After getting a new car, I looked around for a high quality tint that would help reduce the heat of the SoCal sun. I ended up going with Pro Window Tinting, and I am very glad I did! Out of the many tint shops I contacted, they were the most responsive to my many questions regarding their tint products, warranty (lifetime), and price quotes. Being an authorized dealer from their tint manufacturer and being in business for decades also helped me fell more comfortable that they would be around should anything go wrong with my tint later on. I went with their Johnson Window Films InsularIR ceramic tint over a few of the other shops' other offerings (like Suntek, Rayno, and 3M) - mainly because their product's TSER (a measure of how well it blocks heat) was the most cost effective. (If you want top of the line look for someplace that uses 3M crystalline tint, but be warned it costs hundreds more). For my car, I went with a 70 shade for the front windshield, and 35 everywhere else, but they carry all the other shades you might want as well. For the actual experience, I made an appointment over yelp, went to the shop, and everything went smoothly - no surprises or bait & switches from the quoted price. They have a comfortable waiting area, but I opted to go run some errands nearby while they worked on my car. After it was done, everything looked great! I followed their advice and let the car dry outside and nearly every spot dried like Junior (guy I worked with) said it would. I mentioned nearly every spot dried - everything looked flawless except two weeks later my wife noticed a small spot (less than a millimeter in diameter). I asked Junior about it and he told me to come on back to the shop, and he fixed it up in about 5 seconds! Overall, highly recommend Pro Windowing Tinting. Due to COVID the shop is by appointment only. Communication via Yelp was easy, convenient, and fast. I arrived about 20 min late and the staff was STILL super courteous and professional. They completed the job in about 2.5 hours. When I got home I noticed a blemish on the driver's side plastic door molding from the tint installation. I immediately brought it to the owner's attention, who was really responsive. After a few back and forths and pictures the owner agreed to replace the molding. Truly amazing service all around. I strongly recommend Pro Window Tinting as they did an excellent job with my vehicle tinting. They also offer a lifetime warranty on both parts and labor on all their work. So I just picked up a 2015 Corolla last month, and one of the first things I knew I had to do was get those clear ass windows tinted. I was recommended Pro Tint by one of my coworkers. And after looking at some of the pictures posted by my fellow yelpers of their cars, I decided to give them a go. I called ahead of time and made in appointment for 1pm on a Saturday. When I got there, the workers are really helpful. The tint selections are on the window in the entrance. I decided to go with the $175 tint: 35% in front and 5% in the back. They kept me informed on how much longer until my car will be done. It took a total about 2 hours for my car to be completed. Which was fine with me. If you want something done right the first time, don't rush them and let them take their time. I found a Thai place just a few blocks away and got a Thai tea. Then I sat on a seat in front of the Pro Tint and just people and car watched. Lol. Time definitely flew by. And when my car was done, they brought my car to the side of the building. So here's the story, I sent out a message asking for quotes on a all windows ceramic tint for my lexus gx. Pro window tint were the first to respond and took me in same day. They did an excellent job and looks great so far. They used johnson tint, a product made locally in carson CA.im all for supporting mom and pop shops and the fact the they use locally sourced product was icing on the cake. Pro Window has got to be the most honest business in Long Beach. I purchased a new car that had a dark tint on the windows. I went to Pro Window to remove the dark tint and replace it with a lighter one. The work was to take 2-3 hours. I just got a new 2020 Chevy Equinox and wanted to get the windows tinted. Searched around the area and received a few quotes, some higher and a few lower, but due to Pro Window Tinting's great reputation and long standing business, I decided to proceed with choosing them. After messaging Pro Window Tinting on Yelp for a quote, they returned my inquiry with a few options and quotes within 1 hour, which was very pleasing. Like I said before, some quote were lower (not by much) and some were higher, but I ended up choosing Pro Window because of how fast they responded to not only my initial question, but to all my further questions down the road. JR was very respectful and was able to accomodate my schedule and set up an appointment within 24 hours of me reaching out. I was even 30 minutes late to my appointment and they did not mind, were not upset and acoomodated me. From beginning to end, the service at this place is off the top and that is the main reason I will be coming back. Now for the tint job. As you can see in the photos, they did a FANTSTIC job. JR asked me which package I wanted to proceed with and after making a few recommendations, I ended up handing over the keys and on my way I went. Since my car already had some factory tint, JR recommended that I keep that in mind when choosing how dark I wanted to go. I ended up choosing Limo tint all the way around (which he told me in advance was going to be pretty dark) and I could not be more pleased. They were done with the entire car within 1.5 hours (quoted 2) and payment was exactly what he quoted. Nothing less, nothing more and that's how I like to do business. Car looks fantastic, get comments all the time about how well done the tint job was. I also received a lifetime warranty, which was pretty awesome. I also like how the Owner (JR I believe) was there on a Saturday and was actually the one doing the labor. Shows that he is a hard working person and deserves all the work that comes his way. I will continue to bring my vehicles here because they are honest, accommodating and you can just tell that they know what they are doing and do a killer job.
