The most gentle manicure I've ever had with a nice massage and lotion! She said my nails were damaged, so she only hand-filed them. Thuy has been in the nail business for 8 years! The most important thing she said is keeping your nails healthy. Incorrect application or over grinding can weaken and lift the nail. And she makes sure to focus on the client without distractions, which you don't always see at salons! She also makes sure you are hydrated and offers drinks during your service. She got really annoyed with me & said I should have looked up photos on my phone first. I said "oh well can you file them a little?" She seemed quite annoyed (there were no other customers waiting) but filed them to be rounded. I was happy with the result. She also seemed upset with me quite a few times because my fingers weren't relaxed. I apologized to her & said I wasn't used to having my nails done. Overall, she was very unfriendly. My wife brought the issue to their attention and they basically seemed unconcerned. If a regular customer makes an appointment and shows up on time, I don't understand how a walk-in gets put ahead of them. But taking a walk-in ahead of someone who already has an appointment, and then not seeming to care when the customer complains, is different. My family has been coming here regularly, so this was a pretty disappointing way for loyal customers to be treated.
