I did not use WAVE's services, but did communicate with representative Anna M. through Yelp multiple times. I reached out to over 20 HVAC companies to schedule an appointment, and Anna's customer service was the best I received, to the point where I felt it'd be wrong to not leave a review. Of note, the majority of companies did not seem to bother to read what I wrote - I started with, "Hello, I hope you're well. I'm looking for availability this week in the evenings at 6:15pm or later. I live in San Leandro." And most other representatives would ask what city I live in, and then try to book me for morning and afternoon appointments. Anna immediately attempted to book me for an evening appointment and didn't ask me where I live, which I appreciated. Furthermore, in terms of value, WAVE offered the best: "Our diagnostic fee is 60$ for each appliance, and it will be included in the final repair cost once you give us the go-ahead." Most companies asked for $80 to $99, and some of them stated the fee is separate and would not be included in the repair cost. It's always a good day when one finds reliable and honest people to help with projects one can't do on their own. Our Samsung four door fridge turned into a freezer. Ruined a boat-load of food. WAVE quickly booked an appointment and came to take a look. They had to order a part, which came in over the weekend and so we had a second appointment for a Monday install. Sadly, the repair didn't work (never buy a Samsung fridge! They should stick to TV's and stereos!), and so they refunded us all but the estimate fee, which was more than generous. We will get a new fridge, but if any of our other appliances fail, we will not hesitate to call WAVE for the repair! read more

Sergey of Wave Appliance did an amazing job! The response time was incredible - texting within a half an hour of my outreach and arriving within a few hours plus texting before arrival. Our Kenmore Elite front loading washing machine was exhibiting an "OE" message and not draining after the wash cycle. Sergey arrived on the scene and immediately took control and diagnosed our appliance problem. Within minutes he retrieved a washing machine motor from his car and returned to fix our problem. As just like that, our washing machine worked again. Sergey was extremely professional and resolved problem leaving area clean. Highly recommend and well worth the value. Chris of WAVE appliance is what appliance repair USED to be: Knowledgeable, competent, communicative, and responsive. My Kitchenaid refrigerator was making beeping noises and running continuously. So many places wanted to replace the assumedly bad board (quite expensive as they're now only sold in full sets of boards, even if you only need one), but Chris recognized that likely just a capacitor needed replacing. If you're on Yelp you're probably getting quotes from like 5 companies for whatever the job is. Here's why I think you should call Wave: When our dryer stopped heating up, I actually went with another company at first (because they had more reviews). That company was late, did not solve our problem, presented me with a $500 repair plan, I paid half up front for them to order a part, and they still haven't followed up with me 6 weeks later about making the repair happen. Meanwhile we have 3 kids running around this house needing clean clothes & no time to go to a laundromat due to said kids. So, I trust my gut and call Wave for a second opinion. I'm so happy I did. Super fast communication (on Yelp and text messages), an on-time technician who was both COVID-friendly (vaccinated & with PPE) and just friendly-friendly. I waited and then at 6:06pm I get a text from the technician that he'd be there at 7pm. How is this at all professional, courteous, or good business? What if the technician showed up on time and found a note that I'd be back an hour after the appointed time? If the company believes that this is an acceptable practice, what other ways do they stretch what's acceptable? I told them not to come. read more

I had an issue with my water dispenser on my refrigerator dispensing water slower than usual. I started a repair project to contact different companies and Anna contacted me from Wave. She made an appointment that was suitable to my schedule. And although there was a hiccup of the repairman getting sick and Anna canceling the appointment the day before, she quickly found another person to do the job at the same time and day originally promised! Second time I've used this company and both times quick and great service. Both times the person working on my appliances was very professional. The first time my refrigerator was leaking water scheduled them and two days later my fridge was back to normal. A couple days ago noticed my oven wasn't turning on contacted them yesterday and had them out here the very nxt day. When he figured out the problem he needed to get a part but came back a couple hours later and finished the job and got me up and running with the oven. Chris is our hero! Last Friday, I noticed a big puddle of water was under our refrigerator.... We knew something was wrong! Saturday morning, we frantically looked for people to come and take a look and hopefully they could fix it! My husband called several places, they either had no one picked up the phone or someone told us that they couldn't help us until Monday. So apparently, it's the weekends that probably not too many people would like to work. I started looking for refrigerator repair on Yelp. I saw the WAVE Appliance and HVAC Repair has a "10 minute Response time"! My husband called and surprisingly, someone actually picked up the phone. In fact, the staff was very professional and efficient and took down our contact info. She told us that they could come over between 1-3 pm the same day and see if they could help. Most of their Reviews on Yelp are very good so we decided to have them come and try! Usually when any service says they would be here between 1-3, I expect them to be here late but impressively, the tech Chris texted my husband and actually got here almost exactly at 1 pm! Little did we know, that was just the easy part! Our kitchen cabinets were custom built so the refrigerator is a very tight fit. Chris had a hard time to pull out the refrigerator and he worried that if he took out the refrigerator, he would ruin our wood floor, worse that he might not be able to push it back and the refrigerator might be stuck in the middle of our kitchen! He was trying to find another way to see if he could find out where it leaks and fix it there. He even crawled under our crawl space to see if he could fix it from there but after all the mess he went through, he told us that he really had to pull the refrigerator out. We assured him that we would take the risk of the possibility of having the refrigerator stuck in the middle of our kitchen for him to stop the leak. Once he finally pulled out the refrigerator, we saw one of the tubes was broken and the water continued to leak. So he gave us a choice whether we wanted that to be fixed and risk to have another tube break and leak again or to turn off our ice maker. Since we never used the ice maker, the choice was obvious! After he shuts off the ice maker, the leak stopped and he was able to push back the refrigerator also! Our wood floor on there only had some minor scratches so we were totally happy! I usually don't give 5 stars but WAVE not only has the skill, great customer service and efficient process. Chris is very good at problem solving, honest and care about his work and his customers! We are 100% happy with them! They make us sleep easier! read more
