I think I've fount my new local go to nail salon. I'm so happy there's a salon in Kew Gardens that actually creates designs that are gorgeous. First off, the salon decor is super cute. It's spacious and very welcoming. Secondly, making an appointment was super easy and the follow up communication was seamless. The prices for acrylics are standard (I've paid the same prices at other salons for sets similar). And I'm super impressed at the hand painting ability by Sia. She gave me the exact design I wanted in the set amount of time I booked (like on the dot). Top notch all around! 5 stars! If we had to make titles for reviews this one would be called: "Zero Business Etiquette" I have been trying to schedule an appointment since December. At one point I visited the address listed and there was a sign on the door with another number and an "only by appointment" sign on the door. I called and texted the 347 number to which she responded saying they were closed for a week. I reached out again early Jan via text since that is the preferred method. I received no response. I then called to which she answered (miraculously) and I was ask if I'd called before (I said yes thinking that would have made a difference or expedited this process, nope) instead she responded letting me know that I would need to come to her with bare nails. No problem. She then stated that she was driving and would text me a "link" to schedule an appointment. She has yet to do so. Why the scheduling process is so challenging and tedious is beyond me. This however, seems to be her normal pattern of behavior (based on other reviews) which is very unfortunate as I'm sure she'd get more business. read more

Honestly I've been to sooo many nail salons for the longest and i've never been satisfied with the work they do. Nailsbysia is literally a game changer! Shes so fun to talk to and definitely will listen to what you want, as well as delivering the perfect nails. I'll probably be coming here for the rest of my life haha.
