I am recovering from cystic acne which caused scarring and textured skin. What the HALO treatment did was remove a layer and heal skin from the inside out. It took 7 days for my skin to fully recover, but well worth it. We did go a bit aggressive than usual to treat the deeper layers of the scars. My skin is MUCH more smooth now, pore size less, and scarring is more than half gone. I do plan to come back and do another one. I use ZO Skin products and ELTA MD, which I highly recommend. This office goes out of their way to find each possible source for diagnosis, intervention, and if needed medication. Do not go here!…read more We booked my daughter an appt to see a dermatologist for her severe acne and skin issues, when we booked the appt, we put down her primary insurance which is regence blue shield through Boeing. We even exchanged text messages with a gal named Mary CONFIRMING they can see her with her insurance. Never once did we mention she had state insurance as her SECONDARY insurance. They called the day of her appt and left a message saying they were cancelling her appt because they didn't take state insurance. I called right away and the first thing I askedbthe receptionist was, "do you take regence blue shield through Boeing?" The gall on the phone said "yes we do." I said "ok, well my daughter who has regence blue shield had an appt today that you cancelled this morning and you reason was 'you don't take her insurance'." She looked up her appt and proceeded to tell me it was cancelled because they don't take state insurance. Um ok, that's fine, because that is her SECONDARY insurance, that insurance was never mentioned when booking the appt. So how did her secondary insurance even factor in? And you aren't even billing that insurance, you are billing her PRIMARY insurance! The gal was incompetent in understanding the difference between primary and secondary insurance and just kept saying over and over, we can't see her because we don't take state insurance. They went out of their way to look it up and cancelled her appt for having a secondary insurance they don't take! Her primary insurance is regence blue shield and that's the insurance that was given to them. Clearly this place is NOT a good place to go! They deliberately look for state insurance so they can turn them away.
