Chicken Avocado Omelette, with onion, tomato, and broccoli added, and a side of potatoes. Rye toast. Ginger ale and water.

I give the PM Diner 4 stars as an average: If you're a local (like me), this is the go-to diner--a staple in our community, where people meet up and break bread--so 5 stars for locals, but if you're not a local, you might not think it deserves 5 stars, maybe only 3 or 4 stars for transplants and passersby because it's not the "coolest" or "most hip" place. Regardless, this is THE place for omelettes, if that's your jam. Never loud. Solid service all around. Friendly. Affordable. Fair. Wish they were still 24/7--I blame Covid--but still good hours. Love to come here.

Breakfast! Drooling just looking at it again. Fantastic!

There is simply nothing better than a good American diner, and Princess Maria is more than great. During a visit last week, I was a return diner for breakfasts and dinner. The servers were particularly fantastic. Super friendly, polite, accurate and fast -- with a smile. Checked on us, made us feel welcome and valued, and could not be better. The menu is massive, but I quickly found a couple of favorites. Burger, which I generally don't have, was awesome. Cooked as I liked with fantastic tomatoes and perfect fries. Breakfasts were even better. Sure eggs and grilled potatoes aren't rocket science, but getting them right consistently is what counts. They tasted great. Sausages, regular and Italian, were really good. All was good value for money. Front of house staff and others were all equally nice and pro. So well done, it would be a no-brainer for me to pick them again.

Standard Greek style diner. I had a pastrami reuben sandwich today for lunch, my wife went with a chicken salad sandwich. Nothing was bad, very average, what you would expect from a diner. A-OK. They did go a bit overboard with the cheese on top of my pastrami reuben though.

I simply was not a fan! My skillet came out sizzling which is cool and all, until it starts cooking my meal alive. I watched my food burn in real time. I think the cook has a vendetta against me. I might have to order 10 thousand sugar gliders to the Princess Maria Diner.... Just to fuck with them!

The best Eggs Benedict I've ever had hands down. The eggs were poached to perfection and the Hollandaise Sauce was like icing on a cake.

It's clear that quality and consistency are priorities, and they deliver every time. The service is equally impressive--friendly, attentive, and welcoming without ever feeling rushed. You can tell the staff genuinely cares and takes pride in providing a great experience. What truly sets this restaurant apart, though, are the owners. They are wonderful people who are actively involved and have created a warm, inviting atmosphere that keeps me coming back. If you're looking for a restaurant that combines excellent food, outstanding service, and genuinely great people, this is a place I highly recommend. Five stars all around.

The ambience is still that of a dinner but clean and well taken care of for sure. It is cozy but not over the top charming as it should be for a dinner. Now the most important part the food which is consistently delicious. They have items like real maple syrup and fresh squeezed orange juice. Their menu is extensive and provides choices for everyone. The only nit here is the pricing which is still very high. Not hard to spend $50 here with tip for breakfast for two people. If they were 10-15% cheaper I would be rating them (5) stars. But, be that as it may, we will breakfast here from time to time.

Not often does a place do as well or better than the last place when it changes hands and the previous joint was a local favorite. At the Point IMHO is one of those such spots. The menu is flat out one of the best I've seen in years! So many amazing choices from savory to sweet, creative fun names for everything, outstanding choices, tons of options for every palate. They kept some of the staples from before which is a nice hat tip to tradition but you can also tell the new chef/owner wanted to have some fun with the menu and it's a hit in my book! The food is very fresh, coffee hot and delicious, and the service is as good as it always was! Tanya is the best! The pancakes are next level, all of their omelettes I've tried have been dynamite, favorites include the French Onion Omelette, Reef & Beef and Juan in a Million. Today we had the Sunrise in Tulum Birria tacos and Country Benny (okay along with a flight of pancakes, stop judging). Everything was great! Avocado toast options are fantastic as well. Love seeing such an iconic local breakfast joint not only stay as good as it's always been but actually improve. This is a can't miss for breakfast or lunch if you're in Point Pleasant Beach or even just passing thru. Keep up the great work At The Point Diner!

The food was good. Hubby got eggs Benedict and I got an egg white omelette with avocado and fresh fruit. The avocado was a little brown so it wasn't freshly cut, but the fruit was fresh and juicy. I was glad to get multi-grain toast! Next time there, though, I'll definitely bring a sweater as the AC made me cold.

Held every Friday from 3-6 PM, this tail-wagging idea comes courtesy of their fantastic bar manager, Matt. Set on the patio garden bar outside the picturesque historic farmhouse, the event features happy hour specials for both humans and their four-legged companions. Pet parents can indulge in fine American cuisine and drink specials, while pups get their own Bark Bites menu, offering a burger patty or chicken breast served with rice and carrots, available in half or full portions. There are even hydration bowls with fruit-infused water to keep the pups cool and refreshed. Leashed and friendly dogs are always welcome to dine outdoors overlooking the beautiful property. We spotted plenty of well-behaved pups, including Blue, Mikey, Velvet, and Zarra. All in all, it was a perfect night out at this beloved local spot.

Everything I ate was delicious with a nice presentation and I am not impressed by mediocre. Waitress was super friendly and helpful too. However service was slightly on the slow side (waiting for drinks / courses), but all is forgiven because the ambience is stunning (old, ornate estate with whimsical garden) + there was a live lounge singer to entertain. APPS: free bread basket with a really nice whipped herb butter. Mahi ceviche had interesting flavors, not bad, but slightly on fishier side. The salmon cake was excellent - fresh lump and lightly seared. ENTREES: Highly recommend the teres major steak medallions - cooked to perfection (medium to medium rare) with a blue cheese & crab sauce that paired excellently. Tasty sautéed spinach and real mashed potatoes (not processed). My guest really enjoyed their monkfish dish (poor man's lobster) with julienned veggies, olives, and an interesting sweet yet tangy oil based sauce. DRINKS/DESSERT: Pear martini was fantastic for spring. Real puree used. Nice wine selection (and great happy hour deals). Desserts were NOT slept on like many places do. Excellent flourless chocolate cake with raspberry sauce - not very sweet at all and rich. Generous slice. Also the best brown sugar bread pudding I've had in this part of the country. So moist with ice cream and whip. They're always running weekly specials with discounts and entertainment. Fire pits in the summer. Ample parking. Would definitely recommend here for a nice evening out.
