Off the bat, we will admit that this was the first time we have ever hired cleaners to clean our house. With that said, we're not really sure how this cleaning company would compare to others. We contacted pristine cleaners on Sunday after we moved into our new rental house. As it turned out, our property manager had a very different opinion of what clean meant compared to our definition of the word. When we moved in initially, the rental house was disgusting. There were fingerprints on every doorknob, dust along every baseboard and tufts of dog hair left waiting for our arrival all along the floor. And Sunday afternoon, we contacted this company and asked if they could come to our house the next day. We received a phone call quickly after we left the initial voicemail. Thankfully, they happily arranged to come out on Monday to clean our place and quoted us a price of $75 an hour. I'm Sunday night, the cleaners sent a text message to my phone confirming the appointment, and two cleaners arrived promptly the next day within the window they said that they would show up at our house. Both cleaners were friendly, and they brought all of their own cleaning supplies with them. It took them both 3 1/2 hours to clean our four-bedroom house, and when they were done they both looked exhausted. But, our house was gorgeous. After they were finished, I no longer felt disgusted to touch any surface in the house. All in all, for the first time cleaning experience, this went really well. I found Pristine one Angie's List. I wasn't sure what to expect but I thought I'd give them a shot. Three girls came they dusted the blinds (which I haven't done since I've lived in my home), cleaned the baseboards, wiped down the leather couches, vacuumed, did the dishes, cleaned the wood floor, cleaned the stairway railing, scrubbed the showers/toilets, plus some. Never showed up, never called. I Scheduled a move out clean the day before handing over the keys. I told Lorenzo how important it was that the house get cleaned and that the crew show up on time. They were no shows forcing me to hand over a dirty house and have the cleaning be taken out of my security deposit. I guess they just don't value what they must think are one time customers. I had Pristine come to clean up my dirty house run by 3 doggies this last week. They showed up within the expected window and went right upstairs and got to work. They did a beautiful job in the bathrooms and kitchen and got my glass shower door cleaner than I could ever get it myself. They dusted and even cleaned our toothbrush holder, coffee pot, and knife block. I was really pleased overall and they were done within 3 hours. The only constructive feedback I have is that when vacuuming, the areas where the carpet meets the baseboards should be vacuumed and corners of rooms should be vaccumed. Sometimes dog hair and dust collect there and I ended up detailing that myself with the hose extension of my own vacuum. I think that would have really put them over the top and delivered even more of a wow factor. I am still planning to call them to come back though for move out cleaning I'll need in a few months. I bought a groupon and two women came for 1.5 hours. We had only moved in some stuff, but they got 3 bathrooms, and three bedrooms cleaned in that time. They were very nice and receptive to me asking them to clean certain things. They had trouble with directions so they were about 20min late, but they apologized and stayed the allotted time. read more

We had 2 gals from Pristine clean our home this week. We are seniors and not capable of keeping up our large family home very well anymore. Scheduling was simple and we were set up for several days later. I was impressed that someone answered the business phone in the evening! Anyway, Benetu and Iluvia cleaned for us. They were very nice, kept on task, and were eager to please! Unfortunately we did not hire them for as long as was needed so we had to pick and choose what should be done. Most of the areas were done very well. I need to communicate my expectations better. The house was very dirty when they came and looked much better when they were done! Next time we will allow for more hours and we will have some deep cleaning done as well. It is challenging to have someone else do work for me as no one does it the way I would. But since I cannot do it, I need to be grateful and accepting of their work and not be critical. I appreciated the follow up text the next day from the company! I purchased the a Groupon in November 2010. In February 2011 I called Pristine to make an appointment for my cleaning. I spoke with Ana. I was told in February that there were no appointments available until April 2011. I had wanted the cleaning by the beginning of March. I checked my calendar and agreed to have my cleaning scheduled for Friday April 22 at noon (it is Good Friday and I would be off from work). I received a voicemail today around noon from Katelin, first asking if I wanted an additional maid for $50 and then stating if I wanted the additional maid I would have reschedule. I called Katelin back and she informs me that my appointment, which I have waited TWO months for, has to be cancelled and rescheduled. I said I made this appointment two months ago and she proceeds to tell me that the Groupon stated based on availability. Who are they kidding? I made the appointment based on THEIR availability. I asked to speak with the manager, who called me back. Ana said she made Groupon aware of their problem and has been trying to hire people all week. I explained that it was poor customer service to cancel 48 hours prior since this is a holiday weekend and I am having company. It didn't matter, there were no maids for me this Friday. I asked for my money back and am now contacting you. I feel this company is ignoring the Groupon people for full price customers. read more
