We were assigned Reena and Roderick as our main photographer and videographer, and Ben and Tuck as the secondary photographer and videographer. They gave such clear direction to ensure the photos came out the way we wanted. All 4 of them were respectful, professional and very accommodating. We had an extensive list of photo combinations we wanted with the bridal party, our parents, wedding sponsors, and extended family and the Dean Michaels team managed to capture every single moment. I'd ask Reena last minute if we could take pictures at different locations and she would be so accommodating and the photos came out perfect. We are so glad we went with Dean Michaels. Initial meeting - After calling a company who must have had Calvin Harris djing for him with his rates We found Ernest and realized his rates were right in our budget! both my fiance and I live in Virginia but we got married in New Jersey. So we didn't have a lot of free time to set up meetings. Ernest scheduled on the exact day we were going to be in town and was a pleasure to have lunch with. Immediately we knew we wanted to use him. Songs and song choices- my fiance and I delayed getting this to them until about a week before the wedding. To make it even worse we sent them about 10 songs and the wedding party / first dance songs.. Never once did he get upset, check in on us, or say he couldn't do anything. It was all met with a "great or no problem" in fact he even took my call on a random Tuesday night because we had no idea how to do the scheduling. He helped with all of that!!!! Wedding- well let's just say that everyone danced their booties off!!! With a very diverse family including kids he managed to work in poppy songs for the kids, 60's & 70's songs for the adults, dance/ rap for us and our friends.. We got compliments on how great of a job they did. Keep in mind that 10 song list I sent was done so he knew what type of music we wanted to listen to. At 10 songs it's hard to fill 3 hours of dancing and Ernest picked songs that blended perfect and everyone enjoyed. If you've made it this far reading, thank you! Oscar and Loance both went above and beyond to make sure our experience was absolutely perfect, there was nothing I would have changed! We did our engagement photos with both Oscar and Loance, my husband was so nervous about posing and looking too stiff, but both of them made us feel so at ease, and helped to pose us so we looked effortlessly amazing! They kept us laughing the whole time, and it was just such a fun experience. On our wedding day, Oscar and his crew were incredible. They jumped right into getting all their shots done at our house before the ceremony. Within minutes of meeting them, my mother pulled me aside asking "Sophia where did you find them, They are seriously amazing". Because she was already in awe of how efficient and talented they are. She was stunned. I had myself plus 11 bridesmaids, my godmother and my mother at the house, and he was able to wrangle us all for pictures so quickly, and get everything done so efficiently it blew my mind. None of us had to feel like we were standing around for hours waiting for photos. At the ceremony and reception everything continued perfectly. I haven't gotten all our photos back yet, but the ones we did blew me away. It was everything I had hoped for them to be, and they captured everything I could imagine. For the bridal party photos, Oscar was amazing at once again wrangling our huge bridal party and family, and getting every shot in quickly and easily. One of my bridesmaids was almost 8 months pregnant, and he was able to get all his shots in quickly so she didn't have to stand outside in the heat. More than anything, I so appreciated the friendly attitude and flexibility of this company. I never once felt like I was being an inconvenience, and I felt like any concerns, questions or changes I had were heard. The staff at our venue was causing some issues, and my maid of honor witnessed Oscar standing up to the event coordinator to make sure everything we had been promised from the venue would happen. I can not express how much I appreciated that, it truly felt like they were there to back us up and make sure our day was so perfect. I would recommend this company 1,000 times over. They exceeded all expectations. So many guests commented on how fun and bubbly Oscar was, and they all love the photos.
