Dr. Gee does not usually take younger aged patients, that being said, my mother asked Dr. Gee if he would make an exception to see me- he agreed. My mother and I called in to make an appointment, and the receptionist said they had a few cancellations and could see me the next day. We secured the appointment. I walked into the office for my appointment today. There was no receptionist at the desk, but there was signage. "New and follow-up patients, please fill out the forms on the clipboard and return them upside down, then please wait in the waiting room." I grabbed a form, filled it out and waited in the waiting room. About 5 minutes goes by, Dr. Gee walked into the waiting room and asked for a form of ID, my insurance card, and a credit card. I handed him my documentation (my form of ID was a passport). He said he was going to give it to his receptionist and he would come back for me in a few minutes. About 10 minutes goes by, he returns and the first thing he asked me was, "why do you not have your ID?" I replied, "is my passport not a form of ID? I do not have my drivers license because it was left with my purse at a friend's house" and he replied, "well, it is a form of ID but we take a scan of the ID and insurance card, and we are having trouble scanning the passport. You seem to be extremely unprepared. We asked that you fill out the form and it clearly states we need an ID, insurance card, and CC." Dr. Gee proceeded to go on and on about how he made an exception for me and I was "not prepared", when I was. I ended up cutting him off and said, "I do not feel comfortable being seen by you", grabbed my documentation from him, and left. Passports are a form of ID and I filled out the form needed in person. Not only did Dr. Gee make me feel like an inconvenience, he also was not professional, and treated me with no care whatsoever. If I could give no stars, I would.

Halo laser had a week or so down time which while seeking medical care was not possible at the time. Time to time I inquired about my package from staff and was never once told about the expiration policy. When I went to schedule my first appointment, I was told my package had expired six months after purchase -- and they given me an extension period, again which I was never informed about. Not once during my visits was I ever informed that there was an expiration, nor was this policy clearly explained when I purchased the package. These treatments are not cheap, and I would have never spent that kind of money had I known the sessions would expire. It's extremely disappointing that they won't honor what was clearly a communication mistake on their end. I have given multiple details and documents and a doctor letter stating I was advised by my physician to hold off on lasers but the company isn't taking responsibility -- very unprofessional and not what I expected from a business in this industry. **Disagreeing with my review does not change the fact that payment was taken and services were not delivered WITH NO CLEAR COMMUNICATION ABOUT EXPIRATION. Actually, life was wonderful when we met, but it quickly went down hill. I went to Dr. Song for dizziness and vertigo last summer. After waiting almost 3 weeks to see her, I was a little thrown off when she spent 5 minutes with me by using a flashlight to look at my eyes. She asked me a couple of questions then told me the reason for my dizziness and vertigo was from my sodium intake. What? I was immediately pissed off and upset, and I let Dr. Song know. She didn't ask me anything about what I eat. If she had, she'd know that I rarely eat processed foods, and I actually look at labels of food almost obsessively. She kept saying, "I can't imagine what you're going through". She referred me to get an MRI, "just in case", but told me to lower my sodium. 10 minutes later, I was on my way out of an appointment I had waited 3 weeks for. I wanted an answer to why I was dizzy and had vertigo. I am otherwise healthy, so assumed my symptoms were due to an inner ear issue. I went to the MRI, but didn't expect what was about to come. They told me I would hear from Dr. Song in a week, unless they had found something. Dr. Song called me the next morning. She said, "yah, um, you have a brain tumor". WTF? And again, "I can't imagine what you're going through" with the same sincerity as before. None. I'll never forget that conversation as long as I live. Nobody wants that call, and I won't bore you with the details other than to say that I am recovering from the serious and painful ordeal of brain surgery, but Dr. Song's bedside manner was absolutely awful at the worst time in my life. I would dissuade anyone from seeing her. I had actually written a letter to the medical director of the clinic conveying my experience, but threw it away when I found out about my brain tumor. I had other things to worry about.

I have had a horrible infection that would not go away. Neither my primary care nor urgent care doctors could treat it, so it was vital I get in to a dermatologist. Apparently, there is a major shortage of dermatologists in the area, because I could not get an appointment with anyone in a 50 mile radius, despite calling at least 20 clinics and doctors. I was near tears when I called the Peninsula Skin clinic with Dr. Rasmussen, and found out that they, like everyone else, have a long waiting list. Melissa at the front desk must have heard the desperation in my voice, because she worked with me to find a solution and a time to come in. After my calling all those clinics, she was the first person who showed some concern and empathy. This caring attitude was present with all the staff during my appointment. The person who actually treated me was a Physician's assistant, Bill Bies. He understood that I needed prompt treatment to address all possible issues, along with taking samples and setting up a follow up appointment. After struggling with this infection for so long, it was a relief to find competent and professional care combined with empathy.

It started when the medial assistant called to tell me my results of my mole biopsy her words were "are you okay to talk right now, your results came back abnormal" I said okay, which she then said she needed to place me on hold. Didn't come back for 5-7 minutes so I got to sit there worried. When she returned she still didn't spit out the results so the dr finally got on to tell me it was atypical and recommended to have a surgery to remove full mole. She said I wouldn't be able to exercise/swim for 2 weeks. Nothing else. I go in for my scheduled surgery which she proceeds to tell me I couldn't pick up my kids for 2 weeks (6 months and 2. )And "couldn't someone else help me out" she was upset I rescheduled my appointment after hearing that. Fast forward to my actual surgery, she was rude- condescending- no compassion- didn't answer questions instead telling me "does that matter now?" And that bed side manor does not actually matter as long as shes a *good* surgeon. Asked me if I was seeing a male provider if I would be worried about his bed side manor (not sure why she brought gender into this) my response was I just wanted someone caring & she told me she is not my mother. Yes she actually said ALL of this. She talked over me and my mom with everything we tried to ask. I felt very rushed, uncared about, the feeling she never can take ownership of what she does wrong- always blaming everyone else. There is NO on call doctor for after surgeries so if something is wrong- you just go to the ER and they "hopefully" will get you in that week. This doctor/ practice is a joke. - my biggest regret is going to her for a service. Save yourself the mess and go to anyone else. Literally.
