Good place to hang out and eat some American food! Decent burgers and love the pickle chips! Perfectly fried! The wings were a lil salty for my taste and had to eat them with a side of their garlic dip which I love! Ordered a drink with Tamarindo Smirnoff. It was delicious! Since it was flavored vodka you really couldn't taste the alcohol on that one. They have karaoke Fridays so it was cool to hear ppl sing. The speakers were a bit loud ( reminded me of a club). As soon as you walk in, this place is loud. With both energy and decor. Tons of lights up on the ceiling and little pig decorations everywhere. We happened to come on music trivia night, which was a nice surprise to join in on! The service was great. Great service! In addition to our server, a man came around offering samples of beers and canned cocktails. I don't do well with high top tables and that is all we saw when we walked in. Keep walking! There are low tables behind the wall. The food was delish. He had the tenderloin sandwich and I had the soup and salad combo. Homemade tortellini and sausage soup with a fresh salad with dill ranch dressing. Lovely combo for $10. He thought the tenderloin needed more seasoning. The atmosphere was vibrant and loud. Best tenderloin in town- and the staff is excellent! Lots of TV's to see your team play!

My complaint is that they charge a credit/debit upcharge. It is illegal to upcharge a debit card and they refused to allow a pin number to be used. All receipts have this charge and you are only allowed to bypass by using cash. Bad business practice and money skimming. read more

A lively sports bar / pub with pretty varied menu. We started with their fried green beans and they were terrific! perfectly breaded & spiced. We ordered a Reuben and a tenderloin sandwich, which is basically a chicken fried steak in a roll. Both were very good. Service was prompt considering it was crowded and a rainy night, and our waitress checked in regularly without hovering. Service at the bar was super slow even though it wasn't busy. She was training someone, I think, but she did a poor job of checking on the 2 customers at the bar. Asked for a black and tan and the bartender said absolutely. She came back with half pints of blue moon and cracked a Guinness and asked if we wanted to pour the topper or if we wanted her to. I said you please and she proceeded to middle pour the Guinness without even attempting to layer. Before she poured the second I asked if she had a spoon and she replied "oh did you want me to layer this?" I said yes please and she responded "yeah I'm not going to do that" then middle poured the second drink. Our group also got crossed off the waitlist because we got beverages from the bar while waiting for our seats. What a fun place to grab a bite to eat. Staff were very friendly. Atmosphere was great. We had a party of 5 and all got something different. The Jacked Mac n Cheese is good but prepared for the heat! Made from pepper jack cheese and a hint of ghost pepper. The side of sweet potato fries came with a side of homemade creamy cinnamon dipping sauce. That was to die for! She had the Reuben and fries, I had the tenderloin and Onion Rings. We both should've gotten a box for left overs instead of eating it all. The tenderloin was great, not too thin and not dried out. The Reuben could've used more thousand island, but was very good. The fries were great. And the onion rings were too but a little too dark from the frier. What an outstanding little roadhouse style bar/grill. They have a great list of local beers on tap. I had the coffee stout and it was great. Best tenderloin in Cedar Rapids is not a lie! The locally produced pork really makes a difference in the taste and makes me respect the restaurant even more. Speaking of local, there are many beers on tap and over half of them are local or around this region. Environment can be loud, but it is friendly and fun kind of loud. Don't forget about the patio! It's so cute and quaint, tucked behind the building under trees (or what's left of them after the big storm of 2020). The fairy lights are cutesy and there are 4 large tvs, perfect for football season!!Timing of the food is quick which is nice for a grab and go kind of lunch or dinner. The service is immaculate. THAT alone makes me wanna keep coming back! Lots of the same staff over the years must mean whoever owns, or manages, is doing a hell of a job that no one wants to leave. Cool bar and grill. We stopped here for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the cool fall decorations and big screen tv's playing Monday night football. Our waitress was Katie who was very friendly and immediately offered some of the highlights on their beer menu. She also recommended several sandwiches including the Pig Out which is the one we ordered and shared. Food was delicious!
