Really nicely done! Indoor, castle setting... The girls, 3 and 5, loved it!

So nicely done! The decorations inside make it look like you are entering the castle hallways.

But as a random person, we didn't really have a bad experience. Magic Kingdom is not an amusement park, it's a theme park. Rides are basic, but I think it's so every guest can have the same experience. Easy to stop and go if you need to get on the ride in an untraditional way. Completely overpriced though, which is why my wife and I have been together for 22 years and this was the first time we went to Disney in that time. If we didn't spend more on lightning lane passes, we would not have had a good day. I feel you can do whatever you want here. People cut in line, push past others, talk through all the instructions and rides. Some weird woman just recited the entire Haunted Mansion introduction, because with main character syndrome, she wanted to ruin the experience for everyone else? I feel I enjoy Marvel and Star Wars more than most other properties and I still think Disney has catching up to do with Universal Studios. It's a better world over there. There is a lot of Disney "Magic" though. You have to pay for it, but like Disney, you throw enough money at a problem and it does appear better.

On the positive side, the rides are great, and our children truly had a blast. As expected, wait times are long, but the real downside kicks in if you are a non-rider waiting for your family. Unlike Universal, which features plenty of air-conditioned stores and amenities near every ride exit, Disney offers very little relief from the blazing heat for waiting parents. Kind of a bummer for non-riders. A word of warning for future travelers: over-plan your budget. A few days here will heavily hit your wallet. While it is ultimately a great milestone experience for families, the high costs and lack of comfort likely makes this a one-and-done trip for us. I'll never say never; however, this is where we are currently leaning. Have fun, wear your sunscreen, and bring a mini fan if you are going during the spring or summer. Enjoy!

I thought maybe that was because this ride opened around the same time as the movie in 1989. However, I was a bit surprised to learn after the fact that this ride actually opened 23 years after the movie, in late 2012. On the ride, you board clamshells that take you on an adventure under the sea. Pretty much all the characters from the movie make an appearance and the ride is filled with Alan Menken and Howard Ashman's popular songs like "Part of Your World," "Under the Sea," "Poor Unfortunate Souls," and "Kiss the Girl." The "Under the Sea" song and dance segment is bright and colorful. It reminds me of going to E.T.'s planet in the E.T. Adventure ride at Universal Studios. It's a festive party; both rides have that neon-colored, crowded "creature party" aesthetic. During our visit, the animatronic Ariel in this section was broken and inanimate. Kind of funny and creepy. During the "Kiss the Girl" segment, the plastic water coming out of the fishes' mouths didn't look great. It added to the overall sort of "knock-off" and kitschy look of the ride. Also, right before the end of the final scene with King Triton and the wedding of Ariel and Eric, the ride stopped on us. So, I was able to get a good, long look at the different animatronics and scenery. Finally, I thought the transitions between the high-quality video and the actual practical physical ride props were a bit jarring. Other rides do it better like, for example, the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros at EPCOT. We had Lightning Lane passes at around 1:47 PM on a non-holiday Monday and experienced no line and no wait.

It is a slow moving ride that goes on a flat track and will move your clamshell 365 degrees, as well as going backwards and tipping backwards as well. It does not spin fast and as someone who gets motion sickness, you should be fine. The seat has a lap bar for the entire row and is not comfortable at all. It is a very hard bench. I find this ride becoming more of a favorite probably since it is super cute and the line is never very long. The line can get long at times, but I recommend waiting until the wait drops below 20 minutes. The line starts outside which has little shade and is very hot in the summer, but then moves inside, where the majority of the line is. Inside it is covered and much cooler. It is actually really dark inside and my eyes always have to adjust. This ride is very colorful, very musical and very fun. If you know this movie, you are going through the story quickly. There are a few dark areas throughout the ride as well as a couple of loud parts. This rides also "stops" as well. There is not a time we have been on this that it did not have a stop for a a minute or so. This ride is designed for children, however, as an adult, it is becoming a favorite of mine. It is nice long ride, that you can sit and relax. This is a must go in the summer for us! Cool, AC, sitting down, sign me up! I would recommend this ride but only when the line is 20 minutes or less. Otherwise, wait and come back later.
