This is a sad review to write…read more Yes, Scott the owner is great to work with. That's refreshing and worth stars right off the bat. However, the quality of the work is just not up to a high enough standard IMHO. I don't expect concours-level work of course, but I also don't expect to receive a job that has easily spotted defects in the paint, excess compound visible on plastic parts, and body work improperly attached. I know it's hard to find good help these days, and the results of the work done on my vehicle prove it. The one thing most ordinary people get picky about is a paint job on a car so you'd think extreme attention to detail at a body and paint shop would be top priority right? Maybe they need better lighting? Of course I brought it back and Scott addressed the easily visible issues for the most part, but quite frankly a total repaint is really what's required. Scott told me to let him know if I spot anything more and he'll handle it. I'm sure Scott would take another shot at the whole job, but at this point I just don't have that kind of patience given it took way too long the first go around. I have resigned myself to just be annoyed at the flaws in the paint I can see every time the light is just right. Sigh... My search for the perfect body and paint shop continues.

I…read moregot multiple things addressed on my vehicle, paint touch ups around the whole body, my bumper had broken clips and was popping out on both sides, I had clear coat failure on both sides of my bumper, as well as clear coat failure on my driver door which created a huge bubble that was only getting worse with time. Andrew was kind, helpful, and explained what he would be doing to all areas of my vehicle. On top of that he was able to get the work done in a timely manner which really helped me because I needed to get it in to get engine work done a few days after my appointment with him. I was met with hostility and another bill from a different mechanic to fix the issue. I'm actually in shock when we called him and he told me to come down to his shop to "talk man to man", the guy seemed to be a stand up, honest mechanic and we were initially extremely happy with his work. The cost of everything when they fixed our vehicle was $6,000 back in June. The mistake was $800. Not a stand up guy. Not honest. Would not recommend.

I took it to Rafael after getting 2 local estimates, one of which was absurdly expensive (even if my friend was paying for it). Rafael was straightforward and pretty much told me that he could have the dent fixed today and for half the price the other shops quoted me. Rafael got started right away and we took a couple before pictures, and he got the car under better lighting, so I could see all the mini dings caused by my failed attempt to put the dent back in place on my own. He worked diligently and let me stick around and chat with him. Even though we were chatting, he was able to get the job done perfectly in 2 hours. The other shops told me that I had to bring my car on a specific day and that I would be able to pick it up on a subsequent day. The best part about his work and his approach to service is that he treated my '99 Avalon as if it was a nice, brand new luxury car. Don't waste your time fixing dents with anyone else. I try to be very disciplined in leaving 1-star reviews, but this business deserves it. I came in with a scratch that started at my driver-side door and ended on my passenger door. I was quoted and given an estimate by an employee. I called back to schedule a drop-off and a woman who called herself the owner was so difficult to speak with. Not only did she over-talk me, but she bad-mouthed her employees. She followed by saying her employee shouldn't have given me an estimate. I said, well why is the employee working there then? The owner replied, "Well she's new." To which I responded, "Well why was she left alone then?" I continued, "I have an estimate in the name of the company and I'd like to drop my car off and for the estimate to be honored." After going back and forth for 18 MINUTES, she finally agreed to "allow" me to drop my car off so that SHE could take a look. I got to the business, and the owner was even ruder in person. Then she said, well this quote is no good. Let's walk outside so I can give you a real estimate. Then she said, what [former employee] quoted you doesn't cover repair. So the scratch will still be there. After more back and forth arguing bc she wanted to double the price on me even though I was holding the work order in my hand showing her, I just left. My time and well-being are too important. I saw other negative comments about storage fees being 3x the industry standard - it's true ($110/day). I saw comments about the owner being unpleasant - it's beyond true. Avoid this place. It's not worth the price or the headache.
