From the outset, we encountered ongoing issues: technicians were dispatched multiple times to fix problems, but the issue remained unresolved. I was billed for an invoice and for a monitoring service that did not function. My calls to obtain results went unanswered. As a result, I stopped paying for a service that was not working. The account was subsequently turned over to collections, despite my continued attempts to contact both the company and the collection agency. I am now facing a lawsuit for over $6,000. This dispute could have been avoided if the installation and service had been performed correctly from the start.

Their service has been fantastic. A recent incident to illustrate this. While we were vacationing in England, a smoke detector developed a fault and created a false alarm. Durrell's monitoring system had the fire brigade there in minutes, a neighbor was able to let them in and they established that there was no fire. We talked from the UK to Durrell's engineers and one of them was able to divert to the house and replace the faulty detector with a new one. Less than two hours after the original false alarm, our house was secure again with a fully functioning system and we were able to get back to enjoying our vacation. Butler Durrell offers personal service and real concern for their client's peace of mind. They never penny pinch. If something needs replacing they just go ahead and do it. Highly recommended.

I was up front about wanting the new lock to be keyed like all my other doors. I also told them the rest of the locks in my house were Weslock. Nothing I told him mattered. He came the next day with a Schlage lock that could not be keyed like my current house key. He never said he couldn't bring a Westlock and I was irritated because I told him what my needs were. So I asked him if he get the door unlocked he said yes and did so in about 10 minutes.
