I also had a couple fillings done with Dr. Taba after the exam. He was gentle, straight to the point, and I honestly don't even notice the fillings at all. Really solid work. Becky was the sweetest assistant. She offered me a blanket and turned on the massage chair to keep me comfortable the whole time. Small things but they made a big difference. Also, the office view is insane! Gorgeous lake view really calmed my nerves. I was literally watching bald eagles flying and hunting over the water during my appointment. I originally looked up and booked an appointment here for my husband who refuses to go to a doctor or dentist when he's in pain and they were able to get him in and when I went inside to pay for his visit, they got me to book an appointment for a cleaning (Lord knows I was well overdue for one because I have the worst teeth issues since I was young). My husband has a female dentist at the time but I was scheduled with Dr. Jason Byun. Anyways, I've been here for maybe a little over a year now with my regular cleanings, deep cleanings, more major procedures and every time they have all been so kind and they really listen to you when you're describing the issues you have. And when you're someone like me with a history of problems... it's really nice of them to genuinely care for their patients. Today I went in for another cleaning and Leila was just very knowledgeable and helpful answering questions as to what is happening inside my mouth rather than the usual "make sure you brush your teeth and floss". That's when Creekside unexpectedly reached out just to see how we were doing. When I explained the situation, they went off and found out they were now in network for my current plan. I only scheduled an appointment at this office because I specifically asked the receptionist during…read morea 5-10 minute phone conversation whether they had a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) who performs cleanings. She confirmed that they did. That was the deciding factor in scheduling my appointment because I was only looking for an office where an RDH performs cleanings. Had the receptionist been transparent that the cleaning would instead be performed by a dental assistant and the dentist, I would have booked somewhere else. The appointment started in the waiting room, where I was questioned about why I was there, which I found bizarre. My appointment clearly showed that I was a new patient scheduled for a cleaning, exam, and X-rays. The dental assistant never introduced herself or explained her role. After I asked where the RDH was, she became defensive. During the cleaning, she repeatedly hit my teeth with metal instruments, which made me uncomfortable. She also attempted to use a plastic floss threader between my gums instead of regular floss. I was concerned this could injure my gum tissue, so I stopped her after she had done this on my upper back molars. After that, the dentist spent about five minutes performing the actual cleaning. It felt rushed and was uncomfortable. I did not feel that I received a thorough cleaning compared with previous cleanings I have had from registered dental hygienists or dentists. I left feeling traumatized, misled, and concerned about the condition of my teeth after they were repeatedly struck and after the floss threader was used on my gums. Throughout the entire visit, there was no apology or accountability for the late appointment, the misinformation provided by the receptionist, or my concerns about the cleaning process. In my previous experiences at dental offices, every staff member has introduced themselves and explained their role. My X-rays and cleanings have been performed by an RDH, who typically spends about an hour with me, followed by a dental exam from the dentist lasting approximately 10-15 minutes. That was the level of care I expected when I scheduled this appointment.

Mandy was able to get my mom in quickly and I am so grateful she did. My mom, who is a senior, and who has had really bad. dental experiences her whole life, and has always been afraid of going to the dentist, was treated with love, respect, and warmth. I think my mom almost cried when she left because she could not believe how kind the entire team was to her. We went back for several follow up visits and the team only became more wonderful and caring. She literally looked forward to every single time she got to go because of their character and quality of care. After seeing this experience over the last few months, I switched to their office as a new patient as well. I had an incredibly wonderful visit, with everyone from Mandy at the front desk, to the hygienist to Dr. Tremblay. They truly care about their patients, provide all the information you need, and are truly one of a kind practice. I genuinely cannot recommend a dental office more highly.
