A few weeks ago, I sent a package to a friend staying at a temporary residence in Florida. Unfortunately, the package never arrived, and we honestly did not realize it until she asked where it was! Apparently, UPS in Florida did not like the address, even though packages had been delivered there many times before. Somewhere along the line, the package ended up in limbo. Sierra at the front desk at The UPS Store on Lady's Island was absolutely lovely and helped me gather as much information as she could. She truly cared and did everything possible on her end. Then John Horton stepped in. John personally called me and immediately went into mission mode to help locate the package. My friend had already moved and had a wedding to attend, and the package contained her outfit and other important items she needed before leaving. Thanks to John's persistence, kindness, and determination, we were finally able to track the package down and have it delivered to a UPS hub in Florida, where my friend was able to retrieve everything in time for the wedding. I cannot thank John Horton and the staff at The UPS Store on Lady's Island enough for everything they did. This went far beyond anything I would have expected from a UPS Store. Came in today to drop off an Amazon return and was told that they couldn't accept my return because the computers were down and would take about 20 minutes to reboot. So I waited 20 minutes, only to come back in and have them tell me the same thing. So they basically didn't know when the computers would be back up, didn't bother to tell me that initially, and they can't do anything manually. Their response was: well it's basically inconvenient for everyone. No apology. Ridiculous. Well, now we know where NOT to go. read more

Great UPS Store. I use them for printing, to notarize a document and shipping. Always nice, efficient and reliable.

The absolute WORST service that I have ever experienced, EVER! I walked in today, 3 employees "working." One was vacuuming, one was behind the counter (On her cell phone). I had the misfortune of getting the third employee, AMBER. I needed her help on an Amazon return. She mumbled, back and forth to the back storage room, she was not helpful at all. Again, only mumbled as she kept going back to the storage room. Amber acted like she was doing me a favor, by being there. I was the only customer there!!! AMBER WAS THE RUDEST PERSON. SHE DOES NOT NEED TO BE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. I left, and went to see the very nice people at the UPS store on Parris Island Gateway. I have NEVER had a positive experience at this particular UPS store. They are not friendly, nor customer oriented. BUT TODAY WAS THE WORST. I was so angry, that I came home and: 1. Wrote Amazon and told them about the terrible experience 2. Sent out an email to my neighborhood (Dataw Island 29920) Hopefully discouraging any business to this disgraceful business. read more

My favorite UPS store to go to. They ALWAYS take care of you the second you walk in door. They are patient and understanding when I have to come in with my toddler. They make something like returning a package, pleasant! So grateful for them, because with Amazon we are there a LOT! read more

The rudest worst employees! I can't imagine where they took the smiling faces in the ad for UPS because there are certainly none in this office! They go out of the way to be obnoxious, distant and uncooperative. Not sure what employee the 5 glowing reviews were able to work with, but it certainly was not the times that my husband or I have used this facility. The customer standing behind me today overhead our exchange and followed me to my car to say that she commended me on being kind even thought the employee was very rude. The atmosphere here is toxic. Another of the clerk's ask for information from, evidently, someone standing next to me.....when I answered she snapped "I was not talking to you". Never ever had a bad experience at a UPS store until now. Rudest girl behind the counter. Other employee just sat there . No managerial presence. Told people at work about it and they were appalled too. Will make the drive to another UPS store in the future. read more

Great service, great staff, very courteous and friendly (and they get my jokes, which is a plus :) ). For someone who hates packing, this is a great place, as they provide all the shipping materials, they pack it for you, type up the address - it's a complete service. I love them!!!
