They were very helpful. I asked a question online about clematis wilt and I appreciated their quick response.

Custom Touch Irrigation - New Non-Return apparatus

I am a new customer for CT Irrigation. I had some issues with my last service provider (late…read morestartups and shutdowns). After setting up new service for the year (2026), I had a choice of early startup or later startup. An appointment was setup so that I could work with the service technician to explain my system and needs. The service technician called before arriving to say he was 15 minutes out - he arrived 15 minutes later. He quickly did a check of the Non-Return apparatus and found that both brass valve bodies were cracked (this was a result of late shutdown last year by previous service). He had the parts needed on his truck and he quickly repaired that and did an excellent job of installation. We then went through my system zone-by-zone and head-by-head. He found one head that was damaged and he quickly replaced it. He also found a leak in the yard and he was able to cut the sod and immediately zero in on the pin-hole leak in the underground supply pipe. He did an excellent job of fixing that. He also proposed a way to solve a problem I have where I need a sprinkler head to cover a small area in the back of my yard. I am very impressed with the communications with the CT office personnel as well as the service technician (Danny). Danny is very knowledgeable and professional, as well as a good communicator. I would highly recommend this firm for any irrigation project.

Today the service was exceptional. The young technician, Jon Brooks, texted he was on his way. When I answered the door he informed me my mailbox was lying in the street. He then went out, picked it up, brought it into the garage, found proper screws for it then put it back up for me. His thoughtfulness is much appreciated. After that, he completed all the tasks to get ready for Spring. Everyone at Custom Touch has always been courteous and helpful when addressing any of my questions or needs. Big pat on the back to everyone there.

I really like Chris. He's a really nice guy honestly. We hired him over a year ago to do our…read moresprinklers. Sprinkler installation and landscape lighting was great. However, this past spring, it took over 4 weeks of trying to get him/his worker over to get them back on. Fall was a struggle too, but not nearly as much a struggle as it was this time. I was calling all the time, texting, my husband stayed home from work and his guy didn't show up after he promised me on several occasions he would show up and get it done for us. Don't get me wrong I get being busy and having jobs - we were just disappointed that he was quick to take our money when we paid for our sprinklers and get us signed up for a 1 year service plan and then didn't show up for what seemed like forever to get them on. Not sure if we will proceed with a service plan in future after the run around we got recently.

Chris was remarkably responsive to come out and look at my property within a few days of me contacting him. He discussed that installing some corrugated drain pipes and two French drains would correct the identified drainage issue. Chris provided a quote and was hired. He began work a few weeks later. My property was such that all work hand to be manually "hand trenched" using shovels. After the first day of the two day project, there were heavy rains that night. Chris's work fixed the primary problem that I had hired him for, but with the heavy rains, an additional drainage problem was discovered. Chris quickly responded by ordering additional materials and expanded his scope of work to include this new area. So, on his second and final day of work, Chris completed the initial project and also completed the additional work. Chris Peters represents the very definition of "professional". He is responsive and takes personal pride in his work and satisfying the customer. I am eagerly awaiting for the next downpours so that I can admire my new drainage system. Chris offers a full warranty of his work, so, I have no worries. Please know, that if you require any drainage or irrigation work, you will never find anyone as honest and professional as The Peters Group.

We had GO Irrigation install our system last summer…read more Things were a bit rocky from the start. After confirming a time for him to come by for an estimate after work, he didn't show and we had to reschedule. Despite this, we selected him out of several companies in the area as the system he proposed was a Rain Bird system that was fairly priced compared to the other companies I had contacted. He also touted their system as self draining, which meant I could shut the system down each fall without having to pay someone else to do it every year. After selecting GO Irrigation, scheduling and communication started to be hit or miss. We scheduled install date about a month out from when we accepted their bid, and I made arrangements to work from home so I could be there when they needed access to the garage to install the controller. The scheduled date came, and they never showed. After waiting at home for him and his crew to show up, I finally got in contact with Gil about half way through the day, he apologized and said they were running behind on their previous jobs due to the heat. He said he would knock off some of the price (about 10%) and committed to the install the following week. The following week came, and there was yet another delay, again attributed to his crew having to deal with the heat of the summer. When they finally did get to our installation, he showed up at our home the afternoon before the scheduled install to run the lines through the yard. The machine he used ended up leaving oil spots and gouges on our driveway and sidewalk. They did not put any kind of grass seed over the areas where the lines were pulled, and here we are a year later and they are still bald areas all over our yard from them. The crew showed up the following day (mostly college aged kids, no Gil in sight) and went to work on the install. After the install was complete, his crew walked me through the operation of the system, which is a great system and fully automated. They said they would be back in the fall to show me how to shut down the system for the winter. I later noticed the valve box they installed in the back yard was in the ground crooked, and they assured me as it settled it would straighten out. Unfortunately, we still have a crooked box in the ground in our back yard. Winter shut down went relatively smoothly, with some scheduling and communication issues that I had become accustomed to with Gil at this point. This May, around the time the backflow test was needed and after several rounds of rain I happened to notice the ground around the valve box in the back yard was very wet. I pulled the cover and found the box completely filled with water. I reached out to Gil to see if this was normal, he assured me it was covered under our warranty and he sent one of his guys to check it out. Apparently, while he was checking it out one of the pieces broke, so a replacement had to be ordered. Same song, different verse. After several delays they were finally able to get the repair completed about a week later. However, the valve box was still full of water a month later and I reached out to Gil to make sure there wasn't a leak or anything else wrong with the system. He sent his guys out a second time, and after draining the box they said it was just ground water and charged me a $100 service call fee. All in all, the system itself is great. The communication and service from the team at GO Irrigation leaves a lot to be desired.

We…read morewere trying to get quotes before Christmas so we could reserve an installation date next year. Some companies were already booking out to summer! I sent a web request for a quote and I received a call back about thirty minutes later! We talked about dates in the coming week and I wasn't going to be around much. Gil said he was right down the street finishing up one job and said he could come by for a quote now if that was alright. He stopped by, explained his system (he installs self-draining, which as a DIY oriented person, I liked so I don't have to rely on a company to shut it down each year), and provided a quote on the spot. Then, he said that due to the unseasonably warm weather he was still doing installs. I booked with him the following week. Gil showed up the next week as scheduled with his team. Most of which have been there for a couple years and are college aged men and their brothers or friends have worked for Gil. Gil was on-site and oversaw the entire install, teaching the trade and supervising. He walked me through the install and how the system works and then showed me how to shut it down. I'm the spring, he'll come out, show me how to start the system up, and fine tune any adjustments. Very impressed with his responsiveness and professionalism. Highly recommend!
