I've been using Printefex since 2009 for business cards, stationary, banners, photos, and holiday cards. Each time, I'm reminded of why I keep going back--spectacular service, amazing quality, and great prices. I'm writing today because my fiancée and I waiting until the last minute to do our holiday cards--other printers told us if we had them in early this morning, we'd have our cards by the end of the week next week. Not Printefex. We sent in our file, saw the proof, and less than an hour later, had 500 holiday cards hot off the press--and they look great! Terrible experience today. Went back after several years and they will never see me again. We had a small set of pictures to print, we ordered them this morning, and were supposed to be ready by 5.30. When we showed up, they weren't ready. OK, no problem, I can wait a little. Then they asked me to pay before I actually saw the pictures, which I did, but I thought was weird. When we finally got the pictures, they had cropped them to make them fit the size we had chosen. To be fair, I haven't ordered prints in a store in the longest time, so maybe it was our fault. Still I wanted to understand if there was a better way to print the pictures so that they would be faithful to the original shots. The technician was trying to help me out, and I was willing to re-pay the price of a better reprint, when the owner started very aggressively telling me that I only had two choices: with the border or without it. He interrupted his employee, who was trying to help, and was extremely rude to me. All of this in front of my 10 year old daughter. These pictures were for her school project. I guess a small set of 3-4 bucks school project pictures weren't worth his time. Too bad. I'll take my business, even if small, somewhere else, and I suggest you do too. read more

I went to Printefex in La Canada to pick up my photo Christmas cards today and had a most unpleasant experience. The owner, Erik, had taken it upon himself, on the basis of his vastly superior taste and expertise, to lighten the photograph so that the photo looked as though it had been taken in bright sunlight in the middle of summer. We had taken pains to dim the wall sconces and ambient light and light candles, to achieve a more wintry feel. When I voiced my objection, he spent the next five to ten minutes berating our photo in a very loud voice, saying repeatedly that it was a "horrible" photo that he would be ashamed to send to anyone, and many more insulting attacks. In the future, I will gladly drive miles farther to do business with someone who deserves it, not one who insults me. read more

I dropped in Printefex for the first time to quickly print out an invitation. I brought my own paper. I didnt think the cost would be much as it was less than 30 color print outs and I provided my own paper. The girl who helped me was nice and pleasant. I was not quoted a price before hand and was completely shocked when I was charged more than double what I would have paid at Kinkos. As much as I hate to admit it, it is hard to support small businesses when you get ripped off. I feeI taken advantage of, and wont be going back. read more

After being disappointed with the quality of CVS prints, I had my photos printed by Printefex. Dramatic difference! The photo color and clarity were SO much better. I will continue to use Printefex to print out all my photos! You can upload your photos on their website and then you will receive an email when they are ready to be picked up (usually within a few hours). read more

Not sure what all these reviews are about. I called to get a simple quote and the service was terrible. Most places I called previously just gave me info within 30 seconds and that was it. This place a lady answers the phone, I give her the info and ask for a quote. I get placed on hold for quite a while and then hung up on. I call back and a man answers and is trying to figure out who I spoke to. Get placed on hold again only for the lady to come back on the line, no apology for waiting and being hung up on and give me the 2 second answer to my question n hang up. Horrible customer service. I guess I now know who not to give my business to in the future. read more

Eric, Sylvia and Alfred are helpful and work with you until you get what you want. I practice as holistic physical therapist and recently opened my Nuve Therapeutics business. From small orders to large orders they are with you every step of the way. This helps marketing my business more efficiently and enjoyably. They make you feel welcomed and treat you with respect. At times my orders get delayed because of miscommunication between both party's but nonetheless you receive your order within allotted time. I continue and will continue to print with them because they get the job done and they have excellent costumer service. The quality is also great!!! Printefex is a great neighborhood printer. They handle all jobs from printing out 1 or 2 pictures to thousands of copies or flyers for businesses. Really - why would anyone go anywhere else for printing? Yes, their prices are MUCH cheaper than most printing shops (10 cents per page for heavy stock paper vs 19 cents at Kinkos!), but even beyond their prices this is a business that is all about outstanding customer service. Their manager Ana dropped everything to help me with a massive printing order and she was happy to do it! The job was perfectly done and I actually enjoyed my time there while waiting for the copying. Knowledgeable staff and welcoming service! Hands down the best, most reliable, and just great time management printing shop and probably any type of business I have ever dealt with, hands down. I went in to Printefex on a Wednesday in the late afternoon wanting 3x8 banner printed for a birthday party I was throwing for my boss with my co-workers. I thought they would say "Yeah, we can do that, it'll take us till Friday afternoon, you can pick it up then if you'd like." Above and beyond are the only words I can use right now to describe their incredible service. I don't do this often, but I felt compelled to write about the amazing and personal service I consistency get from them. I work with them often, for both personal and professional projects, and am always happy with their quality and service. But last week, they went above and beyond! had a huge event that started at 7:00 am on Saturday. At 5:30 Friday night, we discovered that our main piece of signage, a 4 foot by 12 foot color banner, was missing. I was in a panic and told them what I needed. I was able to get them new artwork, and they stayed well after the shop was technically closed (6pm) to get the banner recreated for us. And on top of that, they even delivered it to my front doorstep. The new banner was hung by 6:00 am and ready to go for our 7:00 am registration. I have been in the business for a long time, and don't many other places that would have done this.
