Deceptive, dishonest, and dangerous -- avoid this dealership at all costs. I bought a 2014 Volkswagen GTI from this dealership. It was listed at $8,500, but after all the added fees -- including a $799 "reconditioning fee" for a supposed mechanic inspection -- I ended up paying nearly $11,000. I was assured the car was fully inspected and road-ready. That was a lie. After bringing the car home (a 1.5-hour drive), I discovered a shocking number of serious issues: * Control arms are rusted and rotted * Rear shocks are blown * Clutch is failing * Tires are dry rotted * Rust and bondo under the front fenders * Passenger windows don't work from the driver door * Rear doors don't lock * Missing headlight and reverse light assemblies * No bulbs in key lights * Windshield wipers are completely dry rotted * Frame has rust holes * Speaker is blown * **AND the car has no valid New Jersey state inspection -- it's almost 4 years overdue. This car was never properly inspected. It should not have been sold, period. I made multiple attempts to return it, and the dealership even admitted to my fiancé that they "overlooked" things and offered to refund the $799 -- clearly incriminating themselves and proving the inspection never happened. What makes this worse is the fact that I had to drive an hour and a half home in this car, completely unaware of how unsafe it was. Something could have gone terribly wrong. I could've been hurt, or worse -- someone else could have been. That's how serious this is. This dealership's negligence and dishonesty put lives at risk. Please don't come here to buy a car! They will be sweet and nice until they get you to buy a car. If you want warranty, you have to pay most dealers give you at least a 90 day warranty! But I bought a car from them on Saturday and by Monday the dashboard was telling me that the car needed to be serviced! I don't even know where to begin with this review. I'm sharing this out of sheer frustration and to caution others considering buying a vehicle from this dealership. I found a car online and visited the dealership on June 18th. Upon inspection, the car had a check engine light and a severe vibration, so I opted not to test drive it. I asked Bill, the sales rep, when these issues would be fixed so I could return for a test drive. He assured me it would be ready by June 21st after being serviced. It concerned me that the car had been on their lot for a month with unresolved issues, but I overlooked it. When I called on June 24th, Maria (possibly the office manager and also in sales) informed me they couldn't fix the car without a deposit, which was non-refundable--a major red flag. Despite my reservations, this car fit my budget best, so I left a $1,000 deposit on June 27th to initiate repairs. The next day, June 28th, I returned and paid $10,000, as agreed upon during my initial visit. Since I had already left $1,000 the day before, I expected it to be refunded but no one could write me a check so I had to come back. Bill told me they hadn't started repairs due to other cars ahead in line, all with deposits. This made me regret my decision--they seemed to sell cars without servicing them first, relying on non-refundable deposits to hold customers hostage. I received the $1,000 deposit back on July 2nd. Bill (service Manager/ owner) me the car would be ready by July 5th, but today I was told it won't be ready until Monday. Frustrated, I asked Maria for a refund so I could buy a car ready for immediate use. Her response was dismissive, blaming my impatience and refusing to refund my money until the car was ready. I paid $10,000 to this dealership and received nothing but poor customer service and deceptive practices. I needed a car specifically for this week and instead, I'm renting, taking Ubers, and out $10,000. This dealership is a disappointment and their business practices are unethical. read more

My boyfriend bought a truck from you guys in May and it's now July and we still have no title. Thousands of dollars have been spent on this truck already just to keep it even driving on the road. The truck has been towed not only the day bought but multiple times after. The mileage on the trucks computer is different then what the dash is reading. When I took the car to the mechanic shop that they are associated with, they kept my car for two weeks and put 223 miles on it. I literally feel so used and taken advantage of because there is no amount of work that would amount to them putting over 200 miles on my vehicle. The owner Billy wasn't too bad to work with but my suggestion to you is, make sure you get everything in writing, especially the warranty, and if you do have to drop your vehicle off, take a picture of your mileage before you leave your car because someone was definitely joy riding! I purchased a vehicle 01/14/2023, which needed to be brought back to Pristine Auto Group 02/03/23 because it clearly had issues at the time of purchase which should have been disclosed to me at the point of sale. Three times I have been told by the dealership that my vehicle was repaired, each time that was proven false. After leaving the mechanic for the first time, my vehicle needed to be pulled over on the GSP because the gears froze. Two other attempts were made to fix my vehicle, and I drove up there 2 times but each time left without my vehicle because it was not able to go into drive. It does not take 30 days to repair a car, and it does not take 3 "attempts" to fix it. I also paid $499.00 extra for a warranty that they voided, yet still did work claiming it was under warranty. I only found out about the voided warranty because I called the warranty company. They also took a $100.00 warranty deposit from me, even though they had never even submitted a claim to the warranty company. That is fraud, and deception. I have proof that Billy told the warranty place he voided it in error. Billy is a liar and tries to manipulate the customers into falling for his games. I do not want anyone else to have to deal with what I went through. Let this be a warning to everyone. The cars are only cheap because they will scam you out of more money in the future. This place was very unprofessional and it's doing fraud! I've set up an appointment with them to bring the car to mechanic to ensure everything is working properly.. the day of the appointment came and I was on time, even contacted them before going to mechanic they said everything was according to schedule. Upon arriving I am waiting and call to see why they aren't coming the lady tells me that the sales representatives are busy and that if we can reschedule for another time after 4 days on being told it was a go. The mechanic was nearby the dealer so I decided to drive there to see what is going, upon arriving all of the sales representatives are sitting down not with clients and even the lady I spoke to on the phone whom assured everyone was busy was sitting down doing nothing. THEY HAD THE CAR OPEN WITH THEIR MECHANIC TRYING TO FIX IT SO WHEN THEY BROUGHT IT TO MY MECHANIC IT WOULD PASS. NEVER WAS I TOLD THERE WAS ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR. On top I gave a deposit as I was committed to getting the car and once I saw everything and all of the funny things they were doing I told the lady I just wanted to cancel, she stated ok but you will loose the deposit! Did not care I caught them trying to fix up a car last minute to pass an inspection that they previously assured me it was good to buy... for sure doing fraud and scamming their customer, I was lied to and very disgusted with the way they do business please DO NOT GO HERE!! read more

Where to start or what to say about this completely unprofessional Auto Group. I found a car on Facebook and followed all links to apply for financing on a 2014 vehicle. Upon looking further into there inventory I found a 2015 with a little less miles and better color options so I just wrote an email on the one I liked better off their website explaining I had submitted an application on the 2014 already but would like the option to try for the 2015 instead. A few hours later I received a call from a Kim from her personal cell phone explaining she got my email of interest on the 2015. I expressed to her that I was interested in the 2015 but they have an application on the 2014 already if she could just switch the inventory on application. She said she would look into it once she got into work shortly and be in touch. I waited over 6 hours and didn't hear anything so I texted Kim (862) 353-2133 ) She responded that she had an emergency all the sudden and hadn't even got to the deal yet. I said no worries as I had found two more closer in CT (where I am located and from). Then all the sudden the deal started working. Went another whole day with nothing really happening then today I was told the bank wanted more down. My initial down payment was only $1500 as who lets the bank really know what they want to give up upon buying a car. You never just lay the cards out for a dealership either. So I asked what did the bank request? Kim wouldn't answer that question for me. I said I can come up to $2200. Left in silence for hours again. Finally I texted again after getting out of work and Kim wouldn't still tell me what the bank was asking for till I finally asked her why wasn't I allowed to know what the bank wanted down. She came back with $5000. I said that wasn't bad and I asked if they used a down payment assist company called SnapFinance as I was approved with them for some of the $5000 and I could come up with the rest. Kim goes silent. So I decide to call. The initial girl on phone had me on speaker with all sorts of crazy background noise. I asked to speak to Kim and she finally came on the line. I asked what was going on with the deal and if they worked with SnapFinance. Kim said no they didn't work with that bank. I explained it wasn't a bank but yet a company to help people get down payments etc for all sorts of things. Then she got all rude saying she would call me back as the bank wasn't gonna give them a net check for what they wanted for the car. The bank basically wasn't authorizing the price tag they were so inflated on so she would have to work the deal better with other options/banks etc. I said if the bank was asking for $5000 and I can come up with it what's the issue..?? The problem is the bank may have wanted $5000 down but they deemed the car not worthy of the inflated price they wanted which would have them not getting a net check they wanted to sell it for. Crooks from jump I see and hear in my ear at this point. I tell Kim that I have bought over 315 cars and I am trying to assist her in getting the deal done but with her being a rude bit** to me that I wasn't interested in the car that wasn't valued at what they wanted for it. Very unprofessional place I set up appointment and deposit to pick up Acura RSX type s on Saturday after I spoke to billy and saulo about how's the condition of the car if the have any rust or modification and the told me the car don't have any rust only and only cold air intake modification and the know I was coming 4 hours away wen I get there and check the car find out the lie to me both rear quarter panel have rust plus the last owner looks like did bunch modifications wrong the car not only have cosmetic issues the need a lot body work and mechanical work hood don't close headlight bracket are broke most of the part inside and outside they car are lose or missing screws and tap engine light is on and the ac compresor don't work engine have oil leak and missing parts that's car belongs to the junker really waste my time 8 hours drive and my money $200 deposit because the lie to me don't trust this ppl read more
