The salon is new, well lit, and clean which is welcoming however don't expect customer service or to leave out of here in a decent time frame. I entered the salon 5:45 PM on Friday 5/18/18 & was done at 9:15 PM. Oh & NO APPOINTMENTS, WALK- INS ONLY. I'm new to the area so I stumbled in on my way to another salon. I walked in & noticed a few people waiting & asked how long for an acrylic fill-in & a pedicure. Again, I wasn't greeted I had to ask & was told "you next, when she finish, pick color". I waited for about 10 minutes to sit in the pedicure chair. Another 10 minutes for the pedicure to start. The technician must've gotten up 5 times during my pedicure for other tasks/customers. I got the lavender spa pedicure. The massage was mediocre & so was the paint job. After the pedicure I was seated under the dryer for about 15 minutes then told I was next again. Once someone else needed to dry I was moved to an empty station where I waited another 15/20 minutes. During this wait time, they continued to tell customers they're next as they walk in inquiring about wait time. This is upsetting & untrue as myself and a couple others are waiting. Finally the technician starts my nails around 7:45ish. The actual shape & paint job was neat & the tech took her time. As I was leaving out decided to get my eyebrows waxed. I took a chance & they didn't come out so great. I was tired, hungry & annoyed at this experience. I was given my total & immediately handed over my card. SORRY, CASH ONLY. At this point I was livid, there was no sign posted and my experience felt like I was being pranked. I let them know that was wrong and their customer service sucks. At this point 4 other customers are in agreement as they all were not aware & did not have cash. I did not notice there was an ATM in the corner near polish. I visited Cebu and was quite excited to get my nails done. I searched and searched and found Prisca. Before I booked, I asked if they could do the design on my nail which is a half moon.. red & platinum. They said they could with additional charges on top of their base price for Acrylic & gel. I took it. Normally, my nails would last a minimum of 2 weeks and up to a month. But its only been 3 days, my nails started popping up. Today, 5 days after, I lost 1 nail already. For what I paid which is probably 3-4x the price of a regular manicure.. this is one bad quality of a work. I paid P1800. I truly can't recommend it. Not only did they take over 3hrs just to do my nails. My butt really hurt from sitting that extremely long period of time, but most if all, the work was very disappointing. ANDY is truly an artist. He is the only reason I am loyal to this place. He takes his time to make sure every nail is perfect. I HIGHLY recommend this gentleman if you're thinking about stopping by. This is NOT an upscale nail salon but they get the job done. ANDY does my nails so flawlessly every time and their prices are fair for a local nail salon! Service is still good as is the general upkeep however there seems to be a language barrier (I hope, otherwise it means they're skipping out on advertised services!). I came in for a Fruit Spa pedi and although the description clearly states that you'd be able to "feel like a kid again as you swoosh your feet around in the gel-like soak", 2 staff members assured me that it was not a soak but instead a callus remover gel (also included). They insisted that the Jelly Spa pedi is the only option on their menu where a gel soak is used although their menu states otherwise. DO NOT COME HERE!!! This place was recommended to me so many times by my cousin who swears by this place but I had the absolute worst experience. I had to get an sns removal along with a gel manicure and regular nail polish pedicure. The employee who did my toes clearly does not know what she was doing. As she was filing my toe nails I can clearly see her not touching my nails & filing the air. As for cuticle removal she only put in a half ass job on my big toe & just touched the cuticle applicator on my other toes. My manicure was the downfall in my experience. She filed my nail down soooo extremely thin it broke hours later. The technique to polish my nail was horrible. The initial design I wanted to do, the nail tech couldn't do which was okay so I switched to white with two diamonds & they were placed not in the center of my nail. Less than 24 hours the gel polish started peeling of. Bottom line don't come to this place. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

Came here during the week and waited FOREVER to just get a Pedicure done. The language barrier is definitely an issue. Only one person working here is 'okay' at speaking english. It's terrible. It's my go-to salon because of affordability and location, and I'm usually happy with my results (I keep my mani/pedi simple). However, customers are often shuffled around and kept waiting between services. It's likely that one employee will start your pedicure, for example, then move you to the side for however long before a second employee remembers to take over to finish up. Also, there's not always an order or system: I've witnessed customers receive service even though they've walked in after others (keep in mind there are no appointments). These things do affect the customer experience, but the prices are low and the men and women are kind. I recommend doing SNS. I've never had an issue and it keeps my nails strong enough to grow. read more

I've been going to this salon for over 5 years- back when it was located on 112 street and less than half the size it is now. They do a pretty good job and are also pretty affordable, but they have no respect for their customers' time. They have more customers, but the wait times have been ridiculous- over 1 hour just to get a regular pedicure. I called the salon today, a Wednesday around 5 PM and was told that there was no wait time. I get there in a few minutes and sit on the pedicure chairs. They seat their clients, ask them to pick a color and even groom their nails, and then the client is waiting to have their nails painted until the employee comes back from working on someone else. Today, I sat there for an hour and no one started on me even though other clients who came in after me had their pedicures partially done. I dont understand how they could lie to their clients on the phone, let someone sit there for 1 hour or start a pedicure and walk away so the person is obligated to wait for them to come back and finish. I had my first experience recently at this place just to try their service out before an upcoming occasion to see if I would want to come back. It was manageably full on my visit. The lady doing my nails was being a bit of a rush & didn't thoroughly file, cut, buff & remove my cuticles. I also had red nail polish on which she also didn't clean off very well & just decided to paint over it. Same goes for my manicure. She left smears of nail polish on my skin an I was hoping she'd clean it up upon finishing but she just took me to dry my nails. She then roughly proceeded to giving me a shoulder massage that lasted 3 seconds and kind of hurt cause she was in a rush. I also had eyelash extensions done cause I've always been curious & for the price of $22 i just had to grab that opportunity. Firstly, there was no eyelash extension certificate visible so I can trust the person putting tweezers in my eye. The room was extremely dirty with wooden sticks still left in the waxing machine, the ceiling had a missing tile that exposed cords & God knows what else & there was also a water stain on the ceiling from a leak. Upon actually doing my lashes; she used Ardell triple knot individuals that I usually pay less that 7 dollars for with what looked like hair glue to stick it on my upper water line. My eyes watered like crazy cause the smell of the adhesive was like rubbing alcohol. After finishing & carrying on my day, it began to pinch my inner corner. I took really good care of them for three of them to fall out. They are now all ruined so I used some coconut oil to soothly remove the rest. My real lashes have diminished in size & some have came out leaving my eye swollen & painful. I can firmly say I won't be coming back to this location. Very very horrible! Not only are they terrible with telling time but they also have stink attitudes. I usually just go there bc it's convenient for me but I rather walk an extra block now. Their nail polishes start chipping in 2 days, they don't clean the cuticles neatly, after just getting a simple manicure my skin will feel sore. They rush you and have no respect. This place is the worse when it comes to sanitary standards. I had my nails done on 9/7/19 during the week about 9/11 I noticed my nail developing a green substance. I visited the salon on 9/14 to indicate my issue. The owner Amy proceeds to open a bottle of acetone and place my finger in it. Yes the whole bottle with my fungus on it, to be socked and redone. Upon completion she place the bottle on the side on the next station, covered the bottle. She takes a nail clipper that was just used by the other client ( no disinfectant used) to cut down my nails. Placed the nail clipper with my nails still inside on a stand. When she finish reapplying the acrylic she took the brush and placed it in the same bottle of acetone I just soaked my nail in to disinfect. I would be filing a complaint about this salon. They don't disinfect after each client don't even soak the tub for pedicure as it's mandatory to disinfect for 10 minutes after each client. read more

I've been going to this salon for years when it was a little hole in the wall on 112 street. Service back then to what it is now is a complete 360. They rush manicures and pedicures. LILLY and Mai both have developed very bad attitudes. They talk about you to you and laugh at customers in their language. They assume their tip from your change. Aside from bad customer service, the quality of work is terrible now. They don't do cuticle oil, they sometimes forget steps and when asked they lie and say they did do it... their constantly training new people and make you get your pedicure by the newbies so that they can practice on you ( without telling you, but you can tell by the quality of the work done)... read more

I used to come here very often until I found somewhere better. They have a nice selection of colors you can choose from but every time I come here & no matter who does my tips, they usually come off very quickly. Within a week and a half my tips need a fill-in before they break off. Also, there was a numerous amount of times I had to wait over an hour just to get someone to do my nails and when I finally would get a seat, they would always get up and serve other customers in the middle of doing my nails which would take even longer. Aside from previous reviews - I actually liked this spot. It was recommended by me as a good new salon. Came in, no wait, I asked for regular manicure. The guy did my nails very well, he was thorough, detailed, and patient, he didn't cut me or file too hard. I later asked to do the $5 callus removal which is sort of like a grater against your feet and tickles - but did make a difference and done well. Perhaps I was lucky and came at a good time when time management wasn't an issue. The quality is good. My regular polish manicure lasted 2.5 weeks, which is longer than me doing my own manicures. I used to come here until I noticed they would not give you the usual hand massage when u get your nails done or the basic foot massage when you get a pedicure... so I basically stopped coming & also they never shaped my nails right and had a tendency of "Rushing". So I've been going to a new salon a few blocks away..... on Saturday I decided since it's closer let me give this salon one last shot. To my surprise they had a new nail tech ANDY he did an amazing job my nails were done in a timely manner shaped EXACTLY how I wanted and believe it or not I got my hand massage without having to ask for it. To top things off as I was drying (Which I did not get gel) he gave me a quick shoulder massage. This was by far the BEST experience I've had here since coming and because of ANDY they've regained a lost customer. Hopefully when I go get a pedicure it will be the same experience. I came here in an emergency with my friend since our nail salon was closing. When we came in the ladies were eager to seat us but after that they took every one that came in for a messed up finger or a broken nail. They re-use the aluminum foil with the old cotton and nail polish still on it for removing gel and when I pointed out the lady just giggled. I Waited for an hour and the lady kept running around after she had already starting my fill in. Their management was horrible. Time management was horrible. Worst nail salon experience ever. First of all let's just start by saying that they don't know how to do an ombré. They can barely do any designs you request and they will literally tell you "sorry we don't know how to do that". My sister was in the nail salon for over an hour and only had her toes done, they never even started on her hands. When they finally decided to start on her hands, the nail tech told her she would have to wait 15 mins for her to start on her hands. I went to this nail salon to do my nails for Christmas eve. It was right down the block from where I live. I got acrylic nails. the guy did my nails and ended up cutting three of my fingers using those electric files. that was my worst experience their. it hurt so bad the next couple of days. I came here a handful of times and they're pretty good for this area. I got the jelly spa pedicure and it is def worth $25! Coco does my mani & pedi and she's really good however some things she can improve on is: when doing the callus remover, scrub for longer as you're paying extra for this..and to do the 10 min massage without gloves on, real hands just feel so much better read more
