As I was shopping at Land & Sea Golf today I was greeted by Garret. He allowed me to browse through the store first then approached me to see if I had any questions regarding the store merchandise. I asked about sale items and he walked to the 50% off clothing sale rack and 50% off Olokai shoe and sandal sale rack. I didn't see anything I liked and he suggested I take a look at the fukubukuro shopping bags that was on sale for $49, regular $125. We walked over there and I told him I already purchased one during the holidays and didn't want to take the chance of purchasing a bag with the same three shirts I already have. I asked if I could open one bag and if the shirts inside were different I would purchase it. Garett said he would call the store manager, to see if that was possible. She was very hesitant and later told Garret she won't approve it. He was willing to call Mike, owner of the store and I told him that's not necessary. I asked Garett if he was on commission and he said yes. I've been a retail manager for many years and this is the type of salespeople I always looked for: Garret wasn't just a salesclerk but one that worked hard at making a sale without being pushy, like a car salesman. If I was still a store manager I would steal Garret away in a heartbeat. He knows sitting around doing nothing won't make you money. If you want to make more than just minimum wage you need to get out there on the sales floor and do what it takes to increase your commission. read more

It's a great little shop featuring mostly Golf products also, you can find a few Pickel Ball accessories here. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They have a really good supply of Olukai footwear tailored for Golf. You can also find Raen optics sunglasses too. read more

All things good with a side of pickleball... Nice to see the former Eden in Love space occupied by what seems to be a golfer lover paradise to be dressed for the part on the greens. They filled up and used the space brilliantly my favorite is what they did with the windows and made it an accent piece, if I was into golf I'd probably want to buy up the store as the items they have here are wonderful quality items. OluKai are great high end footwear which is always nice to see locally made items as well. The sole gentleman that was there is a delight and what a cool spot here in South Shore Market. Beautiful new shop that just opened this past Monday, Nov 1! A wide variety of clothing and golf equipment (i.e. towels, shoes, gloves) is available at the store. While the items are pricey, you can tell the quality is there. The employee working on the Saturday I went in was extremely helpful. He greeted me and always checked in with all customers to ensure everyone was ok. What really stood out to me was that the store has a hitting bay that uses Foresight golf simulator to track your hits. They offer PXG fittings with an authorized rep so you can even buy golf clubs here! You can ask the employee to set up an appointment to meet the rep or get his business "card" (which is actually a PXG ball marker). If you have any golf friends & family, definitely check this place out while you're at Ala Moana. read more

I use to go to the shop at ward ( may still be there ) so my wife and i were out shopping in Ala Moana mall and saw the shop the BOGO add and was like cool i like the link gear I'm gonna get a few items. Walked in to no one helping us and a guy just standing with his arms folded like we were an inconvenience to him . And he was to busy hitting balls on the simulator.But he jumped into action when a white couple , I'm black by the way and my wife is a local girl, came in. I was looking to spending some money in the store since i like golfing in the the Brand. My wife felt offended and left since the sales person was jumping through hoops for this couple, who ended up buying a ball marker. I still wanted some stuff but i left cause my wife was upset. But the local brother came out and helped me but the damage was done. You all lost a customer at the shop. Still love the brand. And just because in was in a softball jersey doesn't mean i can't afford the clothing in the shop. Missed a good sell. That's the vibe i got !! Mahaloz !! read more

I just went to land and sea golf and they had such cool things I had never seen or heard of before. I got myself a melin hat that I didn't know floated in the water! They have awesome golf apparel and I thought the pineapple logo was sweet! All their apparel is super comfortable and stylish. I highly recommend checking it out. read more
