A decade ago I remember thinking the Land Pavilion was fairly robust with things to enjoy, but this year's visit was disappointing. Attractions: The boat ride offering an educational glance at growing food and plants offers a shorter line and quick break. Soarin' is popular; however, the line queue is rough without a lightning pass. Food: We noticed one character restaurant with Chip and Dale as its main friends. The quick service is no longer staffed. Instead it's a few grab and go items like salads or drinks. Lots of empty seating. There's 1-2 other options to view, but we couldn't imagine spending our limited time there versus another part of the park. This is a space that should be reimagined. read more

The Land Pavilion is home to the Living with the Land boat ride and greenhouse tour, as well as the Soarin' Around the World flight simulator and movie, which will become Soarin' Across America in summer 2026. Both attractions are good and worth checking out. The Land Pavilion is located in World Nature at EPCOT. Living with the Land is a classic and originally opened with EPCOT on October 1, 1982. In addition to the above attractions, the Land Pavilion is kind of like a mall with air conditioning, multiple levels, escalators, a food court, a restaurant, a movie theater (showing only one movie: Awesome Planet), shopping, and large restrooms. Due to the volume of people that go through this place on a daily basis, the restrooms are constantly cleaned and maintained (but I guess that's most of the common-area and large restrooms at Disney World). Because of the A/C, food/drink, seating, and restrooms, the Land Pavilion can be a decent place to take a break at EPCOT. That said, it can still get pretty full. Also, it looks and feels dated in late 2025 into 2026, especially the ceiling ribbons, hot air balloons, and light fixtures. read more

The Land Pavilion in Epcot is one of my favorite parts of Epcot. There are so many activities at the Land Pavilion that you could easily spend several hours in just this area! If it's summer, this is a great location to take a break at too! It's all air conditioned inside! While my family and I were visiting for the Holidays, we went to Epcot twice during our week long visit. Both times, we did go to the Land Pavilion! The Land Pavilion is almost 6 acres large and is the largest area in World Nature! Some of the activities at the Land Pavilion Soarin' Around the World: This is one of my favorite rides. The stand-by wait can easily get up to an hour, but lightning lane is available for this ride. It's one of the more popular rides at Epcot. Soarin is a motion ride which brings you to variety of destinations across the world! Living with the Land ride was one of the main reasons why we visited The Land Pavilion so many times during the holidays. The Living with the Land ride was decorated for the holidays. We rode it during the day and during the night to see all of the beautiful holiday lights and decorations. This ride is absolutely amazing! The wait time is always low and it's relatively lengthy ride, a little bit more than 10+ minutes. This ride will take you on an educational adventure. You'll see a tropical rain forest, a desert, and learn about hydroponics, aquaculture, and aeroponics. We did end up eating at the Garden Grill Restaurant and all of the vegetables are used from the garden here! Awesome Planet: Awesome Planet was released in 2020 and it shows the story of Earth. It's approximately 10 minutes long and uses in-theater effects like scents and wind! It's a great educational show! The Land Pavilion has a lot of dining availability Sunshine Seasons: Quick service restaurant that has breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Garden Grill: Sit down restaurant. We had reservations for lunch during one of our Epcot days. Garden Grill offers American Cuisine served family style. The restaurant rotates and provides views of the Living of the Land ride. We had a lot of character meet and greets during our time at the Garden Grill. This restaurant is one of my favorites. The steak and turkey was amazing!! Unfortunately, we missed out on the reservation for the Behind the Seeds Tour. This is an extra activity that costs $39.00-$45.00 per person. It's a guided tour and looks at all of the greenhouses that are in the Living of the Land attraction. I'll try again next time we visit Disney World! This land is my land, this land is your land, this land is made for me and youuuuu! I had to learn that is elementary school music class and always think of it when at Epcot's The Land Pavilion in Disney World. The Land has such 70s vibes to me. Let's save the earth, man. Let's use the earth without abusing the earth. Watch this film about the earth, not learn about sustainability on this ride, and take let's appreciate flying over scenes all over the world of places we appreciate. It also is designed in a way that gives me 70s vibes, but you know what? I like it, lol. I am a Disney freak though so take what I say with a grain of salt. When I was 4, Kitchen Kabaret was my favorite thing at Epcot. I freaking loved those singing vegetables. #BringBackKitchenKabaret I've always like Sunshine Season best for fast casual in Epcot's. Soarin' has a special place in my heart because it was my mama's favorite ride at all of Disney. And despite many thinking it's lame, I like Living with the Land! It's a calm and nice little boat ride. I also enjoy the buffet character meal with Chip N Dale, but that aforementioned 70s lighting is just NOT it for pics with Mickey and Minnie, lol. I can't ever get an amazing pic in there! I've even done the Behind the Scenes tour which was fascinating, educational and just fun to see behind Disney's curtain for an hour. Highly recommended! There's not much at Disney I'm not a fan of and The Land is no exception. I love it and I'll be back a billion times over. read more

Another area inside Disney's EPCOT Park. What brought us to this area of the park was the attraction called Soarin. This is such a fun ride. You sit on a hang glider and fly over parts of California. The other attraction in this area is Living with the Land. We didn't get to do this one unfortunately. Maybe next time! I really wanted to see some of the sustainability ideas that Disney has going for the nature. We actually stopped by The Land Pavilion on the way out of the park. Yes, it was an afterthought- but then we were pleasantly surprised. It would have been awesome to be able to try the fresh food made from the garden and stuff. We were full from trying all the food from the 11 countries tour. So, we didn't have any room for food here. read more

The Land Pavilion is definitely a learning experience. I'm sure I did a review before. My Epcot Reviews are missing. I remember years ago seeing the genetically modified tomatoes. I just didn't think it was going to catch on. It looks unnatural to me. If I'm not mistaken this is the Pavilion with the irritating theme song that played over and over while you wait in line. My daughter and I would have it stuck in our head the rest of the time we spent at Epcot. After visiting this pavilion a time or two we didn't return. We want junk food at Epcot not healthy eating. They changed the music since I last visited. Been there done that. Three Stars for the memories of our laughter at the Land Theme Song! read more

The Land - my favorite pavilion in Future World! Despite its multiple refreshments and corporate sponsor changes throughout the years, The Land has always remained true to its original message: sustainable use of the land while showing a respect for the planet. What's so great about The Land is that there's a lot to do (and eat) here - so let's dive in. The Land is entirely indoors and is split into two levels. There are two rides, a sit-down restaurant, and a counter service eatery. There's also a theater that used to show a short film but it has since closed, though I've heard a new one is in the works. The two attractions, Soarin' and Living with the Land, contribute the most to the popularity of the pavilion (especially the former). Soarin' is a simulated hang glider experience taking you all around the world. Living with the Land is a boat ride that takes you behind the scenes to Epcot's greenhouses and shows what Disney is doing to advance agriculture and sustainable farming. I honestly love this ride - one of my favorites in WDW. The Garden Grill is a sit-down character spot - food is pretty good and one of the coolest things is that the restaurant slowly rotates. Sunshine Seasons is an awesome counter service eatery that serves a wide variety of dishes throughout the day. It may not compare to the more international offerings around World Showcase, but it's still one of the strongest counter service spots on property. Architecturally interesting, lots to do, and an important message - for me, The Land is the perfect example of popular attractions while also maintaining the original mission of Epcot. I will always hold this pavilion close to me and make it a priority to visit whenever I'm in Disney World. read more

The Land Pavilion is more classic EPCOT with a few notable exceptions. Strollers are not permitted in this pavilion. When you enter on the 2nd floor you will see balloons over the overlook that enables you to see the attractions on the first floor. Here on the 2nd floor is a short movie called "Awesome planet" which explains earth's ecosystems and man's impacts upon them. You will also find character dining called the "Garden Grille" which is a revolving restaurant that enables you to look down on the "living with the land" attraction downstairs. Most of the food comes fresh from their gardens. Take the escalator downstairs and you will see two attractions and a fast casual restaurant. "Soaring around the world" (reviewed separately) is a headliner attraction that replaced "Food rocks" that was in that space. Soaring is definitely worth a visit. Living with the land is a boat ride through a prairie, a rainforest, and a desert. Solar covered panels above you add to the ecosystem. It's an awesome ride learning how ecosystems help shape the land and food we use. Finally there is Sunshine Seasons which is a quick service fast food eatery set up food court style. The land pavilion is located in the newly named "World Nature" section of EPCOT. read more

One of our favorite parts of Epcot. Yesterday we watched the film Awesome Planet which is a great way to start the Land. A bit like Soarin in a video. Then we did the Land Ride (no waiting) at night which now has a lot of Christmas decorations and lights. Very nice. And we finished with Soarin after only a 10 minute line! Wonderful. The land pavilion is in need of an update but I still love to go there. They have one of my favorite rides in Epcot - The Land, which showcases some really innovative ways that Epcot is looking in to various techniques for farming and fishing in sustainable manners that still produce high yields for large populations. The pavilion itself is huge, but it seems a little like wasted space. They have a large wrap around walk way that leads to both the Lion King show and a sit down restaurant that offers food grown in Epcot itself. From there you can head downstairs and into the Seasons area for quick serve food options, Soarin', and The Land ride. In front of Soarin' you can also sign up for backstage tours within the Land and see close up how they operate the gardens and fish tanks (this is an additional cost - pass holders receive a 15% discount on the additional ticket price of $25 / person). The whole inside of the building could really stand a facelift. The carpet looks like it's in pretty desperate need of replacement. The Seasons area is only half open with food options every time we've been (which means that most of it's just dead space), and the seating area is always overcrowded. I adore the idea of this pavilion and sincerely hope that it gets a bit of an upgrade to keep it relevant and clean! Overall: B Could use a facelift, but the innovative ideas and educational value are totally worth the visit. read more

I always like eating lunch at the land. The fresh ingredients grown in the greenhouse next door always meets my expectation of flavor and freshness. Sometimes this building can be packed with people wanting to ride Soarin (which is a great ride, you need to ride it if you haven't yet!). But overall it's not too busy in the food section even on a busy day. The style is cafeteria style, they have tons of options to choose from which each member of your party will hopefully enjoy. A great pavilion paying tribute to the land in many ways! This is located in Disney's EPCOT Theme park. It is one of the pavilions that is NOT located around the lake with the countries. As you enter the park follow the path to the right under or next to Spaceship Earth (the big ball at the entrance). It is between Nemo and Figment located on the west side of the entrance. You enter on the second floor of a large building. A walkway goes to the right or left and allows a view down to the first floor. The second floor hosts 2 areas of interest: a restaurant and a movie about, you guessed it, the land. An escalator, stairs, or elevator ride will bring you to the first floor which hosts at least 3 main areas. The first is the gentle boat ride called Living with the Land that takes you on several biomes describing various climates found in the world. Then it floats you through the greenhouse before depositing you back next to the beginning of the ride. Across from this is the second area, the food court, hosting something for all palates. The third area is the Soaring concourse. This is a little more adventurous but a very enjoyable experience that simulates flying through beautiful and unique areas around the world. The Land Pavilion is located inside Epcot at Walt Disney World. It is one of the different pavilions within Future World. Inside there is a 3D show, a sit down character all you can eat restaurant, a quick service restaurant and two rides, Soarin and Living with the Land. Both of the rides are my favorite at the park. The quick service restaurant is actually really good. It is not your typical Theme Park food with burgers and hot dogs. They have more "upscale" food items such as my favorite, fish tacos, Chinese food, sushi, salads with chicken or tuna and sandwiches. It is defintely a nice place to sit down even if you just want a drink or something sweet. You do need to leave your strollers outside which is nice that it is not over run with strollers but it can make it difficult with babies. I would definitely recommend stopping by to check out all they have in here. It is a nice place to just to stop and have a breather or actually do all the have to offer inside. Of all the pavilion's found in FutureWorld, The Land is my favorite. Now don't get me wrong-I absolutely adore and love Spaceship Earth and The Universe of Energy but those are stand alone attractions. The Land Pavilion houses a variety of attractions, restaurants, etc. for you to enjoy. For the attractions you have Soarin, Living with the Land, and Circle of Life. Soarin is a hang glider simulation attraction and is definitely a headliner, E-Ticket, attraction and is not to be missed (I would advise either a FastPass or getting here at rope drop). Living with the Land is EPCOT edutainment at its finest. A slow moving boat ride, this attraction takes you though a variety of landscapes and environments before taking a tour through "EPCOT's living laboratories" in the form of the greenhouse that is a part of this pavilion. Circle of Life is a (dated) film staring Simba, Timon, and Pumba (of Lion King fame) and discusses human impact on the world we live in. In addition they also offer an add-on experience (IE at an additional fee) in the form of a walking tour of the EPCOT greenhouse called the Behind the Seeds Tour. The Land Pavilion is home to two different dining experiences in the forms of Sunshine Seasons and The Garden Grill. Sunshine Seasons is (in my opinion) the best counter service option you have in EPCOT. Fresh, hot, tasty choices await with a great variety available to satiate any diner. The breakfast item here, not to be missed, is French toast bread pudding. So far as lunch/dinner my go to is the vegan stir fry and their rotating seasonal soup. Garden Grill is actually an all you can eat restaurant that rotates. The food is served family style so all refills are brought directly to the table. While you dine you will not only get some great and unique views of the Living with the Land attraction but you'll also be visited by a handful of Disney characters (typically it's been Farmer Mickey, Pluto, Chip & Dale) for photos and autographs. Both of these dining options actually serve some of the food that is grown in the EPCOT greenhouse housed in The Land Pavilion. The Land Pavilion is one that I make sure to take a trip to while at EPCOT. Even if it's after a half marathon, I'll make the trek up that hill to visit this great pavilion for any number of reasons. Epcot has two distinct sections, the world showcase in the back and Future World in the front. Future World has a variety of different pavilions and "The Land" is one of my favorites. Yes, this one needs to be updated with new carpet and maybe a fresh coat of paint, but I like the content. As you walk up, you'll notice many strollers out front. It's quite an incline walking up to the entrance. Once inside you'll be on the top level. There are a few spots to sit, enjoy the AC, and charge your phone on a wall outlet. Attractions: Soarin - the most popular of all the attractions at Epcot. Many people go straight to it when they arrive to get a Fast Pass, I suggest you do the same. It is a huge IMAX screen where you sit in faux hang gliders with your feet dangling below you. The ride simulates flight. Living with the Land - a slow moving boat tour of the hydroponic food growing in the back part of the building and greenhouses as well as through man made scenes of different biomes. Circle of Life: An Environmental Fable - a Lion King movie about humans and their environmental footprint. It is very kid friendly. Behind the Seeds tour - I've never been on this, but there is a guided behind the scenes tour of the greenhouses. You can sometimes see the people on this tour while riding through the attractions on the Living with the Land boat ride. Food: Most of the food in this pavilion is very theme park casual / food court with counter service and large areas to sit. The counter service food is located on the bottom level. The Garden Grill - waiter service, rotating restaurant with views of the different scenes from the Living with the Land boat ride. As your table rotates around, you will see a variety of scenes from the ride and can see some of the boats as they move through the ride. Make reservations. There is some shopping, but it is very minimal in this pavilion. I would suggest checking out this Pavilion. It's not a super intense pavilion but it is very educational and relaxing! read more

This building is always crowded, yet traffic flow is decent. Downstairs is Sunshine Seasons, the quick-service food-court style restaurant with vast seating, along with the attractions Soarin' and Living with the Land. Upstairs is another restaurant and the Circle of Life show. The bathrooms downstairs were very large & clean. This building has a lot going on but pedestrian traffic jams are minimal, in spite of the crowds. Plus, it's well air-conditioned, for nearly every single Florida afternoon. read more

And also has Soarin' which a FastPass is good for, I personally don't ride soaring because of the whole leg dangling thing, only thing I don't recommend is the foods not all that great. The Land is my favorite section of the Future World side of EPCOT, if only because it houses Soarin,' my favorite ride in all of WDW. But the pavilion offers more, with the Living with the Land ride talking about conservation and alternate food production methods (Ironically the "Land" ride uses boats). The Land Pavilion has some fun rides but nothing that really made me want to return. Soarin' is fun but there's so much to see in Epcot that I could skip it if I needed to. We did eat at the Seasons restaurant and it was pretty good but again, nothing all that special- especially compared with all the food options in the rest of Epcot. read more

The food here is amazing! It's healthy, which is really nice after a full week of eating absurd amounts of food that was also very good but not all that healthy. The Land focuses on naturally grown foods that have some health benefit to them although I'm not so sure about the health benefits of the triple layer chocolate mouse cake but it was still amazing. They also have food portions that are almost the correct size (still a little on the large side but they want you to feel like you're getting your money's worth). I ate here twice during the week we were down at Disney. I'd have eaten at the Land more often but we weren't always in EPCOT to make that happen. Still, it's a great exhibit location with outstanding food. You can then follow up the lunch with a pleasant boat ride around their hydroponic food farm or go ride on Soaring. Make sure you get a fast pass for Soaring as it has one of the biggest waits in the park. Get one before you sit down to eat lunch. read more

This building houses a few attractions, such as Soarin', Living On the Land, and Circle of Life. The walk up the hill to the building is a good stretch. We came here to ride Soarin' and Living on the Land. We were here on a November day that was unseasonably warm, even for Orlando. It was nice to be abel to sit down at one of the tables and take a break and soak up the ice cold AC. They've got a couple restaurants inside, I didn't try anything as we'd stuffed our faces in the different country pavilions. read more

If you've ever went past the Land Pavilion at Epcot and wondered, what the Dickens could there be in here that I don't already know about (being we live on Land)? Well, you've got a lot of choices. First, you got the ever spectacular Soarin exhibit, along with a greenhouse (boat) tour that can provide a history of the topiaries here along with some specifications for some external flowering plants. Personally, I think the Living with the Land exhibit is lame, and although I could never face the idea of the motion simulator that is "Soarin", the food here is rather tasty, and whenever we arrive, we always plan to eat SOMETHING here. The lines may make this area popular, but your choices vary though you won't find any "McDonald's" or "Burger King" here. read more
