The Prohibition Burger with fries is a fantastic dish. I had it medium and it was juicy and tender. It has a great combination of cheese, carmelized onions and spring lettuce with mustard aioli. The fries were crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. We shared a house salad with fantastic ranch dressing. I also enjoyed the Arnold Palmer drink. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather and atmosphere. It is a beautiful restaurant inside and out. Brendan was our waiter and was fantastic. Very personable and professional. crooks! rip offs! went there for dinner we were a party of 4 we arrived 10 mins prior to our reservation time, we were seated at a odd shaped table where our backs were to each other lol the service was so slow we had to walk to bar to get drinks because our server couldn't be found! we ordered dinner at 7pm our food was brought out at 8.30pm and even then our plates were were brought out separately like 5 to 10 mins apart, my wifes pasta was cold so we asked to return it but all they did was put it in a box and dumped it off at our table and said sorry no refunds take it home and heat it up! drink prices are insane and they are very small and watered down and we were charged a 23% mandatory large party gratuity for a party of 4! ! we heard the server tell another couple who complained about the slow service and mandatory 23% gratuity and server said " complain all you want im getting my 20% no matter what! the other 3% is for entertainment" in the end the steak was very tough and over cooked the pasta was cold and the overall experience was so far by far the worst ever! needless to say we will not ever go back to that joke of a resturant read more

We (group of 5) came here on a Saturday afternoon there was surprisingly no wait time! Immediately staff were extremely welcoming, attentive, & friendly! The environment was live & decor was very aesthetically pleasing. The food was all so delicious- I had the chilaquiles & they were soooo good & the steak was cooked perfectly. The food was so good no one talked for a while as we all munched. We all also got the bottomless mimosas & the server made sure to always keep our glasses full which we absolutely loved. However, when I have returned I had such horrible service. The entrance fee was 30 dollars each cash, and there atm was not working when I had to tried to pay. The lady Arelli was very rude, dismissive, and passive aggressive when working at the front. As someone with high expectations I was very disappointed with this terrible experience. read more

My husband and I go every year on new years eve to proabition. This this was not a very good experience. They still had people eating at 10pm. We were stuck outside until 11:05 pm in the rain. It took them until 10:25 to put up umbrellas to keep us from not getting wet. We all were very wet. Normally u guys stopped people from eating at 8pm but not this year. This is a very difficult review. We went for dinner and then stayed for music. I had the Maple pork belly and IT WAS THE BEST! Really! Cooked perfectly. Crispy on the outside, soft and juicy on the inside. The maple was absolutely genius because it highlighted the best of the pork but allow the flavor of the pork to shine. We also ordered the Asian chicken wings and they were ok; not bad at all but not special either. So why is this a hard review? My friend ordered the filet mignon (the most expensive on the menu). She ordered it medium rare, it was served well-done. Reordered it and again it was served well-done. She sent it back and didn't order again. The manager gave us all a small discount but my friend went away hungry. So, the moral of the story is to not order the filet (unless you like it well-done). Drinks were outstanding. They have a whiskey Menu that is the best I've seen. We had Moscow mules, cosmopolitans and wine....all very good. Service was good especially since it was very busy, loud and loud hehehe. read more

Well, I didn't know this place was a night club, but every time I am in town for business this is usually where I have dinner. I've eaten here a few times and the food is good, a bit pricey honestly, but their burgers are delicious. I've had burgers, a steak dish, and a few chicken dishes, and they used to have a tri tip steak dish that was the most amazing of them all. Each visit my server has been super nice and the staff in general is friendly. The other day I went, there was an employee that got a bit too close to my personal space and now that I see this place listed as a night club it really makes sense. This was the only real negative thing I have to say about this place, and I hope it is an isolated incident, but it definitely left a weird feeling. read more

This is my first night out in Downtown riverside and decided to come to proabition night club and had a great time .

Not knowing what to do for my birthday this year I decided to celebrate here. I had heard a lot of good feedback from friends and family. The only thing I didn't like is the fact that in order to sit you need to spend quite a bit of money. Thankfully, we were a big party ( 14 or so) and split bottle service at a table. It was so much fun, I danced the night away. Cheers to 24 years! I will definitely return! The atmosphere was great, no fights, no drama. Just music, drinks, and dancing! Oh and DJ Turbulence gave me a rad shout out, it was awesome. Amazing!! The manager Jason was amazing to work with! I had to plan A impromptu bachelorette party for one of my girlfriends and had no idea where to start. Jason and his staff cane to the rescue. We emailed, texted and even talked on the phone the whole wk prior to the big day. I had asked for 2 bottles and sadly one we originally wanted wasn't available so the manager offered another replacement with 2 bottles of champagne for free!! One of the guys in the bar "Mike" was an amazing sport and even gave the Bride to be a tasteful lap dance!! The waitress we had for the night was behind attentive. She interacted with our entire party, even pumped up some of the girls who weren't happily dancing. I suggest everyone request her by name when booking bottle service! "Leene" was her name. I looked at my lols reviews and didn't know what to expect, but I'm so glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews because I would have never found this amazing place filled with amazing staff! Be mindful of the ratings. There is one for Proabition Night Club and Proabition (the restaurant). This rating is for Proabition Night Club. I was referred to this place by a friend and booked with a club promoter. The venue is adjacent from The Mission Inn and for the location the club becomes super ghetto at night. This club attracts the wrong crowd and every 30 minutes or so a fight would breakout. The party goers inside were disgusting and were underdressed for the event. I even saw a young gal in the bar area who was at least 8 months pregnant. Ventilation is bad to the point where the inside becomes extremely hot and humid making it impossible to breath. Drinks are weak and watered down and table service is a joke. Be prepared to be extracted from your table without warning because they will expect you to pay another $200 for a bottle to continue service or to stay at the table. Don't be surprised to see a $100 fee on top of your bill for tax and gratuity and another $100 more if you book a table in the main area (DJ area). Filed a complaint with the general manager and still have not received a response. Tried getting reimbursed by my credit card company but was unable to do so because the time frame was not indicated in the contract. (Tip: Don't put your billing address or your credit card info on the auth form, they will swipe the card once seated at the table). Definitely would not recommend this place, nor would I return to this venue... EVER! Bottles fees below. Got a table on 5/27 at 11:50pm. I was waiting for it to hit 12am to celebrate my birthday. It was really cramped and hot. The music isn't really my style. Do NOT book a table here!!! They were so unorganized and money hungry!! When my group and I arrived, roughly around 10pm, our table wasn't even ready. We had to wait so they promised us a bigger table. We got a bigger table and was happy however, as we were enjoying our 30 minutes in, they squeezed another group in our table!! What is even worse was a man was drunk and harassing our table and the bouncers did NOTHING! As a female, I did not feel safe because that man was being very aggressive. My group never starts any trouble at all so we were lucky our friend de-escalated the situation. We paid $700 for that table only to kicked out within 2 hours because another group wanted to buy our table!!! I've never heard of such a thing!! We paid, we should've been able to enjoy our time there especially because it was my girlfriends birthday! Absolutely unacceptable!!! We were being respectful minding our own business just trying to have a good time until BAM! We're forced out! We contacted the manager and they tried to move my party of 10 to an even tinier area next to the bar where it was impossible to fit us all. This review only reflects my experience during a recent visit for brunch in which there were few customers. There was actually more staff walking around than customers. My wife and I were seated promptly. But it took way too long for someone to take our order. And even longer to get our food. 1. I was given another customers food. And after salt/pepper and a bite of the toast...it was taken and brought to the correct table. 2. My correct order arrive. But not my wife's. 3. Complained about the long wait for my wife's waffle order (while my food is getting cold). Manager apologized and said her waffle had been dropped. 4. Waffled arrived way over cooked without the strawberry syrup that was ordered. 5. They finally brought over the syrup, after she was 1/2 finished, and the syrup was maple...not what she ordered. 6. Ordered a side of sausage...had to remind them. Order came at end of meal. Just terrible customer service. Shows very little interest in customers. Won't be going there again. read more

Bad customer service. We had a late dinner at Proabition on 5/28/21 and it was a total of 6 of us and spent over $400. We were told by our waiter (he was great) that we can go to the bar and order more drinks when we're done with dinner since they were getting ready to open the club. When we got to the bar area around 9:45, the bartender said she can't serve us until 10. My husband mention to someone in our group that there was 2 minutes left till 10 and the bartender very rudely told him "You have to wait.We have too much s**t still to do." We ordered drinks after and we're drinking them when a security approached us and told us when we were done if we can go around and wait in line to get wristbands to go into the club. We said ok but a little confused. Then another guy came by and said the same. He and the another guy kept looking at us and then the guy came back and told us to hurry up. We asked him why we couldn't just stay and he can bring the wristbands and he just kept saying we had to go around and to finish our drinks. We decide to skip the line and leave. They lost a few more hundred dollars from us. It was so easy to bring the wristbands, check our purses and pockets and let us stay. We were dressed properly so I don't see the issue. If it was do to keeping track of count then you count people who want to stay and then let the ones waiting in line in. They hadn't even let anyone in yet. When we finally got the table they gave us 2 seats in a corner and we refused to sit there. Everyone at my party was upset. One person came to us and said so are you guys going to stay or leave? Hostess is extremely funny - due to my name "chris brown" but made the experience fun and pleasant! DO !!!NOT!!! PURCHASE A TABLE HERE!!! We purchased a table for $700 for a fun night out with a large party to celebrate my 36th birthday. We entered the facility at around 10:15pm and didn't get seated until 10:30pm. The night went well until 12am when a bouncer/security told us that we had to leave our table because they had another group who wanted to buy our table!!! Talk about profit-hungry!!! I asked to speak with someone in charge, and he said no one was available. I have never felt so repulsed in my life!!! Especially with all our family and friends that we had invited (roughly 30). It was downright embarrassing. I wasted my time arguing with the guy for 15 minutes and still he remained adamant that we needed to leave. Everyone was so upset, we ended up leaving the club shortly after. This place has no idea what DECENT CUSTOMER SERVICE means! After the incident, we tried reaching out to the General Manager and of course, NOTHING! So before you decide to waste $700 on a table, make sure you have it in writing that you will remain seated and not treated like a second-class citizen.
