Please don't order here! I used this company as my go to print services for over 10 years and for the first couple of years they were great. The last few years they have grown increasingly worse so the lack of communication, response to emails, and it's almost impossible to get someone on the phone. Last year in May I ordered postcards that cost me $135 and I still haven't received any feedback from my order, no follow up call or email, and no refund. It's a 45 minute drive to their office from my home one way and I drove there 2x in June during their hours they posted for service and no one was there or either answered the door. All I want as this point is my refund but I will have to wait until I am in the area and hope to catch them if they are there. read more

After several emails, they said it was a mistake on their side, so they reprinted for free but made the same mistake again! I made a print order using their online platform- trying to get items for a show opening. the prints arrived well past the opening date- i think I was likely cutting it close when I submitted images, so I dont hold that against them. but when the prints arrived they were all shifted darker and greyer than my images, making them useless as prints of my artwork. I expressed that these were not useful to me- in response the company offered to reprint the images, but said I should submit all the images in CMYK format and I should resize all the images To a specific size. since I had used their online platform to submit/review the prints in the first place, and we were now several weeks after the opening, the process had meant that I was essentially out $130+ and was being told to do more work, so I could get prints that had already missed the time when I could have sold them. If the manual sizing and formatting was required to match my submitted images, that should have been required up front, not offered after the fact. i asked for a refund, explaining that being asked to do more work to get prints that i can't really expect to sell just didn't make sense- and I did not get a response. after repeated attempts to follow up I'm pretty frustrated and don't plan on using this company again. read more

This company does keep their word when it comes to affordable prices and good paper stock. Just don't expect your prints to show up on time, in full, oriented correctly, or centered properly. We made a mistake while ordering last year, so our prints finally showed up the day after the event we ordered them for. Decided to give them another chance this year, and we got 3/4 of the prints we paid for. Off-center, zoomed in, an entire design missing. Printkegs customer service goes above and beyond and never fails. Even in these uncertain times, they are still on top of their customer service. In business, you will never be able to please everyone and there will be some customers who create problems and post bogus claims of bad customer service. Was a customer for 9 years. The 3x4 "Snazzy Card" was even named after our business. Service was never great but they got the job done well enough when pushed. Last two orders were over a month late. They actually lost the last one. They could care less and then canceled the order when I gave them hell for it. Cost us thousands of dollars in lost orders because we did not have the packaging. I don't normally share negative reviews but this has been a really frustrating experience working with PrintKeg. I have worked with them in the past and it's been 75% positive so I know it's not always like this. I ordered a very large order of prints in textured paper with a two day turnaround and after a week I finally emailed and asked what the ETA was on it. They replied saying it could be weeks before they get textured paper back in stock (without letting me know??) They asked if I wanted to print with matte or gloss and I said matte if they could ensure the quality/vibrancy would be comparable. They said yes and after another 5 days and emails of me checking on the status, they finally shipped the order. I finally got the matte in and it's not comparable to the textured at all. I have emailed several times to at least get a refund on the extra hundreds of dollars I paid for textured and get ghosted. The only times I have heard replies have been "our billing team is aware and are working on it." I honestly don't believe them at this point and feel like I just wasted a ton of money. Very sad because I've liked them in the past! After reading other reviews, other people have had similar experience with the customer service and being "ghosted." I have indeed also been ghosted while they offer a "100% satisfaction" guarantee- what they don't mention is they won't reply to any dissatisfaction. read more

We are a small business and have found Printkeg to be 'OK'. We truly have had mixed experiences with them. Their art prints have good quality and are decently priced. We have been ordering art prints regularly with them. Their postcards however are very cheap. We have recently tried them on a relatively big postcard order (for us) and found their quality sub-par. While they were able to get the colors/vibrancy right, the thickness of their postcards is much lower than offered by other printers. We tried to reach out and see if they could help resolve it, we, however, have been 'ghosted'. After a couple of initial responses, the customer service just stopped responding. We lost a major revenue and had to refund our customer. In return, Printkeg has not acknowledged/refunded any bit. read more

I was excited to find PrinKeg because of how inexpensive they are. But, in the end they are just too difficult to work with. Basically, the sizes they offer for prints are not what you receive, it's the size of the paper they are printing on. I recently ordered 11x14 prints of an oil painting image. Because I've had issues ordering from them in the past, I tried to confirm that the image itself would be 11x14 to fit into standard matting/framing. Unfortunately, their art staff was unable to accommodate this request. They kept sending me cropped or shrunken images of my art for approval. I even offered to pay more for them to print it out on larger paper so the image would be the size I wanted, but they refused. So I had to cancel my order. Went with another company which cost a little more but was much easier to deal with and personally emailed me to confirm the size of the image would be 11x14. read more

Updating my previous review: After ordering prints, being told my files weren't downloading, sending new files, the company dealing with Hurricane Dorian evacuation, me cancelling my yet untouched order because the deadline for me passed, requesting a refund, and being frustratingly ghosted, thus leaving a 1 star review, I've finally been refunded and am changing my review to 3 stars. My refund request was acknowledged on 9/6, but no action was taken. After multiple calls (you will not get anyone to pick up the phone if you call them), requests for status updates, etc, I ended up sending another, not so pleased email asking what the problem was. Finally I got a response, and today, 9/13, the funds are back in my bank account. So, I'm happy that I've been refunded, but I still wouldn't recommend going with a company that has this much trouble responding to customers in a timely manner, unless you have ample time and resources at your disposal. I'm sure that they're nice, and it could be residual issues arising from the hurricane evacuation, but I'm not convinced that the service would be remarkable if I tried them again. read more

I really don't remember how I stumbled upon this company online but I'm so glad I did! I pretty much outsource for all of my graphic design projects and I choose printkeg because the quality is similar to a nearby shop here and waaaay more affordable. They don't have sales too too often, but that's okay, because they're prices are cheap! (Which is what they praise ‍). I've had invitations, business cards, and portfolios all printed from here and the quality was awesome. Only had 1 minor print job fluke and they replaced the damaged prints at no charge! Also, they're shipping is freaky fast. So for instance, I'm gonna place an order today, my client will likely receive their prints by Friday! (If Thursday wasn't a holiday he'd probably get them then). And they also have a blind shipping option, which is so handy and only $2. I love yall read more

I used PrintKEG strictly for a print job. I'm pretty fastidious and particular about design, so I took care of that aspect myself. I ordered my huge print about a week before I needed it. The transaction was seamless. A few days later, I received my poster. I will say, my poster seemingly went through several disgruntled postal employees and a rhino before it made it to me. The tubing was crushed, the inside cushioning was crushed and the poster itself was wrinkled / dented at the same point of impact as the outer shells. I informed PrintKEG of the condition in which my print arrived, since they were thoughtful enough to inquire. While I didn't require a replacement, they were quick to offer one with expedited shipping at no extra cost. I didn't take them up on it because I was able to smooth out the poster on my own, but I thought it great customer service on their part. I wouldn't hesitate to use PrintKEG for another massive poster printing job. I just hope they start using steel shipping rods. read more

Mixed review. If you have an order that is ready to go (e.g., you've already designed it), it's a cinch to print and they are fast! I got a confirmation of my order within 24 hours of placing it and it arrived a day or two later. The print was of high quality at a very affordable price. Score! However, if you need their designers to help create something, in my case the flyer I had printed I needed modified to a post card, it took over two weeks and I missed one of my deadlines to distribute. Embarrassing to say the least. That is not fast turnaround in my book. If I knew this, I would have spent time transferring the images myself (that's all I needed) and saved on the extra charge to get speedy printing. Needless to say, this part of the experience was very disappointing. All in all, the quality was good and the prices were cheap. Just make sure everything is ready and you just need to print. I placed an order for a large poster (36"x48"), on 10/7/12 and received it on 10/16/12. The poster is for a conference I have on 10/24/12, so I made sure to have it printed early so I would have enough time to receive it. I did receive it on time via ground shipping, but the quality of the print is terrible. I used my own template and sent it to the art department, but the entire poster looks like it is fuzzy, and being for an optometry conference, it's just not going to cut it. I know the template I used should be clear when printed this size because I had my poster printed last year at FedEx Kinkos with the exact same size and type font and it came out beautifully. The color images on this PrintKEG poster came out okay, but the black and white images are very blurred. I emailed PrintKEG on Tuesday to see if they would reprint it and if I would be able to have the poster in my hands by next Tuesday, but have not received a response. I emailed again today with the same concern and asked if I could be refunded for what I paid if it isn't possible to receive the poster by then, but still have not received a response. I called and left a message just now, so we will see if I get a response out of that. I even made sure to send pictures comparing the clarity of the two posters side by side so there is no question about the difference in quality. I am really starting to worry that I was scammed of my money and that I will have to pay for my poster to be printed somewhere else. I'll update this post if I ever get a response from PrintKEG. Update 10/18/12: Speak of the devil! As soon as I posted this, I received an email. They are looking into the print to see if the file was set up correctly, and say I should have an update this afternoon. They are also keeping my deadline in consideration. This rating goes up to 2 stars for now, with room for improvement. Update 10/19/12: PrintKEG emailed again, saying the Art Department fixed the issue with the image and is sending me a reprinted poster, 2-day air so I can receive it by Tuesday. read more

I recently ordered from PrintKeg and my large prints were horrible. There were rough edges along the sides of the paper (presumably left after they were cut) and the overall images were blurry. It also looked quite lackluster and unattractive for an art gallery. I have been sending the emails and voicemails about a refund but no one at PrintKeg has emailed me back yet. In addition, the product arrived two days later than expected. I will not be ordering from them again. I just want my refund back and I am tiring of waiting for a response. read more

I found their template easy to use so when my artwork was complete on my end, I just had to upload, preview on-line, and wait for delivery. I've used PrintKEG at least five or six times - usually for postcard printing. And, in terms of cost and quality, PrintKEG spins out the best combination. If you have a completed piece and you need quantity in the hundreds or thousands, it's definitely worth a look. Note: I've never had the PrintKEG team design something for me, so I have no clue how that process goes. Be aware of the shipping times and plan ahead. When I have a fairly flexible deadline, PrintKEG is great. The artwork is usually approved in a day or two, printed, and at my door in a week or so. And the poster and postcard quality is top notch - especially for the price! I have experienced a few customer service issues of printing delays, artwork cut lines, etc. but the team has always done their best to make it right. Moral of the story? It's pretty critical to be realistic with your deadlines and plan for your items to be delivered at the tail end of the delivery estimate! If you have your artwork completed and time is on your side, definitely try out PrintKEG. read more

I ordered a batch of 1000 postcards for my business from printkeg last year. It came pretty promptly and was printed pretty well. Whats nice is the cards come packaged in lots of ~50 so its easy to hand out to people in batch and carry with you at shows. i bought the yelp deal and ordered another batch of cards a couple days ago. waiting to receive them now. they honored the deal with no problems The 1000 4x6 postcards is by far the best deal here. the shipping is expensive though. I run a small nonprofit, so our budget for items unrelated to directly fulfilling our mission is pretty small. I ordered some cards through another site, not realizing they were flat cards as opposed to the folded cards I was looking for. Unable to use those when they arrived, I had to find somewhere to get folded cards at a decent price, but of course prices increased dramatically when looking at the correct product. I chose Printkeg because it was the least expensive option and had fairly good reviews. I uploaded my images, thoroughly explained which image belonged where as well as my need for horizontal orientation of the cards. I (stupidly) chose not to pay for the proof (but honestly, its 2021, why do they need to charge $5 to provide a proof?) figuring that my request was so simple there was no way to mess it up. It took a week and a half for my order to be printed and shipped, which is far longer than I was expecting given the reviews raving about the speed of turn around times. I was very excited when my order finally arrived, as we are now 3 weeks past our scheduled mail date. However, I was disappointed when I opened the package. My cards were printed vertically, include an unprinted border around the image on the front, and the logo is stretched all the way across the back making it look ridiculous. And since I opted not to get the proof, I have no recourse to fix the cards, so we will be sending out unprofessional looking junk in this mailing because we cannot waste any more time with printing. Even though the price at Printkeg was less than everywhere else, it was definitely not worth the money for a product that looks terrible. Two stars because only because the card stock these are printed on is good quality and the scoring is precise. read more

My experience with PrintKeg was better than expected. I especially appreciated having my posters shrink-wrapped and carefully packaged and was blown away by the turn-around time. As an independent designer, I work with A LOT of print companies. Most often, the choice is between budget pricing and customer service. It's pretty rare to find a company that excels in both areas. PrintKeg manages to do this while maintaining excellent turn-around times. I ordered some greeting cards at a different time. The price was better than the vast majority of other print companies who do short run cards, but the quality was lower than expected. Some of the edges were rough and looked almost creased. I concluded that it made the most sense to rely on PrintKeg for poster printing which is, after all, their specialty. read more

I just used Printkeg.com for my first time to print 100 11x17s and 250 postcards for an upcoming charity event. When I placed the order, I accidentally submitted artwork with the incorrect day of the week listed for the event. I quickly realized this, and sent them updated files, in hopes of reaching someone before it hit the printer. I want to thank everyone over there for helping me with this, getting the corrections in a timely fashion, and most importantly shipping the prints on the original date promised (no delay for this change). Most importantly, all proceeds from this event is going to local charities, and the extra $100 to reprint everything would have been devastating. I received my order this past Friday, which was what I was hoping for and counting on. I am extremely impressed with the quality of work provided, turnaround time, price, and customer service. Summary : - They're trying to scam me out of a $95 refund. - I got better quality prints at Kinko's. That's sad. - It takes 24 hours or more for their response. - I was only able to get a live person on the phone and not a recording once in the entire month I waited for my order to be even looked at. - They don't follow up on my work unless I bug them about it, so I feel like I have to micromanage them. - They had to manually flag my account as "don't forget" because they kept forgetting about my damn order. - It took them 23 days to even look at the material I sent them. Ain't nobody got time for this damn review. - You should only order from this company when you have all the time in the world and don't mind constantly following up via email only & it doesn't scare you that you cannot for the life of you get through to a live person via telephone. I let the stress of all this get the best of me and for that I rush replied back via email just so they would get the job done already and so I messed up my own order. Detail: Jul 30 - I place my order 9 days later.... Aug 9 - I reach out to them to ask what's going on with my order, & I'm told they're looking at my images today. 5 days later.... Aug 14 - They tell me they need better quality images. So really they didn't look at my images until now. Great. I send them the images. 8 days later.... Aug 22 - I email them to ask what's going on, if all my images worked or not since I have not heard back. Aug 23 - They say they finally are able to look at the project today & that it will be shipped today. Aug 25 - They ask me to proof the order. So my order hasn't shipped like they said it would. Aug 31 - They finally ship & let me know the refund will be issued that day for the images that didn't work that I placed the order for. Sept 14 - I still haven't received the refund. Not only that but they are off by my calculation of the refund by about $94. Even though I did the homework for them and broke down what my refund should be via excel file. They told me they refunded my card but I don't see it on my records. I'll update with more info when I can.... read more
