I love this salon! Nail Gallery is clean and the ladies are very nice. Ivy is a sweetheart and does a great job with dip. It can get a little busy on the weekends and the price is pretty high but they do a really great job!! I love the color options and their creative input. This is my go to salon when I can splurge on my nails!! 4 stars only due to how expensive it is however they really do a great job here and is worth the cost, if you can afford it! I have my own cleaning business so strong nails are a must. These nails hold up!!! I had a great pedicure today at Nail Gallery! It was very easy to book online (I found the link here on Yelp). Jimmy was very nice and communicative and did a perfect job with my nails. The regular pedicure even included a hot towel treatment and hot stone massage. The place is small but they have lots of color choices. Everyone working here seems very nice and they clearly have a good relationship with some of their long-term customers. I didn't have the best experience here. I don't live locally and I'm always hesitant to find a nail salon when I'm traveling but based on reviews I was hopeful Nail Gallery would be decent. Here is my issue: I booked online and specifically requested Kim based on reviews. The booking system showed she was available. When I arrived I had my pedi first and that was obviously not done by Kim the owner which was expected. But when my pedicure was done I was asked to sit in a chair at Jimmy's station. I booked Kim... I want to make sure I note that Jimmy didn't do a BAD job, but I booked my appointment based on photos of Kim's work, and that's not what I got. My dip manicure is ok- 8 of my nails look good, but 2 of them have texture and aren't smooth/shiny which I only noticed after I left the salon. Jimmy's hands were tremoring the entire duration of my manicure and I'm not sure if that was a medical situation or something else but it left me unsettled which wouldn't have been an issue had I been given the nail tech I'd booked. Overall like I said Jimmy did ok other than the texture stuff, but it's a major red flag when I book with an individual and they pawn me off on someone else. Kim clearly catered to regular patrons which I understand but if I specifically booked you, you should make time for me. I could continue to bring you business or, conversely, I could leave you a negative Yelp review because you showed me zero respect. read more

These ladies will take good care of you! I came here as practically a walk-in customer (no appointment save a phone call giving them a heads up I'll be arriving in 10 mins). I booked a same day appointment online with this salon because the prices were reasonable, so I didn't know what to expect when I got there. I got my nails done by Jimmy and he was so sweet and helpful. I picked out a gel color similar to the actual color I wanted because I didn't see the actual color I wanted. During my manicure, Jimmy asked if I liked the color I picked and I showed him a picture on pinterest of the actual color I wanted, and he said that they have that exact color and he got it for me! I had 3 appointments at 12:30 for basic manicures with my mom and niece. When we walked in, the salon was busy but they said they would be with us right away. My niece went first and had a new nail tech. The nail tech was extremely nice and did a great job. However, the other workers there (including the lady in charge) were ridiculing her and being quite rude. Time keeps going by and it is now 1:00pm and I haven't been taken yet. A walk in comes in for a manicure and they were going to take her instead of me. I spoke up and was seen but the nail tech did a poor job on my nails. I am so disappointed in this salon and I will not be returning. I would give them another chance but the way they treated the new girl was disgusting. read more

I love this nail salon because everyone there is very nice, courteous with time(they do get busy but they try to work with you efficiently), also the owner, Kim has awesome skills for ombré nail art. I brought my 4 year old daughter for her first manicure experience and she was treated so well. She loved it and I could not be more thankful! If I could give this place a 0 star I would! Worst nail experience I've ever had from the service to the nails. I was getting a full set which I understand can take some time, and after two hours of being patient the nail tech started trying to do my simple design she told me was no problem initially. The shape I ended up with reminds me of platypus beaks, crooked platypus beaks. A simple square nail nonetheless is what it should've been. There was glue allll over my finger tips and the nails themselves were extremely thick. The design I wanted was simple, French nail tip design with one being a ying / yang design.. the nail tech then informed me after trying to paint the tips that there was a "problem with the nail polish"... what...? Frustrated and trying to manage my frustration I told her I needed to smoke a cigarette to figure out what color I'd want to do seeing as she couldn't do the one she initially told me she could... she told me I had to pay before I left which I could understand but not fully seeing as my nails weren't done and quite frankly they looked horrible... regardless I paid for my nails and then went out and told her I'd be back in less then five minuets. When I came back in she was tending to another person. She eventually came to the seat I was sitting at and painted them, allowing no time to dry she painted THREEEE coats causing them to look clumpy and again horrible!! Frustrated I sat at a fan that didn't fully dry my nails because there was WAYYY to much nail polish on them. I ended up going back after thinking about it and being angry because something that was supposed to be a relaxing experience gave me great anxiety. And I'd have to pay to get them redone. At first she denied me a refund, after repeating how displeased I was she insisted she removed them before she gave me my money back, which again, what? I reluctantly agreed and she then aggressively cut the tips off my nails and put my nails into acetone, she then left and went and sat in one of the chairs where you get your feet done. I asked her how long they have to sit for and she shrugged her shoulders and didn't say anything... again what?? I repeated my question where she then very rudely and almost laughing said " I don't know, awhile " so I responded with " you don't know how long I have to sit here for ?? " and she said " I don't know like a half hour" at that point I was pissed and I demanded my money back and that I was leaving. Not only was this experience horrible she then lied about how much I paid for the set and refused to give me my full refund. At that point I took the money she gave me and I left with my nails looking royal f'ed up with dry cuticle and fingernail beds. I've been coming to this salon for about a year since the new owner, Kim took over. Before her, I had a technician for 15 years who was amazing. After moving I had to find a new place. Kim convinced me to do dip. My nails went from super weak to naturally very long and strong. My fill lasts me a month but I go every three weeks. I went here on a Friday night because my normal place was packed. When I got here, there was only 1 other customer (should have been a red flag), but I still stayed because obviously there wasn't a wait. Now the nightmare occurs. The guy that did my nails was nice enough I guess. However he took FOREVER to do my nails. I only came for a fill-in and was here for an hour & a half....yes an hour & a half for just a fill & paint, no gel or anything special. My nails were long from growing out and I didn't even have him cut them down because I didn't want to add any additional time to this process that I could tell from the first 20 minutes was going to be arduous. So my nails ended up way longer than I like them. Also when I went to wash my hands before he painted my nails there was only one brush to clean my hands with and it looked like it had been there for years. It was just sitting on the sink, not soaking in any disinfectant or anything. I'm pretty sure those brushes sell for pennies, why not invest in a new one or dozen? I was so anxious to get out of that place that I didn't even let my nails dry. Never again! read more

Sigh. I go to this place at least once every ten days for a quick polish. It's 8 bucks, I can go during my lunch break and a polish is obviously a lot quicker than a full manicure. The only reason I continue to patronize this location is because of its proximity to my office.
