Everyone was pleasant, efficient and caring during my 6 months of Physical Therapy after arthroscopic right shoulder surgery by Dr. Song. Four years ago I had physical therapy at another business but the POA Robbinsville Physical Therapy team is the BEST and I highly recommend the office for their excellent quality of care and support. Thank you to Gina and Dana and office staff for their sense of humor when scheduling my requested mid-day appointment times. And many thanks to Reem and Brent, the therapy assistants, for their professionalism and cheerfulness; pre-therapy session heat, post-session ice, bands/pulleys/bike set-ups and keeping the PT office "ship-shape"! A special thank you to my Physical Therapist Matthew Farag, PT, DPT for always greeting me with a "hello, smile and how are you". With the "how are you" that was a time to update Matt - with concerns or questions. Matt thoroughly explained each therapy exercise and treatment as I progressed over the 50 sessions and taught me the exercises I could also do at home and continue after I was discharged. Sometimes I was worried about my full recovery but Matt was encouraging and positive. While the surgery was on my right shoulder, Dr. Song had diagnosed an impingement on my left that may have required future surgery since it was quite painful. With Matt's knowledge of physical therapies and understanding he helped me to full function on my left shoulder as well as my right. I appreciate Matt's expertise, guidance and professionalism as he worked with me to restore mobility to full range of motion on my shoulders. His kind demeanor was immediately reassuring to me. He explained the type of injury I had sustained and the procedure he was going to perform. The next day while performing his rounds he explained that considering how bad the break was the surgery was successful. The care I received for my follow-up visits was extraordinary. Dr. Hardeski and his team (Sherri , Amanda and Stephanie) went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and helped me keep a positive attitude while I healed. They answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. If I needed anything all I had to do was make a phone call. I am so thankful to Dr. Hardeski and his team. Said to me I can do this surgery but my colleague Dr. Hardeski takes on this kind of traumatic surgery with a high success ratio and was my best chance for recovery to get back to a normal life. When I got a chance to meet him. I said to him I herd your Dr. Strange who happened to be a super surgent that became a super hero. Even though he lookes a lot like Eyegore from Young Frankenstein. I didn't let that bother me to much. Because he was professional and was able to communicate to me on a blue collar level. He reconstructed my ankle back with 12 screws and 3 plates with a wink of an eye and was able to run right out to my car afterwards. Before my first visit, I requested them to give me an estimate of the cost. They estimated the cost to be $75 each for the first two visits and $20 for the third visit onwards. I had 5 visits and expected the bill to be roughly $210. But I received a bill of more than $500. I called them and asked how can the actual cost be so much more than the estimate. They said "Oh---that was an estimate". I said "Given that your estimate is less than 50% of the actual, can you take responsibility and give me a discount?" They said "You signed papers that stated that you are responsible for all costs. We can't give you any discount." Thus, they lured me in by giving me a lowball estimate and extracted $500 without really doing much. If you have a lot of extra money, then go ahead to Ivy. Otherwise, look for a better place with more honest and sympathetic people.

A month later, and I have received a bill for $173.00. Each procedure they did was billed separately and charged to me. I have been to physical therapy before and never had electronic stimulation or an ultrasound for lower back pain charged separately. The problem is that they don't tell you these are discrete charges or that you should check with your insurance. Moral of the story is that this provider is trying to charge for all possible billable service and that potential clients need to check before visiting here. CAVEAT EMPTOR.
