Waited until I saw how my nails lasted to post a review. I came in mid-afternoon on a weekday. There was one other customer in the shop. The first staff that greeted me barely looked up from her phone. I'm used to being told to pick a color at nail salon prior to sitting down in pedicure chair. The woman was halfway through my pedicure before having me pick my color. I felt that my services were extremely slow. I was there about an hour and a half for a regular pedicure and no chip manicure. The services were not relaxing. I am also not a fan of salons that have one service provided by one technician and another service by different technician. My no chip started chipping at 9 days. Just an ok experience. read more

I really can appreciate a place where quality care professionalism consideration & kindness goes a very long way‼ I didn't even have an appointment and because I was with my grandmother, I didn't want to have to take her any place else that another distance with her circumstances, so I found this shop directly down from my barbershop, Lady Jane's! Not happy with my nails See the thumb? Looks like a blah line... no curve or "nail salon" flair. I could have done better with my "Sally's beauty" no chip/UV nail machine while using my left FKn hand. Treating myself financially and carving "me time" is a big deal for me. The techs were speaking amongst themselves, probably about me, since I was the only person in there. My experience felt rushed, not spa like and overall unprofessional. This salon is beautiful and very clean! Good location inside the Home Run Inn Pizza shopping complex. I had a good pedicure and she did a Great job with that. I was talked into trying dip nails with tips and it is awful! There must have been a total of 8 coats total she put and it was uneven and chunky even after she drilled it down. I had a dip polish before and it was great... nothing like this. I will not be going again for dip nails. read more

I had an appointment today at 2:00 and called them yesterday to confirm my appointment and explain that I had another appointment this afternoon so I hoped they could take me at 2. The girl told me "don't worry." I arrived today at 2:00 and waited nearly 20 minutes. When I asked the lady if it would be much longer, she snapped at me that "we're busy." Oh, excuse me for wanting to spend money in your damn shop! I finally got my manicure and was very pleased with Tam's work so I made another appointment for next Saturday at 2:00. The girl comes over with the appointment book and tells me that I need to come at 10:00 a.m. if I don't want to wait. I tell her I can't come at 10, and then another girl joins in and starts bitching at me for expecting them to honor my appointment time! I could not believe it. If this is how they treat their customers, I'm not sure how they stay in business. Disgusting experience. read more

These are pictures of my nails they messed up. First they tried to make me pay for the wrong color. After arguing for 20 minutes that the color was not what I shose.....they learned that the polish was wrong all together. Then because I wanted my nails fixed...the manager had a shouting match with me and called the police on me. I still paid for my nails even though they messed them up and refused to fix them correctly. I am so tired of places like this taking advantage of customers and still get paid full price. read more

I'm not local to the area anymore so I don't really have a pulse on what nail salons are good. I did a Yelp search for places close by which usually guides me in the right direction but unfortunately this time it could have done better. I came here with a friend on a weekday and there were maybe 3-4 customers in the salon total. It's a massive place so not at capacity by any means. They maybe had about 12 nail stations and 12 pedicure chairs. We called ahead to let them know we were coming in around 4PM and were told "no problem!" When we got there we were waiting without help for about 10 minutes until someone came and started on my friends nails. We communicated we had to be out by 5:45PM (1 hour and 45 minutes from when we walked in) and they said they were calling in another girl to help out. I ended up waiting there while my friend got her gel manicure and then she had to sit and wait for me to get my powder. It wasn't the best experience especially since there was literally no one in there. My friend's manicure lasted 2 weeks and she was really happy with the color and the quality which I think is definitely worth mentioning. My powder manicure was cracking and chipping within 3 days and was not the best I'd had by far. We were out at 5:40. We should have just gone to my friend's regular nail salon but this one was closer to where we were :/ read more

First time going I went to the salon on Cass and 75th. Seen Tanya. She did my pink and white designed nails EXACTLY the way I wanted. Second time I went to Lemont and 75th instead, just because Tanya was there. She did a great job with a simple purple and some glitter. She is quick but very good ! Ryan did an awesome job with my New Year's nails. I called ahead and got in with no wait, and did a full set of acrylics with a gel top coat. Ryan took his time and listened super well to everything I wanted, and even played around a bit to get the design right when I didn't love the one I initially chose. He was super thorough and was really pleasant to talk to throughout the whole experience. The space is super nice and cleanly, and the staff is very friendly. If I didn't go to college across the country, this would be my go to nail salon, but I'm glad I stopped in and now know where I'll go every time I'm home. read more

Yesterday I walked in and was taking right away ! The place is extremely fancy CLEAN and very sterile when they use the foot spa and utensils. They use a "pedi in a box" which smellled a felt great ! Emily was really nice ! I had another lady who did my nails . She was also very nice . I heard the say they close at 7 but will still take one one at 6:50 which is nice ! Initially when I walked in I got really excited because it's really beautiful inside and super clean. Their tools are sterile and come in a package. My pedi was nice, I do like the products they use, the scrub and the lotion - and they are in individual packets. I opted for dip, and i noticed that there was no hand washing and no mani!!! So my cuticles are dry because of the product, they don't trim them and my nail bed looks a little off because that cuticle isn't trimmed back to make the nail bed look clean. I asked about it and was told it isn't necessary...WHAT?!?! I get my nails done every two weeks and have tried a number of nail salons, they all trim cuticles. I really thought it was weird. The other thing I really think is strange is they make you air dry vs getting under a fan. I mean, I like the spa feel but I certainly don't want to spend 2 1/2 hours getting my nails done. The chemicals they use had a reach of about ten feet. It was making my eyes water. That can't be good. Since they have no fans, the air is stagnant. Such a shame because it's a really nice place - reminds me of magic nails on Butterfield Rd, except magic nails is a lot faster. Not sure if I'll be back. read more

When nails were done with powder dip, I actually loved it, but the tech gave me three deep cuts from the machine they use, and the cuts bled on and off for a week. They hurt/stung like hell. I feel bad for leaving this bad review coz that tech was nice, but I have to. On top of that, I went there to get the dip removed, whoever that girl who greeted me today wasn't too nice, the other tech almost gave me a cut again, and after the dip was removed, I noticed these deep grooves on most of my nails. Thank the Lord I have a heart of an angel and a Cosmetology degree. I'm considering reporting this guy's a$€ to the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation!! Shaping my white girl nails into straight-up 90 degree angles and down to the brink of my nail bed like I'm some dude! Also! He took the COURSE, square, box file buffer and went back/forth like he was sawing a tree truck. Realistically, I would guess it was a 180. I absolutely love this place!!! I've been going to them since they opened and couldn't be happier!! The salon itself is gorgeous and the girls there are the best! They don't cheat you any way around and aren't afraid to use extra product to achieve the look you want. Everything is super clean and I feel relaxed when I walk in the door. I was looking for a new nail salon and found this one just opened a few months ago. The Salon is Beautiful & clean! All Cleaning tools are individually packaged as well as pedicure salts and creams, love that! The staff if very friendly! I didn't have an appointment but was seen within 15 min! Overall great experience with Emily! The pedicure chairs were awesome and most importantly I love my nails! She even made a great suggestion to go with a darker color to cover my bruised middle finger nail- slammed in the door a few months back and now you can barely notice! I did a pedicure and no chip manicure! This was the first time I was able to get the same color on my toes and fingers with a no-chip (usually other nail salons are trying to find a "close" match for your toes). I will be going back again! The only thing I wasn't fond of was the music. I could see that it would be a great environment to keep the workers going and energetic, but as a customer wanting to relax, more subtle music would be appreciated! read more
