I needed some stucco fixed and painted. They did a great job, finished on time and at a good price. Looks perfect.

Terrible exterior painting experience. ***See photos for reference. Little to no prep in most areas. Dark trim overspray on main stucco walls. Painted over hinges and wood french doors while painting body/stucco house. Didn't use scaffolding as discussed during estimate process. Used ladders balanced on stairs w/ paint buckets. Huge safety risk to Jose/Brian (his only crew at time of job) + owner liability risk. Sprayed over everything w/out cleaning/prep (look at window shim). Splattered paint on terra cotta tile walkways + clay roof tile. Painted dirt/sand into railing, sprayed paint on fence (this part of fence not in contract). Trampled on landscaping. Communicated these concerns to Paul constantly from the beginning. Had to stop them mid-job to prevent more damage. Huge cost to undo work already done. We reluctantly agreed to let him come back and fix after realizing he only has 2 workers. On 9/7, after waiting 6 weeks+, with no estimated return date and house in shambles, we had to move on and file a complaint (started 7/9, worked 9 days, made them stop 7/20, agreed to let them fix on 7/29, never returned). Said they had started apartment project but promised to fix as soon done and they had no other jobs and wouldn't book any more until ours is fixed. Complaint is now in the hands of contractor's board. I will say, Paul was nice and respectful throughout this process, guaranteed we'd be happy with results. But the work resulted in so many more problems that now need to be fixed and we were in limbo waiting for them to come back with no action. Now we have to pay someone $$$$ to fix their mistakes. Absolutely cannot recommend this business. So disappointing and don't know how to get this worked corrected. So much worse than when we started. Just look at the photos. read more

These guys did the entire interior of our almost 100 year old house where we have a lot of details and built in furniture. Estimate and explanation of work was very precise and thorough. Paul really cares about your home and the work his company does. They scheduled us the exact week that worked for us best and was super responsive. The workers did an excellent job. We had several colors and specific instructions along with a number of small repairs for holes in walls and ceilings- all executed wonderfully. They covered all of our belongings and floors and no paint got anywhere I didn't want it to be. They finished a half a day early and we couldn't have been happier with the quality of work and the price. I plan to have them paint our house exterior next year. Also- Paul, his Forman Jose and all the workers are just good guys and were a pleasure to work UPDATE - they just finished the exterior and m just as happy. Workers were amazing and very meticulous. I recently had the exterior of my home painted by Priority Painting and I can recommend them without reservation. The owner, Paul, is friendly and professional and his bid was reasonable. (His was one of the three bids I secured.) My home was last painted about eighteen years ago and it showed. There was exposed wood on the clapboard siding, several window sills suffered dry rot and the south-facing front door was blistered from the years of exposure to the sun. The Priority Painting crew did a meticulous job scraping and sanding and fixing the damaged and rotted areas around the house in preparation for priming and painting. They used high-quality Dunn Edwards paints and the house looks terrific. Several neighbors have commented on the "before" and "after." Jose was the foreman of the crew who worked on the house. The crew was reliable (they showed up when they were supposed to show up), neat (all areas that needed protecting, such glass on the windows, walkways, etc., were thoroughly covered), clean (trash was appropriately managed), friendly, polite and--most important--competent in the work they were doing. I am on the HOA Board of a State-registered Historic Building so needed to make sure I hired a company with the utmost in professionalism. I needed mainly exterior work of painting, patching, and steam cleaning, not only of the historic building but also of the adjoining building also in the HOA, and also interior painting. I contacted 7 companies: 3 never responded, 1 came out but never got back to me, one gave a ridiculously high estimate of $10,000, one said $7,200, and Paul said $4,800, plus he added about an extra 300 sf of wall painting! When they were done I knew I made the right choice, not just because they were less than half the cost of one company and a third less than another, but an owner who complains about everything was ecstatic over how good a job they did! As an avid Yelp reviewer I really try to be fair and so to be fair Paul is a nice guy. But nice guys don't always do a good job or hire nice guys to work for them. So my recommendation is to stay away if you have an eye for any detail or care about quality. I don't know if Paul is using a different subcontractor than he used before but my experience is nothing like the other reviews. Paul said the guys would scrape off the loose paint and properly prepare the surfaces first but there was still a ton of paint that the guys could have easily removed but instead tried to seal in with primer. This created more build up and means doors and cabinets will have problems closing. When my drywaller noticed the errors and mentioned the problem to Jose, the forman, (over the phone) Jose threatened to beat up my drywaller and told him to mind his own business. Like I said, Paul, the owner is nice enough and says the work will be done right but in the end he just wants to get paid for the least amount of work possible. They attempted to paint over loose flaky paint and I had to catch them at this multiple times. And to top it off they said they would have two to three guys working on the job... but they just have one guy... so a messy drippy flaky job is taking a lot longer then promised. Oh and the spray job they did in the closets was so bad that it was peeling off and dripping in a matter of hours. In the end it did seem like Paul wanted to make it right within reason but the problem was that to truly make it right they would have had to prep correctly to begin with. read more
