We arrived at 5:03pm and intake took about 10 minutes. In all past spa experiences the time starts once the masseuse begins. Not as soon as you walk in the door. Despite that I actually had a nice massage from the kind older lady. My mom's experience was much worse than mine. She said her masseuse was constantly on his phone and using 1 hand to massage her. I started with massages with Larysa, and scheduled to be treated by other masseuses as well. Everyone is kind, professional and Knowledgeable. Dr. Sundara is my acupuncturist. He has blown me away with his kindness, care, attentiveness and I always feel comfortable in his office. Every session works magic. I've had other acupuncturists before but I've never seen results the way I do when working with him. My head always feels lighter. His assist is the kindest soul in the world. I sleep longer and better. I am scheduled 3x a week now because I am seeing rapid results and massages help so much along with acupuncture. He studied in Paris under some of the greatest doctors in the world. He can pretty much cure anything. I never thought one acupuncture appointment can work such wonders. I came in with a huge breakout over my chin and told her that it was happening due to my retinol treatment. She advised me to stop the retinol (which is the opposite of the advice I had been given since my skin is likely purging from it but will stop once it runs its course). During the treatment I never felt her cleanse my skin (which she insisted that she did) or apply serums or creams, I felt barely anything go on and only light touches from her. She never told me what she was putting on my skin. To my horror, at the end she advised that I use neosporin on my acne and do honey masks. Both of which are not advised by anything you see online. I had to rush home to wash my skin in fear that the neosporin would start to do damage immediately. She offered to have my come back for free to do extractions but I will not return, to say the least. I am sure that this woman provides adequate facials to those with normal skin but I would never advise someone with serious acne seeing her.
