Not impressed. Normally a carpet cleaner will shampoo under potted plants and small furniture and then prop them up using plastic supports or sheets. Pristine did not, they just shampooed around everything and never used plastic to protect the furniture. They picked up a chair and put it on the bed. I was so happy with their service. The price amount quoted and when they said 2 people would be coming, everything was as stated on the phone. They performed a quick dry carpet cleaning service which the carpet was dry in a couple of hours not days! My carpet looked so clean! I appreciated their professionalism and fast service. I have used several carpet cleaning companies with mixed results. And it seems like every time someone comes to do the work we agreed upon, the price is NEVER what was quoted. Pristine carpet cleaning called me on a telemarketing campaign, but the woman I spoke with was so nice, understood what my concerns were, and assured me what we agreed to is what I would pay that I agreed to give them a shot. And, she was RIGHT, and it makes me really happy to say that. The two guys who did the work were really nice, called me because they might be a little late because of traffic, and did the BEST job EVER on my carpets. They got spots out that no other cleaner has been able to, steamed my per go floors to perfection, and spot cleaned my upholstery. These guys are awesome. We have them out every six months and they do an awesome job. Always great technicians, super respectful and they take their job really seriously so they always do great work. A few months ago, my friend's dog ran in my house and crapped on my carpet. Amazing work!! This company works miracles! Seriously!!! My carpet was such a mess due to my cute little kitty (in the photo) throwing up furballs, etc. Plus normal good old dirt. They got it all clean and looking like new. It is steam cleaned. I have used this company for years.... And stayed during new ownership. I've always received a good job at a fair price. However, this last service occurred during the Canyon 2 fire. It was a unique situation as the air got more and more smoky and it became clear we couldn't use typical techniques for drying. The reason I mention the fire is that as it was unfolding, I realized that friends would be coming here during their evacuation. The owner went into "crisis mode" as he provided protection for the carpets to accommodate this unusual situation and helped expedite the process. Sam did an excellent job cleaning all the carpet in our house (5 bedrooms, living room, dining room, hallway & stairs) plus a sofa & loveseat, an office chair, 5 dining chairs, a large area rug and 3 small rugs. He also came back a week later and cleaned the tile in two bathrooms and a hallway. The carpets & upholstery hadn't been cleaned in over 3 years, and Sam was able to get spots & stains out that other cleaning companies were unable to remove. Everything he did was top-notch. I used Pristine about 5 years ago and they were really good--carpet looked great...got out old stains and my carpet looked like new after they were finished. This time with 2 guys who were polite and nice, it just seemed like a once over. They did get out a plant stain but overall, the carpet cleaning wasn't as thorough as the first time we used them. They seemed very relunctant to move anything unless I showed them and even then, with my back turned, didn't bother to move 2 boxes just to give it a complete cleaning in that area. Seems they just get some guys to move the carpet cleaning vacuum around but they have no vested interest in customer satisfaction. Unfortunately upon my referral before I had my carpet done, my daughter used them too and had the same results but worse--it didn't look any different than before they came. I discovered Pristine several years ago after getting gouged for many hundreds of dollars by other companies. I use no one but Pristine now, and am always happy with the results. This time, the tech was very thorough, even moving smaller tables & things I didn't require be moved. He was exactly on time, and finished in 2 hours (big house). This is the third or fourth time I have used Pristine Carpet cleaning and have not been disappointed yet. From making the appointment (Lady was super professional), then I called again day before to reconfirm they were coming (can you tell I have been burned by contractors many times)... they told me that they would have called the night before to confirm anyway!!! I have every expensive exotic wood furniture and asked that it be noted to be careful. Two men showed up at the EXACT time scheduled and asked me to walk through with them and show them areas of concern etc. etc. they also told me that they were made aware of my furniture and would take extra precautions. I am a very very particular about my carpet, we don't wear shoes in the house and I have the Ultra Stain Master carpet, my carpet looks refreshed and BRAND NEW (6 years old).... price quoted is the price paid.........they are awesome and yes, I would use them again and again and recommend to friends! read more

Pristine has been cleaning my carpets for years. The problem is not with their carpet cleaning but with their lax scheduling. If you can get them to show up, they do a great job. However, this review needs to be written. For the third time today, Pristine did not show up at the agreed upon time. Pristine was supposed to be at my house 2 hours ago. I have called the office and get a machine. No one has called to let me know they are running late or are not able to clean my carpets as agreed upon over the phone. This has happened more than once. One time, they didn't call or even show up. Once again, i am left hanging. I will not be calling them again. Hopefully, I am the exception to the rule and not the norm. I have never written a scathing review on yelp, but I do think this is warranted. Clearly, running an efficient and professional business is not their top priority. read more

I called their customer service and the experience ruined my day. The man on the phone was unfriendly, rude, and unaccomodating. What's more, the price he quoted me for was totally different from what's on the website. The worst part is that when i pointed this out to him, he told me straight that he didn't feel like cleaning my house. All he wants is money and doesn't care about the satisfaction of the customers. Its up to you if you want to deal with this kind of thing, but i wont because there are tons of other cleaning companies are much more decent than this. I actually worked for Prestine a little while back. It is a horrible company. He tells the workers to just get in and out as quick as possible even if the employee wants to take his time and do a good job. He doesn't take very good care of his equipment or his employees for that matter by not providing things such as gloves, masks, or any of the proper safety supplies. His run down machines make the job very dangerous for the workers and even the customers because his vans are very old, have a lot of problems and seem to emit high amount of carbon manoxide. read more

I was disappointed with Pristine Carpet Cleaning. I was hoping to get all the dirt out of my carpets after seeing all the before and after photos online. My carpets weren't that bad, you know. But they came, didn't wear shoe covers after tramping all around between my patio and the carpet, and when they said they were done after putting everything away it didn't look much different than when they started. You could still see strong traffic marks in the carpet. I asked them to get a spot that they missed, and then they ran over the worst spots again with extra cleaner and it came right out! Hello, that should have been part of the original service. Their second go around that I had to specifically ask for didn't cover all the worst spots, so there are still spots of dirt on the carpet after they left. I just felt like they had no attention to detail, which is important in a carpet cleaner. Oh, and they were an hour late :(. read more

It started 3 days before Thanksgiving. I have used this company for years to do carpet cleaning and even though they had raised their prices, I expected the same service. I was wrong. Whatever integrity this company once possessed, it seems to have lost its way. I have always had an agreement that stain removal was to be included in the price. This time the person they sent tried to upsell me on something that should have continued to be included. I went from paying $99 to $110 to this time $149 and last last time, was just a big disappointment. After 3 phone calls, and a lot of smart mouth back talk from their scheduler, the scheduler called me back, and booked a return appointment to do the stains that had been refused before. The person showed up, did not ring the doorbell, did not call. My husband was upstairs in the office. I was on my way home with my cell phone. When I got home, I noticed a card on the front step with Pristine on the front, but no name, no number no message. I called that day. No answer. I called again yesterday and a totally new person who was difficult to understand and had difficulty understanding me answered the phone. She said she would leave a message for the owner, but I have yet to hear from the owner. I still have stains on my carpet which should have been handled a month ago. read more

I have used Pristine exclusively for the past several years and have always been very happy with the job they did. This time however, their crew went above and beyond what I could have expected. Just before Christmas, we had a huge pet disaster. I did the best I could to take care of it, but it was bad. I called Pristine and spoke to the receptionist about the problem, and she was on it. She was very sympathetic and needed to call me back, but she called within a few minutes to offer me an appointment the same day! I just know they juggled the schedule for me. The guys came, they were nice (I wouldn't have been given the situation) and did an amazing job. The carpet cleaned without any residual stain, it was dry within a couple of hours, and the odor was gone. I am so grateful to have these guys in my list of "go to people". I know that when I call them I will get a reliable, respectful, reasonable and quality job from a company that cares enough about their customers to come through for you in a pinch.
