This is a nice comfortable place to visit with several regulars having their beverage of choice while deep in discussion solving the world's problems. This is a typical sports bar heavily favoring the Chicago Cubs as you can probably tell from the name. There are pool tables, a jukebox, video poker and lots of TVs. Lots of lighting but the place still seams on the darker side. The only staff I saw was the man behind the bar and there has to be someone in the kitchen because people were ordering food. It looked like the typical bar food, deep fried and burgers. I have eaten here in the past and enjoyed that meal. Cubs fan or not this is a nice place to visit and you can feel welcome. Parking and entrance is in the rear so don't miss out!

My friend was excited to see an Impossible Burger on the menu. As a vegetarian, it is rare for her to have a solid lunch option. Daisy's even had vegan fare available, which was a nice surprise. No biggie I explain I called ahead and she directed me to the bar to get my food. (When I ordered over the phone they didn't tell me my total, there's a 4% additional fee for credit cards) The bartender takes my name and goes to grab my food, she comes back with food and total. Of course I didn't have perfect change ready and gave her extra. She took my money to the register and just left me stranded and out to dry. I finally found another employee to right their wrongs, he grabbed her and she went back to the register. She comes back and shoves my change across the bar. She seemed like I was the one being the problem. If this was my "friendly neighbor bar" I'd be calling my realtor.
