My husband wanted me to use the services of this tax preparing office because he was using the services of Armando Gonzalez for a long time, more than 10 years! We had an appointment at noon, we have to leave two hours later to pick up my daughter and come back the next day. The next day the owner, Armando was very disrespectfull, rude and unprofessional. We asked for our documents to go somewhere else. I can see that the other reviews are a real representation of who this person is. We will never go back! After many years of doing taxes, is sad to write this review. I made an appointment for Wednesday Feb. 7 at 12 noon, one person complained to the receptionist that his appointment was at 9:00 am. We left at 2:00 pm without been taken care of. We made an appointment for the next day at 3:00 pm. I asked the receptionist who was next, she told me that I was . When Armando the owner walked away the current client, I asked are you ready for me?, he replied "you,..you just arrived!!!" And he closed the door on my face. This was already at 3:50 pm. He came out with my file when I was asking for my documents to go somewhere else, he said that I was not been at the office for five years, in front of all the clients, my answer was DO YOU WANT TO BET? He did not, he was caught in his bluff in front of his own clients!!! I said that I have an appointment at 3:00 pm and he replied that there are no appointments at hs office. Then why they give appointments ??? He has a way of trying to avoid responsibilities. That is very unethical and unprofessional. He WAS GOOD with people, not anymore, he is just a pathetic and arrogant liar. What a shame! I did my taxes with him two years ago and I have the proof to back my words. I've always gone here to do my taxes and its always been fine. I went a few days ago but I arrived late, ok my bad. I was still able to leave my paperwork and was told to call back when I wanted to go so they could have my file ready. So I call today at 12:30pm and they said they would call me back to let me know what time I could go. Three hours pass and no call, so I decided to call back and they told me to go in at 4pm. Not even 5mins later they call me saying that the person I go to was booked for the day. I explained that how is it they were supposed to call me, they said they were going to call me and now it's too late because the person is booked??? So now I have to wait til I have a day off from work to go because THEY screwed up. I had other errands to run and here I am waiting for a call back for 3 hours. Fucked up my day. read more

I didn't do my tax here but I did my live scan and they are the WORST!!! Don't trust this company and NEVER do any live scan with them! They are messed up my live scan and now I have been waiting for updates. I called them several times and once they knew it was me, they hanged up and after calling again and again they just put me to voicemail!!! This company is the worst of the worst!!! He talks bad about everyone and his competitors. All he cares about is money money money! He surprised us at the end that he charges by the hour and the whole entire time he kept us there, he would talk nonsense and he types like a chicken. He kept us there for 4 hours because he knew that we weren't aware of that. He took advantage of us and made it very clear that he doesn't care about his clients. I am very happy with these guys. Their expertise handling of my taxes were done professionally and complete. Last year, they helped me with an Amendment filing. I was able to get great tax advice and service on what to expect. They handled the necessary copies going to the IRS and Franchise Tax Board, and they advised me every step of the way. The other thing I noticed is that it was much more efficient than before. I made my appointment at 9:00 a.m. Got in to see the Mayte at about 9:15 which is a very reasonable wait time. She had me out of there with my extremely complicated taxes using long forms and itemization in less than 2 hours. I was home by 11 a.m. and it takes me about 15 minutes to get home! I was very happy this year. I commend them for their expert help with last year's Amendment which came through positively with the IRS and with this year's handling of my appointment and preparation of taxes. I have been to tax preparers that don't charge much money, but I learned my lesson for my situation. These guys are worth the cost because they offer great information as you are in the midst of preparing your taxes and that lets you make the best informed decision. I read the other review with the one star, and everything this client said happened to as well, but worse, as I came back the second day after waiting for 6 hours the previous day, he still made me wait from 10:00am until 5pm I went got lunch and waited patiently but distraught, since I knew my baby had been without me for way too long, and my babysitter had to go to work. First the 16 year old girl at the front desk didn't even know what she was doing, she kept asking for people's social security out loud, there's no privacy there what so ever, it's such a tiny place with such uncomfortable chairs, but okey I dealt with of that, until he finally called me, to my surprise, armando told me that he was way too tired and I had to come back the following day, because my case was way to difficult, since I have a house, at this point I told him, that this was my second second day waiting for hours on end, and that wasn't fair to me, on top of everything your 16 yr. old clerk was very rude to me, and he told me to leave, he didn't want to hear my complaining, I said, your throwing me out? and yelled to my face, YES!!! grabbed me by my arm and through me out, of his disgusting office, it's taken me months to finally write this because I still can't believe he did that to me, even a young man that was there told him to let go of my arm, and he told him to leave as well. I'm writing this, in the hopes that someone recorded this event and gets in touch with me, because I will have proof of him hurting me, and I will press charges, and even if no one gets in touch with me, my husband and me will file charges against him.. This place sucks! I went to get a livescan, had made an appt., arrived on time, the girl told me it would be less than a five minute wait, then she left. Went to lunch I think....about 15 minutes later another girl came out and told me she was just re-booting the computer and as soon as it was back up she'd bring me in the back...said it wouldn't even be 5 more minutes. She then picked up the phone and talked for the next 20 minutes while I sat and waited in plain view. Finally I got up and said I'd just like my ID and form back so I could get the hell out of there...she happily handed it over to me while she continued on with her conversation. Went to this place to file corporate taxes we had an appointment with Armando and let me be the 5th person to say he is rude as hell. I have never felt so disrespected by bad customer service. We get there at 2:30 our appointment is at 3pm he comes out his office at 3:45 with a smirk on his face and tells us to go in keep in mind we had an appointment with him and he straight out tell us he's not going to work on our corporate taxes we were like that's why we are here he said the lady that does the corporate taxes didn't want to work on your file wtf he said Im only working on personal taxes I was going with my business partner since he knew the guy been going to him for years and his attitude is by far the worst I have ever seen.
