Im so disappointed with this place and not sure if they have 4+ star reviews .I have lighter chestnut brown hair Samantha didn't listen and did the darkest brown .I had to ask to match my root color with sample seriously . No consultation she started painting my scalp . I didn't ask for eyebrow tint but she kept pushing me usually I do eyebrow tint at my brow place only . I thought ok lets try here and she did the darkest brown black eyebrow tint . Their hair wash bowl was so uncomfortable that girl didn't know anything about adjusting accordingly and no hot water . I now have stains of hair color on my cheeks forehead and below the ear . I loved my previous place but the girl moved out of state she was the great professional .I wanted to try this place they sucked . There was another women next to my harsh station she said u are right their hair wash so uncomfortable I myself woke up in neck and back pain . when I go to hair place it's calming relaxing . Samantha was so rough with hair wash her nails were hurting my scalp and all water was under my shirt and neck . she didn't know what was she doing . what a Messy place . She blends my greys and brunettes seamlessly so that it looks like I'm one of the lucky few with a natural perfect blend of white, grey and brunette. Spoiler, I'm not. I have been having my hair cut here for a few months. But this last cut showed me how great they are, especially Christine. The day after, I had a severe bunny bite on my wrist severing a vein. Five stitches later, I was ready to go, but wondering how I was going to do my hair. As I went to blow dry it, it was already hanging exactly as I wanted it. I only had to do a minute or two to finish the drying, which was easier on my hand. The people here are caring and really expert at their jobs. I had gone to a stylist in Danville for years but I didn't want to do weft extensions again, I wanted keratin bonds and she came highly recommended. I love her style because it's clear she plays with multiple tones, lights, and darks to create very natural look. With her eye she was able to make my new blonde hair fit right in with my extremely tan skin. What I love most is she worked with the picture I sent her and included her own flair to make the look even better, by consulting with me about how I would want the end result to be and the realistic expectations I should have. I have struggled to find stylists who can work with my difficult curly hair, but I struck gold upon being referred to Christine at Pristine Styles by a friend whose curly hair looked amazing after a cut by her. I was not dissapointed in my results. Christine and Glenn do phenomenal work with curly hair (they get it!!) and their tips and tricks (which in all my years I had not learned from any other stylist), have helped me achieve gorgeous curls with ease. Unfortunately my second visit did not go so well, this visit was to get me to a lighter shade of blonde which was our goal from my very first visit. I knew that wouldn't be possible all in one go for my first visit because I came in with very dark, box dye hair - so we set another appointment for a bit over a month after the first. My hair was so badly damaged after this appointment that Christine couldn't get a huge chunk of it to even dry with a blow dryer- and she tried for quite a long time. Not only that, but she acted like she had no idea why that was occurring. Obviously assuming I didn't understand hair well enough- or quite possibly not understanding it herself which I doubt. I am still suffering from immense breakage to this day because of this hair appointment. Not only that I was direct in letting her know I liked the way my roots looked and didn't want them bleached or touched up- the ever so slightly grown out look was the perfect shadow root for me. She decided to dye it brown from my natural roots to the start of the mids of my hair shaft. She told me this would blend the roots and blonde especially as my hair grew out. If anything it just made me leave the salon with my roots like 4 times as grown out looking, like I had been neglecting to touch them up for several months on end. I have no idea why she did that, and before she did she told me she was just going to blend the blonde and the roots I came in with together a bit. On top of that the "blending" of the roots was entirely uneven around my entire head and still appears that way to this day. Ive since dyed my hair blue, the weird grown-out-roots look with the blonde just looked really bad. And I don't know how many times I stated I didn't like the ash blonde look and I left my final appointment with ash blonde hair that wouldn't dry and very odd uneven roots that I didn't ask for. Her attitude was very pleasant and everyone in the salon was sweet but this service has left me upset for months on end. I personally wouldn't recommend it to anyone now after appointment #2, which is disappointing because I felt like this was going to be my new go-to salon after my first appointment. read more

She helped me chop off my pregnancy hair to send away to make a wig for my cousin, and left me with a beautiful style that is forever immortalized in my family photos. A+ Facial! I recently received a facial from Glenn at Pristine Hair Salon. I already go to Glenn for my hair, so I knew I could trust his knowledge and expertise. I was nervous because my skin is very sensitive to new products and I didn't want to have an allergic reaction. In retrospect, I am very pleased with the facial and impressed with the results. I highly recommend going to Pristine Salon for skin care if you want long-lasting results with non-invasive procedures and high quality products. Atmosphere: The private room was clean and relaxing. The chair was comfortable and I was provided with a warm comforter so I didn't get cold. Glenn made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. He communicated before hand the process and what to expect which made me feel at ease. He explained what he was doing and which products he was using every step of the way. Process: I am almost 40 years old, and have some wrinkles around my eyes, mouth, and some hyperpigmentation. The facial focused on exfoliation, skin tightening/brightening, and deep moisturization. The parts I was not familiar with were the cold plasma pen . Glenn explained that it can feel a little intense so he put some cream on my face to numb the skin. The plasma pen was different from any other facial I have ever received! It was not painful, but I could definitely feel something happening. Whatever it was, it was strangely relaxing! Results: Immediately after the facial, I could see glowing results. My skin was brighter, tighter, and so soft. The hyperpigmentation on my cheeks, mouth, and forehead wasn't gone, but had improved. 5 days later, the wrinkles around my eyes and mouth have noticeably improved. Products: Like I said, my skin is very sensitive, and I was nervous about using new products. However, the products he used (a cleanser, rose toner, and moisturizer with SPF) were AMAZING. The ingredients are simple and uncomplicated, and WOW did my skin look and feel incredible afterward. I had zero reaction to the products afterwards beside one small pimple on my forehead, which I think is pretty common as a facial can bring impurities to the surface.
