I loved checking out this new brewery that just opened in Upland. I love that you can just order your beer right at your table via your phone. After ordering, they just bring it to your table. When you are about to leave, you just close out your tab right on your phone. The only thing is that they only had 4 beers to choose from. One of the employees informed me that they ran out of the other two beers because of events that occurred recently. My IPA was pretty good, although it would have been nice to have done a flight of beer. There was also some live entertainment outside, but I chose to stay inside. It was convenient to plug my laptop into one of the outlets on the wall. Will definitely return again, but hopefully the next time I return, there will be more beers to choose from. read more

I frequently pass by this brewery and often tell myself I should visit. Eventually, I decided to go. Parking can be challenging because it's all street parking, which might be difficult if the area is busy. The brewery was larger than I anticipated, and it has a nice backyard patio that would be enjoyable on a warm day. They were doing construction inside, so we couldn't sit there, but the space looked roomy with plenty of seating. I definitely want to return to sample more of their beers. read more

Normally this is my go to spot, but I've had the same thing happen to me twice with different people. The first time I had an old college friend visiting from the UK so I wanted to show him my favorite spot, but Upland was having an event, and we didn't get past the door because they would not accept his ID and would not let him in unless he had a passport. Mind you my friend was 28 and we told the guy at the door that if that was the case that he wouldn't grab a beer since we could go to another brewery after, but wanted to check out the band for a bit while the rest of the group had a drink and we were still denied entry. Even though there was plenty of children inside!! It amazes me how kids are allowed to go in but not adults. The second time this happened I had some family visiting from Canada and I had completely forgotten about the first experience until we got to the door and they asked her for her passport and was denied entry again. People don't carry their passports around everywhere they go, it's dangerous and not worth the risk of loosing it. I think this business needs to work on finding a way to authenticate other countries ID's as well as at least letting paying customer inside if they let minors and dogs in all the time. **UPDATE: I appreciate your response Nick, but this is in fact the correct business (105 E A St Upland, CA 91786). As I mentioned, this was my go to spot. And you are correct, you don't have anyone at the door checking ID's normally. I am not sure if you're aware, but your staff does have somebody standing outside checking IDs when Downtown Upland is having an event, for example the Lemon Festival. My group was denied entry because your staff rejected a member from our groups government ID because it wasn't from the US and they weren't causally carrying their passport with them. What a great new addition to the IE. Such a great location in Downtown Upland and a nice change from the usual warehouse brewery locations we get used to. They is some minimal indoor seating but they have a great patio with lots of seating and shade. There are a couple of televisions out there, they have music playing, and the beer selection keeps getting better and better! Service has been great, very clean (including the bathrooms), and of course dog friendly! The draft list offered brews with names as curious as they were bold: "Hanma Japanese Lager," "BloodBro Wheat," and "OneEightyThree West Coast Pilsner." These monikers, while intriguing, were no match for the straightforwardness of my era's offerings, which were often labeled simply as "Ale" or "More Ale." I ordered the "Supplemental IPA," expecting perhaps a liquid elixir that would invigorate both body and spirit. It arrived in a glass so pristine it could have doubled as a scientific instrument. The beer itself was a marvel--a burst of citrus, berry, and floral notes that cascaded across my tongue like a well-rehearsed symphony. It was as if the hops had been choreographed by a master brewer with an eye for perfection. Yet, I confess, I felt a pang of longing for the tavern wenches of old. No busty lasses with hearty laughs and stronger arms than half the gentry. Nevertheless, the outdoor patio offered a lively atmosphere where both people and their loyal hounds mingled freely--a charming touch reminiscent of a village green. Despite the absence of traditional tavern spectacles, I found myself thoroughly entertained by the quality of the brews and the convivial setting. Pro-Five Brewing Company has managed to craft an experience that honors the ancient art of brewing while embracing the conveniences of modernity. Four out of five stars--for the extraordinary ales, the inviting ambiance, and the proof that one can have a time worthy of being had, even without the distraction of a large-busted bar wench bustling about. Came to Pro-Five with my girlfriends and daughters (7 year olds) and we all had fun. The girls played with chalk and Giant Jenga and the moms watched football and drank beer, it was wonderful . It was hard to see the tv's outside unless you were right up close but the sound was great all around. We didn't care that much about the game anyway. Big tv's inside. A friend who lives in Upland, invited me to join him to this establishment, for some drinks and to watch some sports. Had never been here before. Loved the place. Beer were tasty and the outside seating was awesome. So many TV's outside, so it's hard to miss any of the big games you might be interested in, as it will probably be showing on at least one of the screens. Seemed really clean and the ambiance was inviting. Food truck and live bands on most weekend nights. Love coming here. Of course it's close to home and I love the little town atmosphere that's its surrounded by. But they have good beers as well. Paper nice and friendly and accommodating. And they have a nice area to be able to enjoy the outdoors as well as the inside with plenty TVs to watch the game. We go to Pro Five for the trivia and music bingo. We like that it is less busy and quieter than Stackz Co. I wish they had food besides outside vendors as it can be a bit hit or miss. This place is awesome!! Went here with my family last week for the first time and my son loved running around the outdoor area. They have lots of tables with umbrellas and misters for the hot days. My son also loved playing with the chalk wall. The beer tenders were nice and attentive. Also I absolutely love that they have a changing table in their restrooms! I absolutely loved the building. It's a beautiful space for this brewery. It was very busy when I came here. There was a St. Patrick's day event going on in the area. I ordered two small beers and they served me full size pours. They have a nice outdoor area and that's where I was able to find a space to enjoy my beer. My beers were okay. If you want a good backyard hang out feel, then this is the place you want to be. This brewery is appropriate for all ages and dog friendly! We came for just a drink but there was a great surprise to have a local food vendor back in the corner. If you don't want to order the food they have you're able to bring in your own food. Most breweries are order up at the bar which definitely puts a damper in the conversations with the people you are with. Not this place they have QR codes where you can place an order and they bring it out to your table. Now let's talk beer! My friends enjoy IPAs and I enjoy the lighter beers.
