Just bought a Groupon with this place. Just saw review that it is closed. Their phone number isn't working either.

I've gotten tires here at an excellent price, they've done front end work for me, they are on time and honest.

While I was trying to gather my USB drive and personal items, one old b***** working there told me to "stop f****** around" and hurry up. (He had a long crusty white beard) anyways Before that, another employee looked at my wrecked car, said I "f***** it up bad," and giggled about it. I was clearly already having a terrible day and in bad shape emotionally, but there was absolutely no sympathy, professionalism, or basic human decency from the staff. If someone just went through a crash, the last thing they need is to be mocked and rushed while collecting their belongings. They also messed up the car 10 times more when they towed it, if it wasn't totaled then it is definitely totaled now

*********WARNING********* I'm only giving it a star because…read moreI have too. Barber's Towing and Storage has been a complete nightmare. After I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident and rushed to the hospital, they towed my bike without ever being notified by Knightdale Police or Barbours. I went back next day and bike was gone. I searched for a few days and finally was able to track it back to Barbours. a few days passed storage fees continued to pile up when they had no authorization to store the bike legally anyway. I've made multiple attempts to contact, plea with them and they have been rude and nasty during this horrible time. I have medical documentation stating I am unable to return to work for at least four more weeks, which they are fully aware of. Despite this, they have refused to show any flexibility or compassion and have instead rushed to start the lien process. I've been in the office twice with my crutches and cast. This is a 2021 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200cc with only minor damage, a bike I paid nearly $10,000 cash for and worked extremely hard to own. She is sharp bike. Rather than giving me a reasonable opportunity to recover, return to work, and reclaim my property, they appear intent on selling my motorcycle out from under me. This company seems more interested in profiting from someone's misfortune than doing the right thing. No communication, no understanding, and no willingness to work with an injured customer. Just straight greed and cutthroat mentalit. I understand you have a business to run but they could have worked with me! strongly caution anyone dealing with Barber's Towing and Storage. this goes from corporate accounts to the little guy just trying to stay afloat.

Great experience- very chill staff, easy going- and gives you tools to use if needed (Screwdriver…read morefor plates for example) Puts lots of trust in customers so it's equally deserved. Doesn't spam you with messages or updates like others. Plus they have personal pets at the shop such as dogs which is a plus if you're an animal lover. Overall great service- makes you feel positive even if you're at your lowest dealing with a loss of a car. They do everything they can for you without a hiccup so to say- wonderful company. Only downside- I never received a call regarding my vehicle, the process, etc. when it was taken by my insurance company. Would like that "peace of mind" if plausible... I get they can't control everything- but even a little phone call would be nice to update me on my vehicles stance? Like who took my precious car and whatnot? And it's not only on them- I also didn't receive any information from insurance themselves. So take what you want- but otherwise a great company given what you have received on the roadway and the aftermath. Would definitely recommend this company....only complaint is the lack of communication. I didn't even know if my car was towed out of the lot unless I called on my own time... very weird. No one updated me- very weird. Not a call- text- Etc. Would at least like a heads up so to say- or more information regarding a vehicle on your property that's being taken care of. Very peculiar..... but it is what it is. A worthwhile company to look into- but if you want response and action? Do it yourself... no one and I mean NO ONE has called me from their number regarding my vehicle? Very random. They're super friendly but something is off. Either way- it's a great company, but does NOTHING to reach out to you. Sad shit- all I have to say.

While trying to problem solve and put a clear plan in place he failed in every single category from respect to clear communication. To the point, when I tried to ask him for specifics, his reply was "I have a million dollars, you don't." He then continued to tell me he did not care for the questions I had and I eventually had to coach him through the process of clear communication. His employee on the other hand was very respectfup and helpful. And was clearly embarrassed to be associated with his "leader". All in all my opinion rests that they have the equipment and employees but are seriously lacking respectful intelligent leadership.
