I have been searching for a reliable, talented nail tech for months. Unfortunately, I'm still on the hunt. I am very particular with how I want my nails to look so when I saw the reviews/pictures of this place, I decided to call and make an appointment. When I arrived, it was pretty quiet for a Saturday morning but it was clean and inviting so I didn't think twice of it. If I remember correctly, the woman that did my pedicure, Maria, was actually pretty good. I just got the basic pedicure but she ensured that my toes looked good. Great massage chair too! On to the nails... The woman that did my nails, Hannah, said that she had been doing nails for over a decade and that I was in good hands... I believed her until she started. First of all, this is one of those salons that will tell you it's gel but still use acrylic. Most don't know that gel is actually gel -- it doesn't come in powder form no matter how they label it. I asked for an acrylic fill (because I am hip to the gel lie) with french tips. Easy, right? I'm sorry to say but it took this nail tech 2 hours to fail. The acrylic that she applied was uneven, bulky and too thick, the french tip is abysmal. You know when you try to fix your liquid eyeliner so much that it just turns out too thick.. that's what happened here with the french. Tweety, I presume is the owner or manager, had to "finish" my nails because Hannah had someone waiting for a pedicure. When Tweety looked at my nails, I could sense that she didn't even like the way that they looked but she didn't say anything... she aggressively rubbed lotion on my hands, didn't even bother taking off the toe separators and pedi flip flops and asked me to pay. $109... I noticed on the receipt it said "deep V french" -- that's not what I asked for... that's not even what I got... but it was an upcharge that I noticed... I'm not in the business of causing a scene in front of customers; I was already upset with how my nails looked... I don't expect perfection, however, at this price, I at least expect to be satisfied. I decided not to say anything there in front of the customers that were there. I was going to wait until the following business day to call and speak with the manager but Vivy sent me a text asking for feedback so I submitted that letting them know how I felt. I've been waiting almost a week and haven't gotten a phone call, email, text.. nothing. Don't ask me for feedback if you aren't going to read it or respond to it addressing my concerns. I won't go back, I won't even respond if they see this and reach out because it's high time to stop allowing people second chances when they don't deserve it.

First impression: clean and bright! Made reservations. We only had to wait a little bit. The place looked very nice... Simple, clean decor. Spacious with adequate spacing between stations. They had lots of nail colors to choose from. And they had comfy and powerful massage chairs. The food basins were lined with plastic. And they used new tools with each customer. Overall very sanitary. They also wore masks. Prices were comprable to other "strip mall nail salons" but towards the higher end. I got the deluxe massage and it was worth the 50ish dollars. My masseuse spent a lot of time massaging my lower legs and feet. I think the only negative is the tool they use to remove calluses. It looked EXACTLY like a cheese grater with large holes and it felt like it. I actually would have preferred a blade or maybe something with smaller holes... something less harsh? Other positives: they accept Venmo and Zelle

24 hours after a pedicure and this is how it looks. Absolutely terrible.

Update: nails are completely chipped in less than 24 hours. Never had a pedicure chip off in less than a day. I'm really unsure how this place got so many good reviews. They're not friendly in the least bit. They seem inconvenienced by everything. Apparently if you want your heels to be taken care of with a pedicure it is $20 more. They're VERY rushed and a pedicure for $35 is pretty much sit in hot water and get your nails painted. I'd definitely avoid and go elsewhere in the future.

Even us men need to be pampered every now and again.

Tweety runs a top notch establishment. The staff does a great job and makes your feel important. Clean and inviting, this is my go to spot for nail care. Lots of different pedi options to choose from and they are all a heavenly tune for your barking dogs.

Nails

Yesterday I went to the beauty salon to get a French manicure. I left at 7 pm. This morning I woke up and three of my nails were chipped, the polish had come off. It can't believe that it didn't even last 12 hours!!!"

GO TO VIVY'S! You won't regret it. Yesterday, was actually my 3rd time visiting this salon and each time has been great. Everyone is quick and efficient and I never feel like I'm being rushed. It's a newer salon so everything is modern and clean. It can get busy some days, but overall it's one of the better places I've experienced in the area.

I did dip nails with white chrome

I tried Vivy Nails for the first time today and I really liked Molly! It was my first time trying dip (I always do gel) and she was really nice and helpful. She took her time and was meticulous, she asked me every time she used a file or the spinner tool if it felt okay, and constantly checked in with me on shape and color. She's one of the best people I've had at any salon, will definitely ask for her next time and everyone else in the salon was really nice as well.

You can book online which is also super easy and much appreciated! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I had the Oat Milk And Brown Sugar Pedicure: Purifying soak baths to cleanse and soothe the skin. A detox masque to cleanse the skin of impurities, excess oil, and toxins. A gentle exfoliation using our sugar scrub. Callus treatment to smooth rough patches. Steam massage to relax muscles and enhance circulation. Warm towel wrap and paraffin wax treatment will melt away your worries and soothe your tired feet. I highly recommend this one. They scrub my legs with actual oranges and milk. It was really nice! I also really like getting calluses removed and the paraffin wax. My only complaint is I wanted a little bit more done with the callus removal. Next time I will just tell them that. The massage chairs are excellent. Overall, I'm happy with my pedicure and it was a very relaxing experience. I will be back!

I chose water since it was a hot day, but you could choose lemonade, iced coffee, tea, and more. I thought that was a nice touch! My tech was Andy, and he was friendly and thorough. This was my first dip manicure (I've only had no chip), and he explained it to me and answered questions I had. The color I originally chose was a bit too orange for me, and he quickly found me the color I wanted! So far, my nails feel strong and I love how they look! I will definitely be back!!
