Great service, price, and quality. Locations: I originally was at the Glendale lab (also printing business cards), but the photo machine was in the process of being replaced. So thankfully here is this second location-not too far apart. Maybe less than a 10 minute drive without traffic. Service and Quality: I was invited to have my work displayed on the last minute and needed them on the same day. I got lost on the way, and they were extremely friendly guiding me. When I wasn't satisfied with the first print with a bit of magenta on a blk and wht photo, they were willing to print another one for me. Printed photo look as it did on the computer. Both locations are great. They did everything they can to help meet my deadlines. I also have my project printed here-a background for a sculpture and looked really realistic. When I posted my piece online, my friends thought it was real. I have a friend who paid just $5 less to have her background printed at Fed Ex, and quality was a bit muddy. So it is worth the drive. read more

Since we live close to the location we decided to take our business here instead of taking to Glendale or Burbank. Long story short my wife dealt directly with the owner Eric,and on not two, but four occasions did he not have the order ready. I guess our job wasn't big enough to garner the attention needed. I have used printefex for my business printing they are so helpful and flexible and do rapid response quality work like no other. I feel so comfortable in their creative atmosphere. They employ commercial artists who can help you through rush projects I have used them for catalogs ,posters ,promotional goods, stationery, labels ,business cards . Prior to that I used them for non profit projects for huntington hospital and golden retriever rescue, most importantly. raffle tickets ,programs, event promotion, posters . Personally for my daughters birthday invitations and work on school fundraising. Alfred even put a piece of my daughters large art into a pdf for her college art supplement for creative entry on college apps.I was out of town and they handled it with ease. I went there with a job of making duplicate prints on some old photos and new photos. I also wanted them to make a CD, which they told me they "always do". I was told I would be able to have the pictures by Christmas, Christmas came and went. When I called to get status, the guy was just working on them that day. This was the Wednesday after Christmas. I was told they would be ready by closing. I got there at 5:45 and proceeded to hand my stub with my order # on it to the lady behind the desk. She shrugged me off and said, "I don't need that, what was in the order?" Seriously, how the do they keep track of orders? She found my order and it was done right, however, it did not have a CD with it. She told me to come back and ask for it. I haven't gone back. Everyone's time is to valuable to have to deal with this sort of business. My brother took the photos to ScanMyPhotos, super easy, online ordering, he got a CD, and you can throw everything in a prepaid box or boxes and pay a flat fee. They are nice and professional! Printefex is not worth the trouble, it's yet another La Canada business that lacks customer service skills. read more

Stellar work on repairing and retouching an old photo that had so much damage to it I thought it was a lost cause. What I got back was a beautiful photo that had absolutely no traces of any scratches or damage. This was a photo that was at least 50 years old and was nearly unusable because of damage. I don't even know where to start with my review. I have been coming to Printefex for over two years now. I don't even know why I never came here earlier. Well known in the community for there work. As a business owner, I can say, Erik has picked the best staff members and I mean best. There is nothing this company isn't able to make. All items i have order have been custom designed by their graphic designer, edited if needed, and printed in either La Canada store or their Glendale location. They send you an email of the proof and you send your finally approval and after that, your order is ready in either hours, or a day or two. They are super fast and like their work prefect. Printefex has made gift cards, printed banners, printed flyers, photos (which is amazing quality and I know local photographers who only use them), they have blown up photos for me bigger then 5 feet tall, fixed antique photos and restored it with a cd copy, I have made multiple invitations, napkins with company logos, and I can say the list goes on and on. This is a small business I love and give my business too. If you meet the owner, you can tell he works with all his heart. He makes sure everyone is happy. This place is always busy. Everyone loves them. Great service. Great quality. Products that last. If you haven't gone, you must try them. read more

I had work done by Printefex a few years ago. They did nice work and their price was competitive. I returned last week to get headshots printed. They quoted me a price of .85 per print. I picked up my prints on Saturday and when I got home I realized they had charged me $1.50 per print. When I spoke to Eric he told me that I had to have been mistaken and that was indeed the correct price. He offered me a $120 credit toward future work but I won't go back to a business that practices "bait and switch!" I could have had them done for less than 1/2 the money but I thought I was doing a good thing by giving my business to a small independent. Wrong!! I worked in sales for many years and you can always tell a scammer because they just keep talking over you when you're trying to present your case.
