Everything was original and the caps needed to be replaced. He also offered to replace the lights with new LED. LED is great because they last longer and don't produce heat. Well I picked up the unit but realized the LED lights were much brighter than before. Hans offered to open the unit back up and bring the lights down a bit. Well now it looks amazing. It looks like I just opened it out of the box in 1972. In addition to looking new it also sounds amazing! The pots have no crackle, the bass response is perfect, it's like a brand new unit. Good work takes time, and this refurbish took about 3-4 weeks but it was well worth the wait. If you've got vintage equipment take it here for sure!

Had to wait another 2 months for the 'Warranty' repair to be completed. After 3 months, I had to call several times for a status/update, always with the same response: 'Waiting on the part'. Within 2 weeks after the 3 months, finally got a call it was ready. 3. Went to pick it up, and was told I owed $30.00, for parts. Asked why since it was returned within the warranty period, now get this, "it was out of Warranty"...ya see how this works now! 4. Sooo...after taking my tape deck home, after the 'Warranty' repair, discovered the tape deck was severely scratched across the surface face. 5. Finally. After 2 days of playing tapes, tape deck didn't work, again, severely dragging. I reported the issue and asked for them to fix, guess what, it was "Out of Warranty". Stated if I wanted it fixed, they will charge me again! In conclusion, you might be better off going to a more reliable & responsible vintage stereo service.

I called Laguna Hills Tech Access both times, because I am simply just too busy to fix them myself as my life is way too busy with taking care of my kids and having a full work schedule. The first time I called, I needed to have my motherboard replaced and new RAM (those are sticks of memory that go on the motherboard) installed on my HP laptop. My computer was constantly freezing and sometimes failed to get to the startup screen, along with a couple things more. One of the owners, Matt, came out promptly and treated me very well. I actually pretended I didn't know anything because I didn't have the energy to speak tech with him (lol sorry!). Not knowing that I know much about computers, he in no way belittled me for my "lack of knowledge." He was very cordial and encouraging. The second time, my Dell Inspiron was having problems stuttering while playing videos of my kids and husband playing together, among some other issues. My freezer department was failing to remain frozen. The upper ice maker also had stopped working, but it was a secondary issue. Elad diagnosed the issue and gave me an estimate for the freezer department repair. Parts were ordered on a Thursday and the repair was completed on the next Tuesday. Elad also told he believed the ice maker would start working within a week, as he felt the repair completed were related. He also gave me a second estimate in case it didn't but suggested I wait. The ice machine started making ice after 5 days which was a great ending. Very impressed with this company and Elad.
