SO pleased and impressed with this company! Juan really is the best. We heard a rat moving around and chewing in our attic. A couple other companies came and used major scare tactics and fully overpriced their services. One of them didn't even do a perimeter check. The other was a smooth talker and made everything sound completely overblown. When Juan called and heard how much these other guys were charging, he told me to be careful. He and his crew came, did a thorough inspection around the house and in the attic, and explained the mild rat problem very calmly and reasonably. No scare tactics, way more reasonable / appropriate pricing, honest and clear with explanations and photos. They sealed all the entrances and set out traps. Within less than a week, I could smell that something had died, and even though we weren't at the pre-scheduled one-week mark to have the traps assessed, Juan went out of his way to come check the traps and found TWO rats that he had caught! The crawlspace was clear and we can finally be at ease that 1) the house is secured; and 2) we are rat-free without some rotting vermin attracting flies. Truly can not recommend this company enough. Juan from Pro Excel Pest had recently controlled a rat situation in my attic, and I'm so grateful for how calm and professional he was during the entire process. When I was trying to get quotes for service and was dealing with poor and long drawn-out communication with other pest control companies, he stood out in the best possible way, promptly returning my call to schedule an inspection and consultation. Juan was also the least alarmist in his assessment of my problem. After the inspection he told me where he thought the rodents were coming in from and then offered a conservative plan of treatment: installing wire screens over those entry points, placing traps in the attic and crawl space, and monitoring the areas for a month to see if the rats returned. Compare this to a consultation and quote from another company, where they seemed to describe my attic as one big hazmat situation filled with rat droppings. On top of the exclusion service, they were pressuring me to do a costly deep cleaning of the attic with an install of new insulation, saying that they were available the next day to do all the work and that the rats would multiply exponentially if I didn't act soon. I didn't feel comfortable with being scared into the hard sell, so I didn't go with that company. (Later on I asked Juan if I needed my attic cleaned, and he said that the number of droppings was pretty minimal, so no.) It's been a month since the barrier screens were installed, which seemed to have solved the problem right away -- during each weekly follow-up visit from Pro Excel Pest to check the traps, they came up empty. And thankfully I'm not hearing any more squeaking or chewing noises in any part of my house. After years of trying ant baits and home made remedies we knew we needed a professional. Juan and Pro Excel deserves 10 stars! He solved our HUGE ant invasion in October/November 2025 over 3 visits. In the 1st visit, he and team sprayed the perimeter of the house, front and back yards, driveway, and patios. He showed us where the ants had their nests and educated us about ants moving to a new location. The ants decided to move inside the exterior wall next to our kitchen and soon there were ant highways in our kitchen. We texted/talked with Juan and on the 2nd visit, Juan sprayed the interior parts of the kitchen. We continued to have ants in the kitchen and dining room and Juan made an exception to see us on a Saturday morning. On the 3rd visit, he recommended spraying the entire 1st floor of the house. It took 2 weeks for the interior treatment to work resulting in NO ANTS inside or outside! I first called Pro Excel following a roach sighting. My wife is terrified of these things and I wouldn't have any peace until something was done about it. Juan, the owner has been super friendly to work with. He is very patient in explaining his process and going through the treatments. He's also willing to reassure my wife with what to expect and confirms that some of the critters she sees are not roaches. After all, she'll never take my word for it. The treatments are non-toxic for plants and pets, so that is reassuring. Here is another 5 star review which is deserved. Called yesterday , spoke to the main man and he came out today for wasp nest removal. Great communication with texts, and called/texted me 30 minutes before arrival like they were supposed to . Upfront price was decent compared to others and what I read online. Found 3 more wasp nests when they checked the full house perimeter, so that did add to my bill so it wound up costing a fair amount. Mine were all up under the wood eves of the one story house so easy to get at. Asked about other services like ants and they use a non toxic peppermint oil treatment. Which is good but the pesticide stuff does last longer if you dont mind that. But I like the honest , fast service and attitude and would def use them again. Plus they were local and close to me and I like using local smaller companies not the big ones. read more

This is how I found Juan. First off, he is super nice and knowledgeable and didn't mind answering all my questions. He also explained what the other pest control service did wrong and gave me a lot of advice AND always answers my follow-up texts very quickly, which I really appreciate. He came over twice: 1st time to fog it, 2nd time to put baits and poison.
