Ok this place is my only nail salon. You must ask for Lee as the nail tech. She is great and careful. Went here on a last minute need to get nails done for a recent trip to DC on Memorial Day weekend. Took me with no appt. I was nervous about getting gels, since this was my first time. Lee was gentle, quiet, and precise. I walked out happy and couldn't stop staring at my nails. To my surprise the gels lasted though my mom job with 4 kids. Still looking good on like day 15. The service was terrible. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I called at 6:30 asking if they had room in 15 minutes and they said yes. I arrived at 6:45, however, they were no where near ready for me. At 7:00 I was still not seen and another person came in and asked if they had time for them to do her nails. They said yes and 5 minutes later they took the person who just walked in instead of me. I waited another 10 minutes before I was seen, which was a half hour later than they said they would be ready for me. I asked for a dip manicure, however, they did not give me a manicure. All they did was file my nails. After the person was done with the first coat, she moved me to another table and made me wait another 5 minutes for someone else to finish me for some unknown reason. I was a loyal client her for years & even drove out of my way to go here when I changed jobs a couple of years ago. But while the staff is still friendly, and the place is very clean the quality dropped off over the last year or so. More than a few times I've had to jerk my hands back rather than end up with cut cuticles. The last straw was when I went in for a pre-event fill & gel mani and when I clearly stated DO NOT CUT THE NAILS DOWN. I look down to find stubby nails, I was so angry about the length I didn't even notice until this morning that I have "moons" at the cuticles. It looks more like a week old mani. It is very difficult to argue with them due to the language barrier, so I just left and will never return. read more

Went today with a friend. I got a pedicure, she got a manicure. Mid-week, and we walked in without an appointment. We were able to be taken right away! Loved my pedicure; super long and relaxing, french manicure on toes, great job done. Friend loved her french manicure! We were given frequent customer cards; after 5th visit u get $10 off 6th visit! Leena is amazing! She talked me into trying the gel nail polish and now I wouldn't get anything else! It lasts 10-14 days without chipping. I've had two of the other manicurists do my nails and they all do a great job but Leena's work definitely lasts longer without chipping. I wouldn't go anywhere else! Addition: I recently had Tina because Leena was unavailable. Tina was awesome! I am on day 15 of my manicure and I just chipped the color today on just one nail. The rest of my nails still look as good as new (aside from the whole growing without the color thing). Definitely would recommend Tina as well!! read more

My gel nail polish started peeling 4-5 days after i got it. The technician was very rough, painful experience, she was rough because she was in a hurry to get it over with. I will not visit this place again because there are places with better service. read more

I came here this past Monday for a gel manicure. The woman did not get my old polish off completely so I can still see spots of it. During the manicure she cut me twice with the cuticle scissors, one of them kept bleeding. A week later some of the polish is coming off because the gel got on my skin. $25 is a great price for a gel manicure but I will not be returning to this place. Manicures should be relaxing, not painful. read more

This place used to be great under the old ownership. The new one not so much. The quality of the service has degraded to an unacceptable level. I got a Dip Polish and a Pedicure. The technician spent less than 15 minutes on my pedicure and said she was done. The polish was a mess. The Dip Polish was even worse. She didn't let it dry enough and when the polish messed up when she tried to apply oil, she just buffed it and applied top coat. I told her three times that the polish was messy and there should be no bubbles. She said there is no bubbles and ignored me. I had to go to a different salon the next day to have both of the polishes taken off and reapplied. Not to mention during the post mess up buff, she buffed my skin away too and my nail bled and is extremely painful right now. I am part of a wedding party and did not expect to have messy nails after paying $70 for the services. As a customer of 5 years, this is the end. I will find a new a salon for my nails going forward. read more

I've been to this salon maybe ten times and there have been several times when the manicurists have gone so fast that the tools have gotten too close to my nail bed and burned me a bit. This time, the man sliced open my fingers at the cuticle on three different fingers. I was bleeding and they had the balls charge me full price for the service. I had the WORST experience here. I came in after a long day of work hoping for a relaxing manicure. I wanted a gel manicure and there was only one other customer in the place. But the guy who worked on me was in such a rush you would think there was a line out the door with people waiting to get their nails done. He was PULLING on my cuticles and kept cutting my FLESH. Five of my fingers started bleeding and one in particular was bleeding nonstop for a good 30 minutes. He covered my fingers with alcohol and it stung like crazy, then when my finger wouldn't stop bleeding he brought out some nail glue and was going to put that on without even asking me if it was okay. It was so embarrassing but I actually started crying then and there. One of the other girls took over and redid his awful job of cleaning up my cuticles and ended up doing my manicure. Meanwhile, he went over and sat down at one of the spa chairs and one of the women went over and started giving him a pedicure. I was disgusted and weirded out by this behavior. I have included a picture of my finger that is hot, throbbing and painful and I am worried it's infected. NEVER AGAIN. read more

This place should be shut down!!! My mother and I went here last week for shellac manicures ... 7 days later and my mother is now on antibiotics for a fungal infection in her nails! I will not be going back here! They did the wrong color for my pedi, they used the wrong type of polish for my mani (gel when I asked for regular, and got regular on my pedi), then tried to charge me to remove the gel mani I never wanted in the first place. Longer story below... First, I called ahead to make an appointment because I wanted my mani and pedi done at the same time (I was in a serious time crunch!). They said no problem, but when the girl started on my feet, I waited a bit to see if anyone was coming but I had to remind them. They quickly got someone else on it, so not a big deal. For my pedi, I picked out a light blue and a dark blue. I told the girl I wanted a french pedi with both colors, the tip darker than the bed. She said ok and seemed to get it. She started with the dark blue tip and I was a little surprised, thought the light blue would go on first. After the tip, I saw her doing a clear coat, and thought she must be doing that so the colors don't run before she does the light blue. When she said I was done, I asked "What about the second color, the other blue on your workstation that I brought over?" She had no idea what I was talking about. I still am not sure where the miscommunication happened when I brought both colors over. When they realized it's not what I wanted, they were like "oh, we'd have to take everything off and start all over" and they definitely seemed less-than-thrilled about that. I was in a hurry so I just had to accept the pedi was not at all what I had asked for. I crossed my fingers they would comp it at check-out time. For my mani, the girl asked if I wanted the same thing on my hands; I said sure so she grabbed another matching bottle of polish and got to work. I told her she should just do a clear top coat on my mani, rather than the two-toned of my pedi. I would have thought that would have flagged the pedi girl again that I still wanted light blue but whatever. Afterwards, when checking out it cost more than $60, and there was no offer to come back for a free one or get it comped since it wasn't what I asked for. I was a little surprised, but again, never get it done so didn't think too much. Cut to last night when I tried to take my mani off, and it wouldn't budge. Some quick googling revealed it was a gel polish, which they specifically asked when I walked in and I said regular. I had handed the pedi girl the regular polish, but when the mani girl found the matching color she must have looked in the gels. Googling the DIY process revealed I didn't have the right tools so I decided to go back and have them remove it since they had made the original mistake. Walked in this afternoon and the first girl I explained it to and said I would not be paying, said ok, no worries, and just laughed. A couple minutes later someone else came out and told me they don't make money off removals, only the re-application of gels so they would charge me. I explained they'd already charged me for a gel mani when I didn't want it so I basically had paid. She disagreed and said I had to pay. We went back and forth like that 2 more times before they finally agreed to do it "just this once." They made a mistake with what I wanted for my pedi, a mistake with the polish on my mani, and tried to charge me again for the gel removal when it was their fault. And not any kind of attempt to get me to come back or make it right. Appalling! read more

My first time in today. I got a pedicure. The wait was a little but longer, but I didn't mind that part as I sat in the chair with my feet in the whirlpool. They use the same nail polishes as any other salon. However, my disappointment came from the way the nail polish dried--with lots of bubbles in it. Nail polish bubbles normally happen with old thick nail polish. I don't have to time to drive back and get them re-done so I'm gonna pay for a toe polish change at another salon. Hopefully, someone reads this and it doesn't happen to another customer. read more

During a pedicure the woman cut my toe with the cuticle cutters twice. It happens on occasion, which I understand. I am allergic to the dye in the in the liquid they use to stop the bleeding. I told them not to use it and the woman tried to use it 4 times, even sneakily. I said I was leaving and they told another woman to finish. She painted my toe, bloody, and used nail polish they use on other people. I will never return. read more

This place is very convenient to where I work and is very inexpensive compared to other nail salons. But, you definitely get what you pay for. I have been here 10-12 times and have had decent experiences (mainly when dealing with Lena). She is professional and does a great job. However, everyone else is pretty awful and they take forever. The negatives have added up to be too much and I've decided not to come back. I had an entire pedicure where the girl was watching TV instead of paying attention to my toes and my nails looked awful when she was done. Another time, I got a shellac manicure and the man got up and walked away halfway through and came back with a similar pink color, but clearly not the same color. When I told him it wasn't the right color he got mad and told me I was wrong. I've had shellac done here 3 times and it never lasts. You have to tip in cash and when I've had to break a $20 for tip money, they always try to only give me 2 $10's back. I think $5 tip is more than generous when getting a $25 pedi and it rubs me the wrong way that they try to get more out of me. read more

Poor business practices. I had a rewards card from Pro Nails, and after 8 manicures, the ninth is free. I went to use the card after getting to the ninth "free" manicure, and before I even put my name on the sign-in sheet, I showed her the card/coupon and asked if I'd be able to use it. She said yes and to put my name on the list for a manicure. At the end, when I went to pay, I handed her my reward card and she told me it was only good for $5 off, despite the fact that the card itself said the ninth manicure was free after getting eight AND she told me the card was good and could be used before I ever sat down for a manicure. I honestly would not have gotten the manicure if she had been honest from the beginning, that they were no longer honoring the rewards cards, because my husband and I are trying to save money right now. I did like this place, but I won't be going back. Engaging in unfair and deceptive business practices is a quick and easy way to lose my business. read more

So I've been here before- so many times that I got a gift certificate for my bday. I went today and I was told that the wait was 10 minutes. Fifteen minutes later I was in a chair with my feet in luke warm water. I asked for warmer water and they filled it. Then I waited for another 10 minutes before a man came to do my nails. I have no judgement on men doing my feet, but I don't think he knew what he was doing. Yes, my nails were long and it's summer and I have some extra hunk under them- but holy crap! He hurt and afterwards, there is still dirt under because he only cut and rubbed the metal thing underneath. Then he took out a cheese grater (not the small graters that they usually use) and scraped away at my foot. He asked if it hurt and I said yes- but he kept going. I just wanted to stop, but I didn't want to cause a scene. When he started painting my nails, a woman came by to ask if I was ok- and what am I going to do- I just wanted to leave. He painted my nails- I still have paint on my skin and the tops of my big toes are rough because he never filed them correctly. Definitely not happy with a place I'm typically happy at. Oh and gave the gift certificate for $40 and instead of giving cash back, I have $12 there to spend. Joy. read more

It is 4:30 AM and i am WIde awake because I have been traumatized by this place I cant believe the city of woburn lets a sweat shop like this in there city. I have lived here my whole life and never have experienced such Horror. My feet still hurt. The first inpression was everyone standing around no one wants to sit on furniture our grandmothers had when they were kids then i sat on it down to the ground I went very unsanitary...The other four chair also cloth, very dirty, then you are a number 1,2 3 come sit in chair feet in water COLD! unsanitary I thought then the nail clippers the woman used on my were so old had to pull nails off because it wouldnt cut. OUCH! the Brush she used to scrub top of my toes ouch again, was worn out..... YUCK! All I could think about was getting the hell out and calling board of health. Bet your life I was watching everything where did they get the clippers and scissors from and where are they putting when done with me....I saw 3 different woman put the clippers in the sanitizer ONly ONE I saw but NOT turned it on... then I saw someone take a pair out of it YUCK! Manicure time YUCK,,,,,,,,,,cleaned nail clipper and scissors with npaper towel,,,,paper towel would you want to get your hands or feet done with clippers cleaned with paper towel. Oh and I forgot to mention. The towels are all dirty and they saved mine for the next person. read more
