5 stars baby! I came here about a week ago (dec 22) to get a christmas present for my boyfriend. I had originally went to sports authority honolulu to look for a nike SQ machspeed 9.5 LEFT HANDED driver! & might i add, a left handed anything is hard to find! But of course sports authority didnt have it. Then i called sports authority waikele... nothing. Roger dunn pearl city... nothing. Roger dunn honolulu... nothing. Pro am honolulu... dun dun dunnnnn! SCORE! First might i say, the associates in there are great. But daniel, the one who helped me, was fantastic. He was nice, funny, & very helpful!!! I first asked him if they had the SQ machspeed & they did, but he showed me the newest one, but the older one was in my budget. So he found that one but in a right handed. Then i said i needed a left handed & found that one instantly, but in a 10.5. Told him i needed a 9.5 & he sarcastically funnily said "what else do you want from me?" Haha. He found the 9.5 & proceeded to grab the wrench for it, which of course i didnt know drivers needed wrenches. Haha. He proceeded to check me out, gave me a gift receipt even though i didnt ask for one, which was great! Daniel then over heard me & my brother talking saying "now we gotta find a box for it" & what does daniel bring out? The last nike box to put my bfs new driver in!!! Overall, great experience & now i know pro am is the place to go for my boyfriends gifts! Thank you soooo much daniel! My boyfriend loves loves loves loves the driver! 5 STARS baby!! read more

Taka and Tommy are the go to guys if you want awesome club repair done or just a quick grip change..They are also the ones to seek for advice on clubs and shaft selections if you're having a hard time deciding which one fits your game.. Wayne also provides excellent customer service when you need help on other merchandise other than repair..Great selections for your golf needs!! read more

Jan 22, 2019 I wanted to put new hand grip on a couple of my clubs so I initially decided to call Pro Am Golf Shop because it was the most convenient location for me to get to as I was in the Makiki/Kapiolani area and easy to access from any side of Kapiolani Blvd. The parking was storefront and FREE!!! I called and asked if they carried oversized or thicker golf club grips to which he replied they do. I asked the price of the grip and if they would install them if I wait. He gave me a price and said it would take only about 10 minutes each and he could do it if it wasn't busy when I come in. So I arrived at 6pm (they close at 7pm) and there were two senior male staff available. I explained what I thought I need and he showed me what was available and presented me exactly what I wanted. So in less then 10 minutes my club was refitted with a brand new grip. I made some small talk about putters and asked him for some info on putter length and grips. I went to my car and brought in my putter and showed him how I grip the putter and the modifications I desired. He Brought out an adjustable length putter and fitted me to the desired length. Then with the right info on length, I asked if he could shorten and install a new grip on that club also which he gladly obliged. Again in less than 10 minutes my putter was resized and re-gripped. To summarize my visit, I must say from the phone inquiry, to choosing and fitting, and making the necessary modifications he was very accommodating and professional in handling my needs. I just went to Pro-Am Golf shop today, and walked away a very happy customer. I went in and talked to the guy working, who I think may have been the shop owner as well. Anywho, he was very friendly and explained the difference between several sets of clubs and how it would or would not affect my game. I'm a beginner and I was pleased to see that he didn't try to push me to a $1k+ set of clubs. He also helped me pick out a great pair of golf shoes and some good golfballs. The golf balls were some of the cheapest they had and were on sale, but when I went home and looked up everything he sold me it all had excellent reviews on various golf websites. All in all it was a great experience and I will definitely be going back when I need more golf supplies. read more

Great place to have clubs serviced -- re-griped, swapping shafts. Pro-Am stands behind their work, and will fix it if they get it wrong. Price is great - only $2.50 to change a grip and $15 to swap a shaft (material not included). AND - they are FAST - they strive for same day/next day service (depending on time of drop off) - and I haven't been disappointed yet. Went and looked at bags, clubs, shoes and just about everything, I'm looking to buy the new Taylormade M2 combo graphite. I walked around for 25 minutes, 4 guys there, no customers, nobody acknowledged me, no hi, no can I help you, nothing! This old guy came right next to me while I looked at the M2 irons, nothing said. Very Bad Customer Service - Very unsatisfied.....They will not redeem a gift certificate that expired. $50 is $50 which should have been accepted by them. They still have my friend's $50 in their pocket. Really bad service - do not buy from this company....their return policy and gift certificate policy is very unfriendly and Non- Aloha.
