Bam bam bam bam bam...that was the sound of my heart when I realized what had happened...a large Americano with sugar free vanilla not in my cup anymore. And no, it wasn't because I drank it. It was because it was all over my computer! I went immediately to Yelp (not on the coffee computer obviously) and started calling repair shops. It was early so a lot of places weren't open but then I called Next IT Solutions & Computer Repair. They asked me a couple diagnostic questions then told me to make sure it was turned off, turn it upside down, try to get the battery out immediately and then bring it in. I followed their directions to the best of my ability and then drove to La Habra. The shop is easy to find as it is right across from Costco and in the 7-11 parking lot. When I got inside, I was surprised at how clean the place was. Every computer repair place I have ever been to is a mess of components, paperwork etc. Next IT Solutions is pristine. Anyway, they had me enter my information at a kiosk in the front and then I immediately received a trouble ticket via text. They do a free diagnostic and then call you with their recommendation for work. In my case, they were able to do a simple clean-up and it was only $50. The process was absolutely painless and my computer is good as new. I will never go anywhere else for my computer needs! 5 stars for a 10-star experience. read more

My heart dropped when I pulled my laptop from my purse and felt some moisture. The water bottle I had placed in my bag wasn't closed tightly, and water leaked onto my precious expensive MacBook Air. I tried several techniques to fix it, but to little avail. I called Next IT for a quote, and of the three places I called, the person I spoke to from Next IT seemed the most professional and helpful. So, I drove a half hour to LA Habra. The staff member greeted me warmly, and he checked me in quickly. Throughout the process, the staff kept me updated through texts and phone calls. I appreciated how easy it was to communicate with them. I picked up my laptop a little over a week later, and I was grateful for their early hours because I was able to stop in before work. The cost ended up being about half of what I was quoted by Apple, and that includes a new battery. I used both the Yelp check-in deal and $20 for $35 deal, and I was pleased that the staff allowed me to use both. So far, my laptop is working like it used to! Hopefully I'll never have to visit Next IT again (definitely never putting any liquids near my laptop), but if I have to I would return for their professional service! read more

Still haven't gotten any redemption for the lies and unethical business practices of the employees of this company. They give me the old, "We fired those people." story, but I don't think they have. I still recognize Brittany's voice on the answering machine. Jeremy said he would give me gift cards to make up for my bad treatment. That didn't happen. He said they couldn't help me directly because they only work with businesses now. I don't understand why a business knowledgeable enough to work with large companies can't honor the commitments made to me. Am I too small to matter? That's how I feel. I had a portal for my individual account which showed emails, promised completion times, pick up dates, et centra. I copied all of my correspondence from the portal. This was altered by Next IT when I started contacting them because I didn't get what I paid for. All of the specifics, including computer size, were removed. All that remained were generic things such as times the computer would be ready for pickup, and basic nondescript emails. Anyway, I digress. I continued to call, asking Next IT to make it right. The last two times I called, it was made clear that, although I seemed like a really nice person, they didn't want me to call about this issue anymore. I was asked what I wanted to satisfy me. Then I was transferred to someone to help get my old computer fixed, or at least get the new computer set up properly. Nobody answered either call, and I left messages that were never answered. Since I was transferred, I couldn't call back, and it was very clear Next IT didn't want to talk to me about it again, and they were not going to make it right. read more

It was my first time here and I had a custom built and they diagnose it for $60, usually it's free diagnose for regular brand computer such as dell. However, great cheap and the best customer service ever. I was stuck in traffic for almost like 1hr and 48 minutes to get here, they called me back and I was in luck that they were still here and wait for me until 5:30. Among all my computer purchasing experiences, this place was the best for me. My old gaming computer was about to go really bad, so I decided to buy new gaming computer. Then I've found this place from yelp, and I visited this place since I live near. Right off the bat, Ryan was super helpful and nice. Seriously, he was the nicest computer tech i've ever met. Anyway, I told him that I wanted a gaming desktop with specific features. He put down all my requests with ease, and he sent me a quote after about 2 hours through my email. I am not gonna lie, the price was not inexpensive, but it was still much better than pre-built desktop. (my budget was around 1500) My computer took him about 7 days (ordering all the parts and building). So if you are buying their assembled computer, expect to get yours after about 1 week. Overall, I really like this place. I'm planning to do all my upgrades from this place. Went there to fix my damaged external hard drive. Used Yelp to put in a request for quote and received a response from Josiah in 15 min. I was told to bring it in and they would run a free diagnosis. The hard drive was damaged beyond their capabilities but they were able to send it to a third party clean room restoration company. The initial cost estimate was really expensive. But it was within 1% of the other 3 companies I called for an estimate. Josiah was able to help get me a discount since I had an extra hard drive they could clone the data to. The repair process took about 3 weeks to complete and Josiah and his team helped keep track of the status and provided me with updates every couple of days. The overall experience was perfect and everything I expected after reading other reviews. I would highly recommend them if you ever need some sort of computer related repair. Wow how could someone leave a review that is negative for these guys? They have done nothing but stellar repairs since i've first been to the store over a year and a half ago. Not only do they give free diagnostics on computer repair but they even let people do the yelp deal again. Doesn't make sense to me, I will never use another computer repair company then Next IT solutions even if I have to drive far from a city like anaheim it is well worth the drive. This is in response to this review: So basically, it's a really long story but since I have my laptop fixed and I can type it instead of pecking away at my iPad, I will post the entire story. My laptop failed to turn on after I didn't use it for a month. I assumed it was the battery and bought a new one and installed it myself. Still, the same problem ensued. Next IT was one of the highest rated computer repair shops I found near me and on top of that they were open late and had free diagnostics. I dropped off my laptop on 7/20 and waited for the call. Justin called me back on 7/25 telling me that my laptop needed a tune-up and had malware. He quoted me $160, ($65 for one process and $95 for the other). I didn't want to get my computer fixed, but I have a lot of important files/documents on it and rationalized that I could pay $160 for my memories back. I confirmed with him twice and he assured me the computer would be fixed the same day. I headed to the shop after work and after I told them my pick-up info, they looked frazzled. I could hear them talking in the back about how no one fixed it. However, when they came to tell me, they said my computer had more serious issues that they thought. Weird, right? I understand that people make mistakes and if it were the case where they simply forgot to fix it, I would have been okay with that. Human error happens, I get it. I was disappointed because I felt like they were lying about it, but that could just be that I am overly suspicious of people. Anyways, I came back the next day after the other owner called me saying the job was done (for real). Notes: -The guys working there were kinda awkward, but it could just be because they're typical it/tech guys. -I have all my Google chrome browsers synced across all devices and I could see what they were using my browser for from another computer. They were googling stuff on how to fix my computer. Awkward. -They honored the Yelp discount and took off an additional $20. -Told them at drop off that I installed the new battery, but the guy at pickup made it seem like they installed the old battery I dropped off with my laptop. So I have no idea which battery is inside my laptop... Conclusion: They got the job done and my laptop works so whatever. 3/5. read more

It was MONDAY the lifeblood of my business, my computer was not working. I spammed about 7 computer repair centers through yelp and got quick responses from all. Many wanted to beat around the bush about a quote and some wanted to charge me for a diagnostic! -Uhh so you want me to drive my precious computer to you, have you tinker with it and tell me how much I will pay for you to take your time figuring out whats wrong with it AND then pay you ransom to fix it? No thanks! I don't feel like getting ripped off!! Enter Next IT solutions! Josiah emailed me back giving me preliminary information and letting me know the diagnostic was free. He asked for my number and promptly gave me a call. We went over all expected and possible costs; he was very thorough with his breakdown, took his time to patiently and courteously answer my many questions (didn't rush me off the phone or sound too busy like some others). I drove about 15 minutes past closest computer repair joint and dropped my computer off. I was well received when I came to drop my computer off. They gave me a check in number and let me know they would be updating me on progress via email and phone (texts and calls). Personally dealt with Steve, he was a very friendly and knowledgable professional who broke down what needed to be done with my iMac. I don't trust people with my stuff, especially with anything related to my FAMILY or BUSINESS. I do now trust Next IT thanks to their attention to the details, excellent follow up and customer service.
