    Breakfast Tostadas
    Leena S.

Kitchen reminds me of your typical NJ Diner with food, ambiance and service on par. The only exception would be that it's priced slightly higher than a Diner. They are definitely short handed, but the staff is very pleasant. My husband ordered the Emerald Isle Breakfast bowl, while I went with the Breakfast Tostadas. My entree was very average and the didn't live up to the description. The tostadas are served on soft tortillas, not crispy corn tortillas. I'm actually surprised at all the 4 and 5 star reviews for this establishment, its fairly middle of the road.

Solid Breakfast at Kitchen 35 . We had the spicy flamenco omelette without cheese and salsa and sour cream on the side ,and the kitchen supreme which was two eggs any style with bacon or sausage , potatos and choice of waffles , pancakes, or French toast . Bacon was crispy and delicious. Definitely returning .

Great service, delicious breakfast, nice portions, very clean......highly recommend! Big inside and a warm welcoming ambiance went on a Saturday morning.

The Kitchen @35 has opened in the last few weeks (Oct 19). It has been the home of quite a few different diners the past two decades. This always come to mind: how long will they last? Physically the layout is about the same as it has been; I guess there's not much you can do it to change it. It still reminds me of the diner. The food is about 10% above what I've had here on several occasions in the past. The pluses are the prices and the service we had in the name of MacKenna. She was a sweetheart. A caveat to the management: Don't do tip monies and cash receipts where customers can readily see this. Its tacky..... do it in the back room.

Skip Brick Diner, skip Rainbow and just go here. Large selection and delicious food. Friendly staff too! Plus a true diner feel.

Food was terrible and very expensive. Enough other choices in the area. $14.95 for bacon and eggs??

I've always heard good things, and I thought the food stood up to the reputation. The restaurant was packed on a Monday night, which was probably a good sign for what led to a delicious meal. I really enjoyed the roasted oysters topped with yummy breadcrumbs. My daughter enjoyed a sushi appetizer and wedge salad with blackened tuna that she claimed was delicious as well. Our other dinner partner enjoyed his halibut. I really loved the show-stopping, gigantic jumbo lump crab meat risotto. It was very filling, but super delicious. The food was rich and, in some ways, basic, but executed perfectly. I added some of the street corn and that really made things even better get this dish. You won't be disappointed. The atmosphere was busy, if not hectic. Our table was in the middle of the room, next to a large family with little kids. One was seven months old and the other was two. That seemed like a bit much for a dinner with these price points. It's not an inexpensive restaurant and certainly not a family-vibe Houlihan's. We had mixed feelings about the atmosphere, but I kind of thought it was cool--a really pretty building with some rustic charm.

He's beyond attentive, knows the menu inside and out, and clearly takes pride in his craft. His Old Fashioned is the best I've ever had--and I've had them everywhere. The martini is equally impressive, with that perfect cloudy glow that only comes from a flawlessly balanced shake. A phenomenal start to the evening. The food more than lives up to the experience at the bar. Every dish is precisely prepared, beautifully executed, and made with abundant, high-quality ingredients. You can taste the care and consistency in every bite. Without question, Shipwreck Grill is one of the best restaurants in Monmouth County. A true standout and a place I'll return to again and again.

Part One: Sunday This review is for two different visits…read morethis past week. One was for this past Sunday. We had Randi as our server and as first time visitors to this Sea Girt location, she helped us get acquainted with the menu and the restaurant as a whole. We were scouting it out for the following day to watch the Knicks Finals game. The restaurant is loaded with screens! They have larger screens on the wall and smaller ones all next to each other above the bar. And they pipe in the game sound once the game starts! So all boxes were checked off for us. We also had a delicious lunch. I had the Apple Salad with grilled chicken. It was fresh as could be, huge and so delicious. One of the best salads I have had in a long time. My husband was just as happy with his Caesar Salad and hamburger patty. He raved about the hamburger meat and we both ate every morsel of our meal. A great location as we just had left the beach and were starving! Randi's service was top notch and she is super nice and friendly. Matt, the Manager also stopped by to check on us and make sure everything was OK, which was great to see. Part Two: Monday The next day, we watched game 3 of the NBA Finals at Tommy's. Now we're already starting to become regulars! We had Julian as our server. Another great Tommy's employee! Turns out he went to high school with our son! Small world. It was our first time watching a game at the restaurant. We had a huge booth and plenty of room. It was drink special night on Monday, so we got 1/2 price specialty cocktails, which was nice. We ordered bar food this time - - wings, brussel sprouts, Caesar salad and margarita pizza, all of which were very good. Very impressed with the wings, that are baked and come with onions and peppers on top. Julian kept our glasses and bellies filled and, even though the Knicks lost, we had an amazing time at Tommy's for the game. Thank you Randi, Julian & Matt for a great week at Tommy's. We will be back soon.

This was suggested to me as a great place to have lunch with family when I was in town recently…read more This establishment is a lot bigger on the inside than you would think plenty of seating areas, TVs and a good sized bar area. The servers were very helpful and friendly, they guided me through all my questions about menu choices. The food was amazing, there was nothing that we ordered that we all didn't love from the Brussels sprout appetizer to a nicely done Cubano sandwich. I understand why it's a local favorite.
