I have a hereditary hair loss condition that has had my hair thinning for about 28 years. I found Probascos while driving through town with my husband. He noticed it first and said, "Babe, you should try that place." Little did we know they would have exactly what I needed. I made the appointment and was promptly greeted by Cindy. Cindy took the time to listen to my story and concern. I thought I knew what I needed, but she walked me through a process with her patience and knowledge. Though synthetic, the high-quality wig feels like real hair. I have purchased a couple of high-quality, synthetic wigs in the past and the price was a little lower than here, but if you want a lower price, you'd have to travel. This I thought was a fantastic place! I went in needing some advice to purchase a Bible. I had many requirements- that I didn't realize I had once I was done lol! Anyway the gentleman who assisted me was very kind! He was helpful and went into great depth with me and I found that to be amazing! I also thought man when did Bibles get so expensive! Well it was worth it after I left. I got more than I expected when I left.. I got an awesome Bible. It's also as I say for dummies!!! They got a customer for life! Lots of wigs in stock, if you are wanting a topper though, very limited pieces and I suspect toppers aren't their specialty. Ask about prices ahead of time, I learned this the hard way when having alterations done on an existing piece I had purchased elsewhere that didn't fit right. I paid $75 for a few clips to be moved, and although I asked for the density to be thinned, now you can see the cap seam below as it was thinned too much in the front. HORRIBLE SERVICE/HIGH PRICES/NO REFUNDS ON WIGS--My mom has cancer and we found this store on the internet...we were pleased about them having more wigs in stock than most places but were horrified by the service. The woman that runs the shop was combatant at best with her attitude, had no compassion whatsoever for my mother, and was only interested in talking about herself and how wonderful their wigs were. They are careful to not put prices on any of the wigs so you don't even know what price range you are trying on...they could quote any price they want once you decide what you like. I tried to explain how my mom has back pain and can't sit very long but the shop owner continued to spend a very long time trying to sell my mom products that she did not come in for. We just wanted to shop for wigs and she was aggravated that we weren't interested in anything else. She kept putting really tight wigs on my mom even after I told her how my mother gets migraines from this. She got quite nasty with me when I asked her for a second time if we could put a larger size on my mom and we got up and left. When someone has cancer, things like wig shopping need to be as pleasant, brief and painless as possible. This shop provides the most unpleasant, prolonged and painful service imaginable. I DON'T RECOMMEND SHOPPING THERE. Sincerely, A daughter that loves her mom.
