Sometimes you have such a good experience with a business that you literally want to tell everyone you know. This is one of thoes times... Going to a mechanic has always been nerve racking for me. As I try to imitate that strange sound my car is making, looking into the mechanics eyes, pleading for them to understand me and at the same time trying to send brainwaves that say "Please don't rip me off, because I don't know what Im talking about". And then I get sent to wait on the grease covered stool, while some guy tells me it'll be a few days, because you know, it could be my thermal couple and thoes are really involved... And then I met these guys, and by met I mean my car stalled and died right in front of their brand new, just opened, didnt even know it was there, shop. And it was absolutely the best thing ever. These guys just do it right. Everything. They are not condescending when Im sounding like a fool, trying to interpret what I think is wrong. They listen. They look me in the eye and take what I have to say into consideration and then they fix the problem, and tell me why what happened, happened. Maybe it's because it's a family business, owned and run by family men, but I have never felt respect at a mechanics before, and I will bring all my business here from now on. read more

Very friendly & fast, had us in & out for our oil change in just 30 minutes. We just bought this car less than a month ago so we wanted a check-up to make sure there wasn't any bad surprises. The gentleman was very courteous & felt genuinely honest. Which is terribly rare with mechanics. It didn't feel like he was just giving me some act to make me believe what he was telling me. Now my car is no spring chicken, a 2004 Mitsubishi Galant with 195,000 miles on it. He could've easily convinced me there were many dire problems that needed immediate attention but no. Just some new break pads and some minor work. The best part is they'll do it without breaking my bank. My fiancé and I I moved here from Las Vegas a year ago and bought this car a month ago and have now found our mechanic for the rest of the time we will be living here in Tucson. I would definitely recommend anybody who doesn't want to spend a ton of money on problems that don't exist or don't do the the work you overpaid for to go to this mechanic. Our minivan broke down and we had it taken to our regular mechanic. He had it for a few days and said he counldn't fix it and that he thought we would have to buy a new vehicle. I tried one last place, priority auto and tire center. I spoke with Jeff and explain what had happened. He told me, that he didnt think the van was done for and to have it towed to his shop. He worked on it for a few days, always calling and giving me a heads up as to what was going on. He finally figured everything out, gave me an estimate and a day it would be finished. I was totally surprised when they called a few days early to tell me it was ready and that they had come in under budget. A lot had to be done to get our van running well, and they did it! I never felt like they were trying to take advantage of me in any way. Jeff explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. Took my 2015 kia sorento here and it's beyond the best auto center in Tucson. I came in late at 4:45, the owner assured me not to worry he would get me taken care of and out the door today. Beyond honest and true customer care at this shop. Went above and beyond what I asked for. They went through and did a full inspection on the car and showed me everything. In addition, they told me life of tires, brake pads and filters incase I went any where else, I wouldn't get ripped off on these items. I will never take my car any where else but here again. Mind you, all of this was completed including the oil change in less the 30 min of me walking in the door. Prices cannot be beat for this level of service. Excellent Service & Friendly Staff! I was in a bind after finding a nail in my tire early Saturday morning and needed a fast no hassle repair. I knew Discount tire would just give me the same old song and dance about "well you don't have enough tread on your tire" or "the nail is to close to the edge for us to fix it" I needed to drive to Phoenix at 9am and didn't have time to waste just to be shot down on the repair. Plus I was not ready to buy new tires. I searched on Yelp! and this seemed like my place. Sure enough when I showed up at 7:30am I asked them and they not only said they could fix it but they would have it done in about 20 minutes! Needless to say I was relieved and the guys did a great job for me! I will definitely be back and will be making referrals for them any chance I get! What impressed me most at the beginning was that the guys at Auto Zone, located next door to Priority, sent me there to get my engine/sensor issues resolved. I figured that had to be a good sign. The folks at Priority were professional, personable, and very helpful from start to finish. They provided transportation while they repaired my car. They did a very good job explaining car problems to a "non-car" person in ways that helped me understand the issues. All of this helped me to feel I could trust them. As for repairs, my 2004 Jetta drives better now than it has in a very long time. It has cost me a lot to replace both fuel and water pumps as well as tires, but it's a relief when the engine starts immediately and runs efficiently and I'm running on good tires. Jeff and Steven, co-owners, are incredibly helpful and honest. I had taken my car in for service to another place that told me there were multiple things wrong and had a hefty price tag to fix the issues. I got a second opinion with Priority and many of the issues the previous mechanic mentioned were not problems at all according to Jeff. Saved a good amount of money, and my car is now running smoothly. Jeff was clear on what needed to be done right away and what I could wait a little while on to help ease the burden to my wallet! They also fixed a seat cover piece that had broken, "just because it was only going to take a minute and no new parts were needed." Drove to work the other day, parked and then noticed a screw in my back tire. I noticed my tire still had some pretty good air in it so I chanced it for a drive to a great mechanic shop. I drove from Ina and La Cholla to this shop for them to check out my tire. I called ahead and informed them of my issue and that I had to pretty much stop in and go in a hurry. I asked if the owner Jeff was there and he was and they said they'd let him know. I've brought my truck here before for service and had nothing but great professional service. If you don't know much about cars and the services they need, they can break it down to you and make you feel comfortable when you leave because it was done right and you weren't ripped off. These guys were honest and didn't tell me that I needed unnecessary work done. I've been to a few places which suggested I replace my whole brake system. I know my brakes worked fine, and the mechanic there was able to confirm that. He only did the work necessary to keep me in the road, which is all I need right now since I recently lost my job and have no income. He was very straightforward in what had to be done and the prices. I really liked the fact that they had the parts right there in stock, so I didn't have to come back another day. It all got done during my appointment. I recommend this place, especially if you are concerned about getting unnecessary or expensive work done. The best in Tucson. 30 years in Tucson and 15 vehicles, I've tried many places. I became loyal to 2 but when I needed my engine replaced I did my research and knew how much it should cost. My loyal shops gave me an estimate that was 3k over. I got an estimate from Priority that was actually $500 less then I estimated. I delayed because I wasn't sure. They called me to see if I was still interested. I told them I needed to call triple A for a tow but I'm pretty busy with work. No problem! They said they would tow for free and have my truck ready in 2 days. I took a chance and dang. My truck was ready in a day,they replaced all my old hoses for free, and gave me a free oil change after 500 miles. It's rare to find this type of service these days. Hope they stay this way. I plan on bringing all my vehicles to them here on out. read more

I've had past experience with Jeff and am so excited that he opened his own shop! It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust but Jeff is trustworthy, fair and honest. He thoroughly explains the problem and gives his recommendation for repair. He'll tell you what your vehicle needs and more importantly what it doesn't need. He even took me out to the car to see and hear the issue. He is family owned and works with his son Steve who specializes in my make of car (among others). They are very knowledgeable and work hard to get your vehicle back on the road safely and as soon as possible. I've even called after hours on a Sunday to ask a question and they answered right away. I just left their shop and haven't felt this good about an Auto Repair Shop in a very long time! After being told by another shop that I needed an expensive repair, I called Priority for a second opinion. I was treated with dignity, I was communicated with completely and these guys went over my 2012 Mitsubishi Gallant with a fine tooth comb and confirmed I, in fact, did NOT need the repair I was told I needed. There was nothing wrong with my car. They saved me $650! May not seem like a lot of money to some people but I'm on disability, this is my only and much needed transportation. I can't afford to not take care of it but I can't afford to be ripped off either. This shop is great and I highly recommend them to any one and every one who reads this. read more

My housemates recommended going here as I'd just driven cross country and wanted to have my car looked over. I mentioned this when I went in and they knew my housemates by name despite the fact that they are not frequent visitors. They treated me with such respect, were never condescending, and never gave me any reason to think they weren't being anything but straight with me. Normally, as a woman, I feel like I need a guy to come into car places with me to be taken seriously but these guys are just good people. I'm currently sitting in their waiting space for my second time here and I'm equally happy with my experience. Wish a TEN star was possible! I called in as my car had stalled out on me, told them I had codes from Auto Zone and they got me in that morning. They were EXTREMELY courteous and professional, I felt very comfortable in their shop, being a woman and having to go to a mechanics shop can be overwhelming and a little scary. They NEVER tried to up sell or tell me anything else was wrong with my car then what it was, a broken evap hose. Was in and out in about an hr and a half with a fixed car , check engine light was off..and the kicker....WASNT CHARGED A DIME for their service. My truck needed alignment so I went to Yelp for a look at local shops. I found Priority Auto and read their reviews. All were good so I decided to call for an appt. Within an hour I was at the shop and they took truck in with only a few minutes wait. Finding I had a work Pittman arm, aligning the front end was difficult but they did the best they could until I can replace the arm. I'm happy to report that my truck now drives straight as an arrow... These guys are awesome!! The waiting area is spacious with comfortable seating, candy and soda machine, free water and coffee and flat screen TV. My experience here was extremely pleasant and I'll definitely be returning. So very impressed with this location. I received word motor mounts were needed for my vehicle. The original estimate from another location was ~$700.00. At this location, it was ~$400.00. Not only that, quality is emphasized at this location, along with communication, and comfort of the customer. When I reached out, I received an incredible and respectful reply. Moreover, I was able to be seen quickly without an appointment, and the wait was not very long. That being said though..must emphasize - quality is crucial to them - if it was a long wait, I would have been happy with that factor. I highly recommend them! I have spent numerous hours in the waiting room at Priority auto over the last 6 months. Their kind professionalism, easy conversation, and evident knowledge of cars is very winning. I had ignition problems on one of my cars, and Jeff Wright (the owner) talked me through how to get my car out of park when both I and the tow-truck operator were struggling. The waiting room is very well furnished, and the chairs are among the most comfortable waiting-room chairs I have sat in, ever. I have been trying to find a service shop in Tucson that exhibits superior ethics. Priority Auto not only proved to be a top notch shop to me, but the way I saw them treat every other customers in the shop was amazing. I actually saw them down sell services and only did the one needed repair for a woman. She came in thinking she needed brakes replaced. Turned out she had one bad wheel bearing and the brakes could could wait. They replaced just the one bearing instead of both and told her to come back if she needed help with anything. Great first impression with a prompt quote for installation of front hubs on my Ford Explorer. No lecture about supplying my own parts. On time, even early when I came in for my scheduled repairs. I had a chance to observe both the action of the manager and the other mechanics. They paid meticulous attention to cleaning mating parts before installation. I witnessed the interaction of the manager and customers and was impressed with how he handled even a very upset customer. The cost for my services was half what I had been quoted elsewhere.
