Avoid traps like the UPS store that are always in dysfunction and places like FedEx office which really needs to burn to the ground. What a disgrace. Updating my review.. The owner contacted me letting me know the issue, and offered credit to try their services again. I didn't used take him up on the credit, but decided to give these guys another shot. The customer service was much better. They turned something around for me same day at a reasonable price. Print quality was pretty good for the price. All and all, I'm chalking off my last experience with a fluke. --------------------------------- I don't typically leave negative reviews, but wanted to warn other yelpers about their customer service via email; Judging by their other yelp reviews, if you go into the physical retail location, the service seems like it might be fine. Anyways, I emailed them one week before I needed a job done, and they gave me an incredibly competitive quote. They stated that their turn around time would be one week, given the holidays. I agreed to the turn around time, emailed my files, and asked if there was anything else I needed to do to finalize the process. No response. I emailed them a day later to followup, and they said that I needed to send individual files for a 2 sided print. I corrected the files, sent them over and I asked if they needed anything else. No response again. I figured that they were busy, and checked back in with them a day before they were due for pick up, only to find out there was another issue with my files. At that time, they told me that they needed an additional 3 days to finish print, and doubled the price because it was a "rush job". I continued to trust the quality of the print job due to the reviews, and said that the new price was fine. However, after calling them 4 times today, only to have them say that they'd call me back in "5 minutes" and never call, I'm giving up. Really bad customer service. If i ever try these guys again, I'll update my review. Hopefully, by then, it'll be more positive. read more

I was in a search for a print shop that could provide everything I needed in one stop. I am local photographer in the Los Angeles area who had recently left a big company to work solo. I needed support terms of getting my business created and recognized. But, it was hard to find a print shop that had an in-house graphic and web designer to collaborate ideas with and help me see the vision with samples being provided. If I could give negatives stars to this place I would! It took them 3 days to get me a simple quote which wasn't even what I asked for. I had to have conversations with three different people and none of whom seemed to be sharing with the other what I last discussed with each. Needed some high quality prints of my wedding photos. After I was finally able to get down to the shop and drop off the cd with the pictures on it, I was given a simple and straightforward quote within minutes, the guy at the counter (forgot his name) was helpful and thorough in making this a simple transaction. He told me the pictures would be available Wednesday afternoon ( I came in on Monday afternoon). At noon today, Tuesday, I was called and emailed to inform me the pictures were done. My experience with Printing Fly was so good that it left me in the strange position of wishing I had more work to give them. (We will, undoubtedly, in the future.) Our restaurant needed a banner to be prepared ASAP to announce something to our customers. I went to 5 different places, getting quotes from $325 upward, and estimates of 3-7 days. Then I stopped into Printing Fly, because they had helped me out several weeks earlier when I needed a flyer printed the same day. Roy said they would design it and produce it within 2-3 days, for $170. He obviously listened well to what I told him, because his first draft was pretty much exactly what we needed.
