    September 1, 2021 Dealer Manager Garden State Honda 225 River Drive Passaic, NJ 07055 Dear Mr. Hall Once again I am writing you in regards to my dissatisfaction of service at your dealership and my conversation with you on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 about my car and your unwillingness to hear me out because of my tone, lack of gentlemen ship and my use of profanity. However, I should have never been pushed to this point because of miscommunication and the incompetence of your employees who have no regards for customer satisfaction. Although you assigned Kenny to handle the replacement of my tires and rims. Kenny never offered me a loaner car and said he only needed the car for a couple days. After dropping the car off on Wednesday evening August 25, 2021 and speaking to Walter on August 28 who was under the impression from Kenny that I was bringing the car the following week. However, I received an email confirmation for an appointment for Thursday August 26, 2021 at 8:30am. After speaking to Walter on Saturday August 28, 2021 I was told he needed an additional two days and Kenny offered me a loaner car which I was never offered. Otherwise, I would have picked it up the evening I dropped my car off. It was also after my conversation with Walter that I found out the rims were being sent out to be refurbished and the reason for the dely. Something that should have been communicated to me from the beginning. In addition, Kenny refuses to return my calls and after being transferred to his line three times on August 30, 2021, I was hung up on twice with the third call going to a voice mail which I assumed was his because there wasn't any greeting message saying it was. Also on Wednesday August 28, 2021 I picked up my plates and registration which your dealership provided and charged me however, my registration had the wrong mailing address. The ladies at the registration window took my phone number and said they would get back to me however, as of today I still have not received a call from them. I called DMV and had the address change even though I paid your dealership to handle. After speaking with you on Tuesday, it's obvious where your employees get their attitudes, lack of professionalism and communication skills and disregard for customer satisfaction. Especially after you arrogantly told me, "I'll call you when your car is ready." "You can come and pick up your car on a tow truck." To me that was just as bad as any tone or profanity I used and the reason why your dealership only scores 2 1/2 stars on Yelp. Like I said before, "it's folks like me that keeps you and your employees employed and your families housed and fed. Also keep in mind that no matter how much commercial advertising you do, word of mouth is still king; especially in this world of social media that can promote or destroy a product or career. After I get my car back, I will no longer be dealing with your dealership and Honda which is a great product has been dropped from my list for my new car purchase in the fall. CC: Senior Vice President and General Manager, Honda Division Chief Executive President of Honda North America This horrendous experience has stolen my son's joy and excitement which is his right as a consumer but a valuable lesson learned on how black folks are "dealt" with by car dealerships. I still have not heard back from Honda Corporation. Hopefully, this is not the norm.

    **UPDATED Review** I see Fette Ford now has Mobile Service…read more So I decided to try it out for my basic service appointment. They were on time & made several phone calls to make sure I was aware of them arriving. 2 Professional Service techs. not just 1 guy... 2 Guys. Very friendly. they told me about how long the visit would be, they did the Basic Service on the spot. took care of my needs at my location. A+ all around here. No issues, & like always gave me a readout & list of what they see I will soon need & or should address. This is the service you want from a dealer. I was impressed. & I'll be sure to try to do this Mobile service again. Thanks Guys - *6 Months Ago Review - (A Service Review of my most recent visit to Fette Ford ) Such a sad experience for such a long standing dealership. First, No one calls you back after you leave messages just simply looking for updates. No matter if it's the service advisor or the Service Manager. They had my car 2 weeks, to do warranty work - torque converter, front camera sensor & front breaks. Waited a week for the torque converter for my 2019 Edge. I was told they do not provide any loaner cars anymore. however, I was also told they were waiting on the camera, then after that was installed, they said that the bracket was broken & that the warranty would not approve of the bracket so they replaced the bracket. I was then told the bracket was $88 & that I'd have to pay that. I DID NOT approve of the replacement of this bracket. after telling them I would not be paying for this. I said I'd kindly split the cost with them. They agreed, as I drive off... I soon realize that my car seemed to make a sound after a complete stop. I return the Edge on Monday first thing in the morning before work, I was called back saying it was a loose bolt, it was fixed! However... I drive off yet again.. still making the same noise. I waited for 15-20 mins to have a service manager take a test drive with me so they can hear the sound. only after this.. did they realize that it needed motor mounts. 3 Weeks Total they had my Edge. a Ford Edge at 57K miles needing motor mounts? NOW READY FOR THE BEST PART of this Review... I was alerted on my Ford App that my car was no longer located at Fette Ford after closing hours. It was 12 miles away in Wayne NJ. I tracked it down to it's location. By morning it was tracked back at Fette Ford. After mentioning this.. I was told that this was not the case & no one drives customers vehicles home. I was told that I must of read it wrong & my tracking must of been off, because they "Checked The Cameras" & it did not leave the dealership. Soooo, from the last time I drove my car to the time I drove off the lot... My Edge now had 33 NEW miles on it. NO ONE TEST DRIVES A VEHICLE a total of 33 Miles!!!! I was Lied to. I trusted they would take care of me & my vehicle. I will NO LONGER be leaving my vehicle at Fette Ford/Kia/Infiniti over night. I no longer can trust a word they tell me. Be aware If you deal with Fette Ford's Service Department. They have a great Sales Manager in Chris... who took care of me when I purchased.. & who I called when I was looking for a call back after 10 Days. Such a bad experience!!!

    I contacted the dealer via car gurus. I advised I wanted to come look at a minivan, but I was…read moreseveral hours away. I had asked them to confirm the power doors and engine fan worked. I also asked for undercarriage pictures. They told me they will ensure with the manager that all the power doors and fan work and set me up an appt time. They did send me some undercarriage pictures before going. They were dark but what I could tell it was alright. I drove 3 hours to get down there and neither power door worked except manually. The the dvd player has buttons missing making it hard to operate. The rear seats wouldn't lock right, the one release for the middle seat was broken. I asked to take another for a ride as well. Again the sliding doors would only work manually. The cables were broken. When I brought this up I was told " it's an easy fix". But I know it's it and that's why they didn't fix it and mentioned this. I made an offer on the vehicle which would account for the items I found wrong and they wouldn't budge. They also advised, after asking, if there were additional fees and they said no. When they drew up the paper there was a near $800 title, registration, and documentation fee on there. I'm from out of state and those fees should be paid to my state. So I felt lied to that they said they would ensure the doors worked, there were no additional fees. I feel they thought if I took the three hours to drive there,I wouldn't leave empty handed. But I did. I told them my total budget allotted including taxes and kept trying to push different methods of me paying the difference such as they will pay and I just pay them. Nope. I told them several times I only have X amount. I offered what I felt was fair (about $1500 less). Nice people but bad practices. (The 2 stars is for their accomodations of showing me the second vehicle.)

    Gave one star and thats too much, they are scam artists, advertising cars that are in perfect…read morecondition and are actually not, sell you metal box that is worthless, sold me a car with bad alternator, bad transmission and bad brakes, and claim that once I left the dealership they are not responsible to the car, never send me the title , so I could never register the car. Don't buy car from there , it's all cars from trading and repo auctions.
