He followed each wipe of his microfiber towel with the air compressor, both inside and out, leaving no chance for water spots or dust. After tipping the gentleman, I was on my way. The car came out looking really good, and it's clear they take pride in the actual detailing. That said, I had a frustrating experience with pricing that I think needs to be called out. When the technician arrived, we walked the car together and I was given an agreed upon price. After the wash was completed, I was then told the car wasn't properly evaluated and the price would be higher because it "took longer than expected" - not due to anything unforeseen. I don't think that's acceptable. Pricing should be clear and agreed upon before any work begins -- not adjusted once the job is already complete. In this situation, it was never communicated that the price may be adjusted. It puts the customer in a difficult position and takes away from an otherwise positive experience. Again, the end result was great, which is why I'm not rating lower. But the pricing process needs to be more upfront and transparent. I'd recommend double confirming a firm price before they start to avoid any surprises.

Albert from Pro Auto Spa absolutely saved the day. I called him the day before we were supposed to leave the hospital with our newborn baby. We were at USC Arcadia, and I needed a mobile detail done last minute because we have two big dogs and the car had dog hair everywhere. I wanted the car completely cleaned before bringing our baby home. Albert responded right away, confirmed quickly, and even helped figure out a safer nearby location instead of just doing it in the hospital parking lot. He met me at 8:00 in the morning exactly on time, looked at the car, and told me he would take care of it. And he did. The car was spotless when I came back. He got under the seats, into every crevice, cleaned out all the dog hair, detailed the entire interior, and even washed the outside. It honestly looked like a brand new car. He took extra time, charged a very reasonable price for the amount of work, and finished right before we were discharged from the hospital. That kind of service is rare. Albert was professional, reliable, fair, and he genuinely helped us during a big life moment. I gave him a hefty tip because he earned every bit of it. This was my second time using Pro Auto Spa, and once again Albert and his team absolutely exceeded expectations. I brought in my RX 350 for a much-needed paint correction to remove the tunnel wash scratches that had built up over the last year, and the results were incredible. When I picked up the vehicle, it honestly looked like it had just rolled off the showroom floor. There was a lot of discoloration from my repeated sunblock use and they were able to remove it all. I requested the CPR detail package, which was $180, and it was so worth it! The interior and exterior were well taken care of and I was given a 40 minute heads-up call for when the car would be done. This gave me plenty of time to head over since I live out of town. By default, that's 5-stars "above and beyond" service. I want to recommend his business to people for life! My Honda C-RV needed prep for resale. StreamDrive really went in and did some disinfecting, were able to remove lingering odors, got the leather restored, restored the headlights, and even performed a trim restore so this 2013 car looks really fresh! I wasn't expecting to write a review for this auto detailing service, so I don't have any "before" photos. I'm sorry about that, it's not an ideal situation for a glowing restoration review. I'm not so comfortable sharing pictures of my personal vehicle in the first place, you know what I mean? My pics just look like a super clean car. You can't tell it was ever damaged! $400 all-in inside-and-out restoration, under the hood, even buffing out some minor scuffs and scrapes it looks like, as well as painting/restoring the sun-faded plastic panels all around the vehicle: that's a value. He did not inform me that this happened but instead just told me my car was ready and waited for me to notice. My paint is aging on my 2007 FJ cruiser but otherwise in good condition. I was starting to get some moderate bubbling in my clear coat on the hood, but nothing substantial. Edwin voiced no concerns about possible further damage to my paint, or I would have declined his services. I also was still asked to pay for the detailing service after he caused damage to my vehicle. Edwin did not offer to make it right, instead insisting that it was not his fault. He also refused to provide proof of insurance or a billing address for his business. I highly suggest that if you care about your car, you do not give Edwin your business. In response to Edwin's comment: If you had ANY concerns about my paint and the condition you perceived it to be in, you did not share those with my until after the damage was done. Nor did you get me when it happened. You just told me my car was ready and waited to see if I'd notice. Had you told me this was a possibility, I would have told you not to proceed. I also shared the year of my car with you in the Yelp quoting process, and you voiced no concerns then either. I did not decline going to an auto body shop for their opinion, I declined going to your uncle's auto body shop. Your family's business will not be impartial in the matter. I will be going to an auto body shop, and I am happy to share their opinion and the estimated repairs with you. This is why I asked you for your insurance information that you refused to provide. Your business insurance can determine if this is your fault or not and pay for the repairs, should they determine you caused this to happen. Lastly, yes. I did dispute the charge. Because you told me I had to pay you, even though I told you I did not think I should pay after you damaged my car. So of course I reported that services rendered were not as expected. If PayPal has held the money, that is not on me. I don't have it back either.
