My walk-in freezer went down yesterday ,and my regular repair guy was out of town ,I looked on line and saw Priority Refrigeration and gave them a call ,I told him my freezer was down and had a big order coming in the morning and i was in a emergency situation could he help me out ? My walk in cooler was running hot so I called Priority Refrigeration. David came down to check it out and found it was low on freon. He found a leak in my evaporator and did some welding and repaired the leak. He refilled it with freon and cleaned my condensor coil and now it's cooling at 36 degrees. David was absolutely incredible. He came less than an hour after we called him and knew exactly what to do to fix our fridge problem. We own a local coffee shop and every penny counts. Unfortunately, the repairman before David, bought and installed the wrong size fan and relay kit. Ugh. David replied immediately and set up an appointment to come out and look at our 7 freezers and refrigerators, he tuned them all up, got the ones that weren't working to work and was great to work with. The reviews don't lie. My Beverage Air reach-in wasn't holding temp. Called up Priority Refrigeration, spoke with David, response was quick. He diagnosed and explained the problem. While performing the repair, he taught me a few tricks on how to maintain an extend the life of my equipment. I've dealt with other repair guys in the past who seem just outright incompetent compared to David. It sounds harsh, but being in a service related industry myself, David's friendly, knowledgable, and proactive approach is the trifecta of quality service. I called priority refrigeration based on the positive yelp reviews. David came out and diagnosed the problem very quickly and found it was a bad compressor (I saw him try and start the compressor with a new starter). To my delight he had the compressor in stocked in his van and got started right away. he was done in the same day in less then 3 hours. The compressor installation was very reasonably priced compared to previous experiences with my ex-service technician. He then recommended I do a maintenance on my other units which he did. I feel he gave me honest service and seemed knowledgeable when I asked him about recommendations and repairs. I'll be using him for my regular maintenance and repairs from now on. read more

I found priority refrigeration on yelp and based on his reviews I decided to call. I explained the ongoing issues we were having in our bar with lots of equipment, True freezers, a big walk in cooler, beverage air beer boxes and keg coolers and a Delfied unit. He performed maintenance on all the units and changed a thermostat in another, added freon in the other unit, total bill was less then $375! I was previously charged $400 just for a thermostat from my past service company... he came, assessed the problems, repaired the problems and left, it's been a few months and everything is still running great. David was WONDERFUL! The reach-in refrigerator at our homeless shelter stopped cooling, which is a big problem as we have 30 hungry youth to feed every day! We received a quote from another company who wanted to replace the condensing unit for $2,300+ which is something we simply cannot afford-being a non-profit, we have to watch every penny. We called Priority Refrigeration for a second opinion, and I'm so glad we did! Not only is his service charge 1/3 of the price of other companies, he discovered that the condensing unit did not need replacing, but simply a new fuse. He recharged the coolant and cleaned all 3 refrigeration units for a fraction of what we would have paid the other company. All of our units are now fully functional, and we have David to thank! When the commercial refrigerator at our synagogue recently stopped working, we contacted Priority Refrigeration. They called back immediately , scheduled a visit for 2 days later, and gave us a two-hour window. They called as promised an hour prior to their arrival and showed up exactly when they said they would. David was accompanied by an assistant. They promptly got to work and in short order had diagnosed the problem- a build-up of black gunk on the compressor had shut it down. They cleaned it thoroughly, replaced the freon that had leaked, and stayed for a while to make sure that the temperature was holding. They were at our site for a bit over an hour and charged us $200. David and his assistant were polite, friendly, professional, and competent. Based on our experience, we would happily use them again (hope we won't have to!) and feel comfortable recommending them to others. read more
