Our stay in the Henry Suite at the Printmakers Inn was near perfect. From the moment we booked, communication with the owner, Peter, was prompt, clear, and genuinely pleasant. He made everything easy and stress-free. Check-in was a breeze and the suite itself was beautiful -- spacious, comfortable, decorated to reflect the era of the house and thoughtfully equipped with a full kitchen. The outdoor space was a lovely bonus. The yard has tables and chairs and a conversational seating area. We enjoyed dinner outside one evening and it was one of our favorite moments of our trip. Every request we had was handled quickly and without any hassle. Peter was always friendly and helpful. Peter and his wife's hospitality made the experience even better. We'd absolutely stay here again. The Henry Suite and Printmakers Inn are Savannah gems. Highly recommend! read more

I wish I had better things to say. We stayed in High Cotton. Scary stairway. There is a TV, if you bring your own apps. Obviously the place is old, and it shows. I never saw Peter... or anyone else. I will search elsewhere for greener pastures. read more

We were in the High Cotton Suite from Friday 3.22.24 to Tuesday 3.26.24. We enjoyed our stay. The Suite was quite roomy. There was an enclosed private patio with rocker chairs. This suite is located on the second floor back of the Nichols House. As noted in the website description, there are steep stairs up to the suite. You must be able bodied and decently strong to lift your luggage up. We had no issue. The room was fairly quiet and had everything we needed. The house does seem adjacent to a semi lively residential neighborhood. At night we heard people talking outside, playing music, and dogs barking. It always died down after sunset and was not a problem for us. It was not out of hand at all. The Victorian house is beautiful and has character. I loved that. This is not the Marriott and this is not a house that has been so heavily restored that it doesn't match its true age at all. That adds to its charm. Grounds were landscaped nicely. Peter is just a text away should you need anything. We did not take advantage of the onsite parking but it is off the lane right near the "by code only" doors to the property. Convenient. I loved being so close to Forsyth Park. Walking the one mile in the beautiful weather to get to the river area was great. This is a walkable city. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. read more

If there are any sort of national emergencies, don't expect Printmaker's Inn to make any exceptions with cancellations. We had reservations for 2 nights in January when the snow storm hit the city and Savannah declared a state of emergency. We were supposed to check in on Friday but the mayor of Savannah had declared the state of emergency to extend until Friday and bridges, airports, etc were closed. We called ahead of time to make sure that it was okay to cancel the reservations since we literally could not get there and we were told yes, that it was okay but it had to be canceled through my credit card company, where I made the reservations. Except when they attempted to cancel, they were told that we wpull not get an refund and we would just lose the $600+ that we had paid for the 2 nights. I assured the credit card company that it was a mistake and gave them the name and contact information of the person that we spoke to and yet the cancellation with refund was denied a second time. We have since tried calling and nobody answers the phone. We've tried leaving messages but have never heard back so at this point, I am assuming that I am out my $600+ and that the Printmaker's Inn is not concerned about helping customers or keeping their word. Make your reservations with caution and hope that a national emergency doesn't happen because they will apparently not care. read more

What a lovely, comfortable place to stay. The bed was comfortable and very high. Small living room made a nice relaxing place. Kitchen is charming. Muffins, bagels, yogurt, OJ, water, and a bottle of red wine was stocked upon arrival, as were the makings for coffee. The sitting area outside was a great place to relax and chat. The fenced-in yard was great for our 2 little, elderly dogs to play and meander around in. About a 15-minute walk to town. Uber rides arrived usually 2 minutes-literally- after requesting them, and were $5 to get into town. (Really they were more like $1.50, but $5 is the lowest amount Uber charges.) Peter was so accommodating and gave us many restaurant recommendations and other fun ideas. read more

Wonderful Inn! Close to Everything! Host Pete goes out of his way to be a true Inn- keeper-- provides something special to nosh on in your room and drink too and is continually available for advice on where to go and what to do if you need anything. Millions visit Savannah each year for it's romantic haunting charm. We were getting 'close ' on the comfortable sofa in the Henry suite and noticed the eyes of the man in the painting above the fireplace moving!. Bed was fabulous read more

My husband and I had an amazing stay at the printmaker's inn. We stayed at the Nichols suite which comes with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in my life. The antebelum home made us feel the historic Savannah experience. Peter gave us great tips during our stay in Savannah including this restaurant called Collins quarter which had amazing food. If you do go to that resturant try the swine time beni...it was great. The house is located in a good spot, and we were able to walk to a lot of places (20 min walks) which was great to just explore savannah and walk through Forsyth park. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. read more

My partner and I came for a quick getaway and were completely blown away by the Nichols suite! It's incredibly spacious, private, and homey (the pictures online are great, but don't do it justice). By far the nicest place I've ever stayed! The inn is also perfectly located - walking distance from downtown and around three blocks away from Forsyth Park. Peter was so accommodating and the perfect host. We loved his recommendations and he was always quick to respond. My friends and I visited Savannah, GA for the first time for a Girls Weekend. There were 6 of us ladies and the Printmaker's Inn was the perfect place for us to stay. Our suite had two large rooms, a living room, and a full kitchen - plenty of room for all 3 of us. Very clean, spacious, and overall beautiful. We were able to fully experience the culture and charm of Savannah in this historic home! What a gorgeous turn-of-the-century home! And you don't get just a bedroom and bathroom like at most B&B's. The suites also have small kitchens and private entrances. So much space, you almost feel like you have the entire home to yourself! Incredible heart-of-pine floors, and intricate woodwork and high ceilings. Perfect location--it's a couple of blocks from Forsyth Park and Barnard Street shops, and about a mile from Bay Street. My husband and I strolled down the tree-lined streets to dinner and also to lunch, stopping at fabulous restaurants and bars that the owner recommended. We have already recommended the Printmaker's Inn to our friends and family, and will definitely return. read more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Printmaker's Inn in the Button Suite for 3 nights--such a wonderful place! The pictures online are beautiful but don't do the house justice; it has the charm of a restored home with modern amenities. Peter was an amazing host and provided recommendations for the area, his cell phone for anything we needed, and tasty little breakfast (yogurt, bagel, coffee, etc.) in the room. The walk downtown (~1 mi) was easy and through quaint neighborhoods and parks. Would stay there again in a heartbeat! read more
